Sparkletone Dry Cleaning

I get all of my dry cleaning done here, and every time I have gotten only the best results! Everything looks crisp and clean, and the turn around time has never been more than 2 days. On average, it is done the next day. The employees are always so respectful and nice as well. The only downside is they close at 5 so I am always having to go drop off and pick up on my lunch break instead of at the end of the day.

I have never written a review, never considered it. But the situation I just experienced with Sparkletone was a horror fest. For the second time, I took an expensive piece of vintage clothing and asked that it be STEAMED and not PRESSED. Repeating the request more than once to be careful. Obsessively careful because the piece that I brought in the last time had a value of over $ 200. I don’t know what more I could have done to make my request. Both times, the clothing was ruined because it was pressed in a machine. Both times, no apology, they tried to cover up the mistake and make excuses. I would not recommend them ever. Go to Vogue Cleaners at 2001 Kossuth Street if you are in Lafayette, IN. They have obvious, bright colored tags for special requests and everything is done on site. I to take credit for part of this mistake. Who should be stupid enough to come back a second time?

Stay away. These people do not do their dry cleaning in-​house. Instead, they send it elsewhere to get cleaned and then they get it back to you. I didn’t think this was an issue until the time I entrusted them with my dress clothes and they lost several of my dress shirts. When I came in to pick up my stuff, I was informed that they didn’t have any of my clothes. They originally offered me $ 5 in compensation for a $ 50 dress shirt they lost. The icing on the cake was when I asked to speak to the owner and he said it wasn’t his fault that the items had been lost. He wasn’t even the slightest bit apologetic over the issue! When I take my car to get washed, I expect to get it back. When I deposit money in the bank, I expect to be able to withdraw it at a later date. Evidently, Sparkletone doesn’t believe that when you drop your clothes off to get cleaned, you expect to be able to wear them again. I will never use them again to dry clean my stuff and I would warn you to go elsewhere as well.

Best dry cleaners in the world. I took my brown suit here with black grease stains on the back, they got everything out. Professional, cheap, dependable. I wish they would open a location in Chicago!
