I can always find at least one thing to buy here. They have great accessories and fabrics.

When I was wandering through Hollywood Blvd. I happened upon this store. It seemed like an old-school take on American clothing but refreshingly different. The staff was super friendly and one of the guys took some time out to explain the store’s concept. Basically, it’s an English brand imitating a Japanese take on American fashion… a mish-mash…a best guess. The sizes are fit for Europeans, slim cuts and great construction. Most of their clothing has great unexpected details, like a jacket that has finger holes for when you’re riding your motorcycle… never would’ve know if the sales associate didn’t tell me. Awesome find. The Hollywood location is just a pop-up…not meant to be permanent. Supposedly, the were thinking of moving to Westfield Century City or someplace on Sunset, I think. Haven’t been there recently but if it’s closed… they must have moved on.

When I went to Superdry I had no problems with the store or the employees, and it seemed like a pretty cool place. I bought a pair of shorts that I’ve worn and washed no more than 10 times and already they’re falling apart. The seams have come undone in 3(!) different places. There’s now a 2 inch hole in the inner right thigh, a 1 inch hole in the lower right leg, and I can see that it’s only a matter of time before the left leg develops a hole where the seams have already started to unravel. If I’m going to pay about $ 100 for a pair of shorts I expect them to last much longer than they did.

first store to open in the States! the merchandise is pretty unique and was previously only available online or in stores all over Europe. for anyone who is not familiar with the brand, google it and browse the goods online! they just opened, so still some kinks, but I’m told there’s constantly new merchandise arriving…

The Superdry LA Pop Up Shop is located at the Hollywood and Highland Center in the Level 2 courtyard. The clothing is made of super soft cotton and has vintage details and cool graphics. Accessible price points too. I love the wind breakers, especially the navy and green wind breaker with«Superdry» across the back. It was my favorite item in the store.
