This Twin Liquors looks dated from the outside but I really like the staff here and the clientele. Selection is extensive as well. They really know their wine and their spirits. They recommended a not very well known bourbon(Larceny) to my husband as an alternative to Maker’s Mark and now it’s our fave. They will more than gladly help you carefully select a wine to meet your desires. At 35, I feel like one of their younger customers, but this is Westlake Hills. Overall a friendly neighborhood Twin that feels welcoming and not chainy. I prefer it to the overwhelming Spec’s when all I want is one thing. Parking is a cinch, and the staff are so great here.

Great location. Friendly people work. Family run I believe. They have a lot of selection, me run specialty liquors. If they don’t have it, they will order it for you. Quick shipping.

What can I say, I’m spoiled by Spec’s. I have been for the past 8 years, and it’s hard to go other places now. Twin liqours made it easier. This place is near one of the stores I work at and I needed some Banana Liquer for banana pudding(AB’s recipe). The guys here are some helpful! The prices are great, and their Twin Deals are really awesome. My only complaint is that the stores are very small, so there isn’t a ton of choices and selection. If you’re in the neighborhood and need one of the basics(or not too crazy) the guys in here will get you in and out with what you need.

Convenient location and Corner Creek bourbon. Check the Friday/Saturday specials. The twin deal is great every day.

There are bigger liquor stores, there are more interesting liquor stores, there are none closer to my house. Phillip Heyser, Certified Sommelier II will either say hello and let you purchase your wine or he will help you pair the perfect wine with your meal, you choose. The usual Twin Liquors deal applies, 10% off any two bottles of wine. Currently they are running a fall special with 20% off any six bottles. I have found their recommendations to be spot on. I do not mind saying I am looking for a bold cab with rich vanilla undertones and a buttery finish for under $ 15.00. He just walks up to a bottle and says here you go, let me know what you think. As I write this I am drinking a recommended Carmenere from Chile for $ 8.09/ bottle.
