Cascade Summit Montessori

This is a GREAT school! As an –ahem!- somewhat overprotective mom, the security here is so reassuring: password access (multiple!) to get to where the kids are located, the outside play areas are all completely gated and enclosed, and safety is of the utmost importance.
Even more important: the teachers here CARE. They are genuinely invested in helping the students grow and learn. The mixed-​age classes are perfect for letting children learn by observing their peers. The Montessori teaching style is so much more natural than the memorization– and lecture-​style of «regular» schools. My four-​year-​old is so advanced after just a year: he can sew, read, write, do math problems, it’s absolutely incredible.
If you’re interested in Montessori schools, please check out Cascade Summit. If you’re unfamiliar with Montessori, please check into it. It’s a secular (not religious) teaching/​learning style that is so much better for your child than the standard schools.
At his last school, our son cried and begged not to go every morning. At Cascade Summit, he’s usually racing me to the front door each morning! We love it. Highly recommended!
This is NOT a daycare. The teachers don’t just plop your kids in front of a TV set or let them run wild. In fact, I’m not even sure if they have a TV at the school! These kids LEARN.
