I’m so impressed with the LGBT center, I was fortunate enough to have a tour of the Hollywood center and the WeHo location and I can’t say enough great things about this company, their amazing staff, and the truly important work they do for the LGBT community. Thank you Thank You the Los Angeles LGBT Center for all your hard work!

It’s great that they were able to open up another location to provide these services. I’ve been to the other location in Hollywood before, but this new spot is more convenient for me. It would be smart to make an appointment before showing up to speed up the process. We forgot, so we showed up just before they went out for lunch. We then had to make an appointment over an hour later and wait around.
It’s a very small location, so you’ll likely hear everything going on around you. After meeting with the couselor, you’ll be given a pee cup and swab where you’ll go into the restroom and handle that. When I say handle that, I mean pee in the cup and swab inside your anus… not masterbate. You will then be asked to wait in the lobby again so that you can have your blood drawn and mouth swabbed.
Don’t be nervous… getting tested is smart. Oh yea… try to stay off that grindr while they’re drawing your blood. Just sayin…

The folks here could not be more helpful or efficient. I walked in for HIV and STI testing and they had me tested and out the door in about 40 minutes. No charge since they provide this as a community health service. And everyone from the (cute!) dude at the from desk, to my counselor, to the awesome lab tech, could not have been more friendly.
I’ve always been a fan of the LGBT center and I love them even more now that they’ve opened this WeHo outpost. Thanks y’all!
