Slow staff with no urgency, all seem like they’re high or something. Talking to regulars and to each other too much that it takes longer than normal to get your drink.

First off, I love CB&T. They have the best coffee of any chain. I was at the WeHo store today around 12:30pm. I ordered a coffee and paid with a gift card. The Batista couldn’t get the card reader to read the magnetic strip and resorted to folding a piece of paper around the card, which worked. I made a joke about«whatever works!», to which the Batista made a snotty comment of «management is too busy spending all their time on the golf course, and won’t update a 20 year old register». This may or may not be true, which is besides the point. You don’t badmouth your boss in front of a customer. It left a bad impression about the staff and how they relate to customers. Just my 2¢.

great customer service! i always order an iced soy latte, half pump of caramel, half vanilla and the baristas always get it right! every time! i love coming her to study as the ambiance is low key, clean, and the pre-packed sandwiches are delicious. make sure to bring quarters for the meters, though!

I ordered a large tea, what I thought was the simplest drink to make, and they messed it up. 1 tea bag in a large, not 2. This tea sucks. The worst part is this isn’t the first time they’ve messed up my order. I was stupid enough to think if I ordered something as simple as a hot tea they’d get it right, but I didn’t double check in the store and now I have watery hot drink that tastes terrible. I gave them another chance after a poorly made latte, but this is the last time I come here. There’s a Starbucks down the street where the workers are polite, quick and know how to make the simplest of drinks. Go there, it’s a longer line, but trust me it’s for a reason.

I enjoy CBTL’s products very much, and this store has a great location with patio. However, there is a reason this location always has seating while the Starbucks up the street is always packed — the customer service here is consistently poor. The staff speak to each other as if there are no customers in the store. I often hear cursing, racist jokes, and loud shouting. Here’s a life tip: if you hate your job, find one you like better.

Your typical CBTL store but with a bonus of sometimes shaded outdoor seating to allow you to decompress and watch the world go by. Love their refill policy… sitting in the outdoors might bring on a cool refill!

This is the first time I’ve ever been to a coffee bean. Wow, I was blown away by their tuna sandwich and salted butterscotch latte. I am never going to a Starbucks again. This place is beyond amazing!!! I would come here every day

I stopped here with some friends while wandering the streets of West Hollywood. We’ve just had a big dinner at a Brazilian place, and were in need of some strong coffee for the drive home. We walked a few block from Bossa Nova, and decided to come to this location. I decided to try something different today, so I went with an espresso shot, with caramel and whipped cream. I’m not big on sweets, but this special made espresso mix hit the spot perfectly. Apparently the touch of caramel is a new trend among fellow coffee connoisseurs. Now I see why this particular drink is popular. The customer service was on point, and the store was clean. There weren’t too many people inside the store when we walked in(9:00PM), but the crowd seems chill. Whenever I get dinner at Bossa Nova or Kitchen 24, I’ll know where to get my coffee afterward.

Thanks for making me feel like sh*t by completely forgetting my order when no one else had ordered anything in front of me. Sorry, but you giving me a larger size doesn’t make me feel better. I will spend my money elsewhere. Thank you for your kind service.

After waiting 15 minutes for 3 blended drinks(no one in front of us) all the drinks were watery and tasteless. Threw them all out They don’t know how to make blended drinks here and there is no coorelation to being slow to get quality. Save your hard earned 15 bucks! Starbucks and Peet’s have nothing to worry about.

No smile ! No thank you ! I had the strong feeling that you wanted to laugh as my English is not that good. I asked for a oolong tea & you asked me to look for it on the tea list … By saying this friendly«which one ?» ! This place used to be nice and welcoming. Well, it was not my day … may be ! I will try again …

Almost never a line, staff is friendly. Only minus is it is small inside and sometimes you can’t find sitting room on a cold day. I’m not sure they have Wifi as well.

I’ve been to other Coffee Bean in the 626 area and LA and this one in West Hollywood is the most friendliest I’ve been to. Usually never a line. They are quick in service and the drink always come out good. Keep up the good service and drink Coffee Bean employees!

My favorite Coffee Bean thus far! Everyone there is incredible! Gabby, Eddy, Anthony. the list just goes on and on! But my favorite, hands down, is Ramiro!!! He is such a sweetheart and super nice and knows how to make my day all the more sweeter every time I stop by :) it’s because of him that I don’t go anywhere else for coffee

Years of coming to this location on a regular basis and I’m basically done. Sure I like some of the staff. others are okay. though not to go off track too much, but a year ago there was a girl named libby who was downright awful. yelled at me multiple times, other had complaints(pale albino blond girl). but she’s gone. anyway, even with libby gone, and the staff being fine, there is something off now. the staff hate their jobs even if they do it adequately. the morale is low and it shows. some of the baristas look like they’re crying when they make your drink. also, their coffee gives me heartburn and gas now. starbucks doesnt. i dunno why. finally, they just raised their prices again. coffee bean is significantly more than starbucks. about 10 – 50 cents more per average drink. that ends up if you drink coffee everyday for a year. so while this coffee bean is very convenient for me, I will go a little out of my way for a better time at the local starbucks locations

The service is usually very quick, even whenbit is relatively busy. Moreover, the staff makes a point to acknowledge your presence as soon as you enter. My soy lattes, hot or cold are always made perfect. These folks keep the atmosphere pleasant enough for studying, yet open enough for socializing, meeting friends and networking. The location is optimally placed between La Cienega and San Vicente on Santa Monica Boulevard.

Nice location. Definitely prefer this place over the Starbucks locations in the area. It’s generally quiet inside, but sitting outside can get quite loud from all the street traffic and constant honking of impatient drivers. I consistently order the same item, large iced coffee. If the weather permits, I always prefer to sit outside. I enjoy reading or catching up on things while people watching. It’s not just this CBTL, but I’ve found them all to be lacking with their rewards program. They have a rewards program which asks for your phone number to track your spending and earn rewards. However, 9 out of 10 times they’ll fail to either educate you on the program or ask if you have an account at all. I always try my best to remember to give them my phone number, since they’ll likely never ask for it. I’m guessing it’s company wide and they don’t want to push the program with the fear of having to give away a free drink after earning the points. I like the 2 hour limit parking in the area. There’s always plenty of parking on Hancock until 7pm monday-Saturday. No street parking on Sundays without a resident parking permit.

Wow. Staff is super sweet. Winter Dream latte is the bomb! Sweet tea with spices. I am a little disappointed that its a seasonal drink, I would love this every morning. Red Velvet cupcake was great too. 245 calories and 45 calories in fat content. 49 grams of carbs. Guess I am ready to run! Yay for CBTL.

We were standing in line when we were surprised by a lovely lady who offered to get our order started which was great as time was of the essence. Very fast and delicious product and got us on our way. The only thing was they were cleaning the milk and sugar bar and seemed imposed to the fact I needed to get in. I had to apologize cause I felt in the way. Will be back cause I love my COFFEEBEAN!
