Zacharys has pretty good food especially the French onion soup and the pasta with chicken and broccoli dish. What really sets Zachary apart is the laid back bar and great live music they have on the weekends. Definitely worth coming on a Friday or Saturday night.

Sooo good! Lunch was pizza today at Zachary’s: piping hot, mouth watering and thin thin crust, mini pizza comes with soup or salad, today soup was yankee bean and chicken orzo, I couldn’t decide which to order so was given both, delish! I will be back soon!

Super friendly service, waiter very attentive. A wide variety of food selections, something for everyone. Clams on the half shell very good, pizza is thin crusted & tasty, boneless buffalo wings are great. Sirloin steak on special menu was lean & tender, veggies are fresh, cooked perfectly not mushy, I had ½ roasted chicken it was delicious & juicy white meat! Salads are fresh, cold & crispy, included with dinner. The warm rolls & stuffed slices of bread awesome, also included. The portions are big, the place is big we sat at a table, comfortable, casual & reasonable pricing with a variety of food selections, decent portions.

Cool atmosphere, cheap beer, thin crust pizza was really good. Nice bar with plenty of tv’s and seating. Parking lot outside. Employees were very friendly.

Started with the house Cabernet. Tasted like a bad knock off of Welch’s grape juice. Ordered a «Well Done» bar pie«special»(sausage peppers & onion), emphasizing on «Well Done». The pie was not even crisp(and no onions). Informed bartender, he agreed, sent it back, soon the new pie arrives. Sadly, it was not crispy, far from it, first one was better. I gave up. My opinion, this place has horrible wine, pizza and is way overpriced for what they serve. We will NEVER return. Even at half price it’s not worth returning. I’d skip it if free. Although, the service was good. Owners must have their heads in the clouds. They better make big changes if they are going to last too many better places around…

They have the audacity to serve INSTANT mashed potatoes and other cheap items. The food is absolutely awful.

Don’t bother with anything but pizza. The pizza is 5 stars… Thin crust and perfect! But the rest of there menu is terrible. We’ve tried several times, but everything except pizza is just awful. Too bad.

This is a very straightforward American pub and restaurant. The décor is simple and the food is good. The burgers we had were big and cooked to perfection. Even when we ordered cheese and bacon it was all piled high. Very satisfying!

I am a veteran customer of zachs. It has its pros and cons. First off, the place atmosphere wise is top notch. its a nice neighborhood joint frequented by all types of locals anywhere from teenagers for half price pizza on Monday nights to your older couple at the bar. The food is routinely good enough. I will say that the half price pizza is a great deal and an awesome experience with close friends. Getting a huge table and everyone getting a large thin crust pie is one of my most fondest memories. The wait staff Is nice and usually patient. The lady hostess is a bit rough around the edges but nothing to stop you from having a meal. Zachs will always hold a special place in my heart.

If the only thing Zachary’s sold was pizza, wings, and reubens, they would have a 5⁄5. Unfortunately, the rest of the menu is where serious mediocrity shines through. Chewy meat, flat(craft) beer, and generally bland food prevail. Been here about 5 times now. If I’m not after the staples mentioned above, it ain’t gonna be Zachary’s.

Monday is ½ price pizza and wings night. It’s a great deal and the pizza is super thin crust and delicious. We also get the Greek salad which is also really good and fresh.

My all time favorite pizza. Cracker thin crust with a perfect sauce to cheese ratio. Monday’s ½ price pizza is a great deal!

As I travel the country with my trusty Unilocal App, finding a decent pizza joint is fairly easy. Finding a place for a beer is a snap. However, when you want a sit down place that serves pizza and beer that’s more of a challenge. One weekday evening I was in the area and focused on enjoying that iconic combo. My Unilocal app and fellow Unilocalers said go here as long as you like your pizza thin. I’m cool with that so off I went. I sat at huge bar and was immediately greeted by a friendly bartender. I had no problem getting a cold IPA but the beer list is nothing special. If you are not a beer aficionado and just want to have some brews with your meal you’ll be fine here. I was presented with a huge menu but to be honest I was on a mission and focused solely on the pizza. I started with a small pie for $ 11.50 and added three toppings for $ 2 each. I went with sausage, mushrooms and black olives. $ 17.50 for this pie was a little steep but I checked and I would still be able to pay the mortgage that month. I waited a normal amount of time and out came a nice looking pie. Yup, the crust was very thin but nicely cooked. The toppings were fresh and their quantity was just OK. The melding of flavors was also OK but I’ve probably been spoiled living outside of Philly as South Philly pizza is legendary! The atmosphere here is ANYRESTAURANTUSA. There is a huge bar but it’s clear they are also family friendly. This is a solid three star place and I would stop back with no problems.

I didn’t realize it when I arrived, but this was my last visit. I arrived at about 6:45P and sat at the bar. They updated the interior a bit since my last visit… looks nice. They also updated their menu. Reduced the items considerably. Increased the prices considerably, as well. I never mind paying higher prices for quality food, fair portions and great service. service. This place failed 2 out of 3. The only saving grace was the(service) by the male bartender. He was attentive, while his partner was pretty much the«private» bartender for two older male customers(I’m assuming in from the track) on the end of the bar. She didn’t even know I arrived(apparently no peripheral vision), and I was 3 bar stools to the left of the 2 guys. The food: I ordered the«Chilean Sea Bass David». A(maybe) 3 oz. portion of bass, with pieces of tough, overcooked crawfish, swimming in a white wine, crawfish cream sauce. The sauce was tasty enough, but the bass was way to small for the price. In fact, the(brown, wet, mushy) baked potato was larger than the fish portion. The brown, wet, mushy baked potato is usually a sign that the potato was baked twice and refrigerated in between. Apparently their potatoes were from the day before, then not baked, but maybe steamed. Ugh! Will I be back? Nope. Will I recommend it? For drinks maybe. Food? You’re kidding, right?

A rather large Italian restaurant that is located less than a mile from the Monmouth Race Track, Zachary’s is definitely a good go-to place if you’re in the area. We stopped in with a party of five, and here are a few things to note. — The pizza, while amazingly delicious, is thin crust. Meaning it won’t fill you up like a traditional pizza would. Order a few. — This certainly isn’t «fast food» so bring your appetites and be prepare to wait a few minutes. The wait isn’t too long, but if you’re starving it will feel like a long time. — This place becomes nuts after a day at the Race Track. Leave before the last race, and you’ll be fine getting a table.

Parking lot is a total disaster… our waiter was slow and terrible… food was average at best. I’m sure the regulars enjoy this place because of the huge bar The Pizza is probably the best around. If you go here… get pizza.

I used to like this place. Half-price pies on Monday was a killer deal growing up. However, the Greek family that owned this place sold it to new owners that suck. That’s at least my first impression. So, one night I decided to order take out from here. I called in and ordered a plain pie. THEREWASNOCHEESE!!! Okay, maybe like ¼ of the pizza had some cheese. Me, being the asshole that I am, called to ask, «Excuse me, is Zachary’s under new management». They answered, «Yes». I responded, «Well then, that explains why this pizza has no cheese, taste different, and just sucks. I’ll be back in ten minutes for a refund. So, I peacefully got my refund and was out. It’s a shame, this place used to be alright.

This pizza is THETITS. Better than Pete and Elda’s. The service could have been slightly better, but I’m willing to bet it’s because we were a table of 14, with four of them being between the ages of 4 and 7, some people not drinking, some people demanding pitchers of beer. I will absolutely be going back this weekend(hooray!) with my usual crowd(27 – 30 year olds on the bar side). Will re-assess the rating afterwards! BUTGO. EAT.
