Authentic Italian food! The owners and servant are speedy with the service. Be careful not to fill up on the fresh bread sticks. The house dressing is like non I have ever had, with a tangy Italian flare.
I had the pasta combination which has lasagna, manicotti and caniloni all covered with fresh mozzarella and the best marina I have ever enjoyed. The wife had the caniloni and added shrimp. The shrimp were huge and all the ingredients were fresh. We were in for lunch so did not have any drinks of wine but it looked like they had a nice selection of wines, beer and mix drinks.
It is always crowed at lunch but they do a great job of getting you seated fast. They also have a nice outdoor sitting area during nice weather.

Excellent food and gracious staff. Owner greeted my table and made sure all was ok. Calamari and chicken Marsala is really good !!!

Have been there a few times now and all I can say is for the price it is awesome. Very good selection on the menu. Service is great and all the staff are friendly. I had the pizza on my most recent visit and was amazed at the size. Warm and inviting atmosphere. I will go back again and again.

Unbelievable. Delicious food, great & attentive staff & reasonable prices. Very well worth the trip! We were a group of 12 & they easily accommodated us. Food was amazing, and it was all hot & fresh. Thanks for the fantastic dining experience.

This was disappointing. The evening started with having a dirty wine glass, with someone else’s mouth print along the rim, delivered to the table and getting attitude from the server when asked to replace it. When the food was delivered the two entrees were not hot enough and the chicken was overcooked (tough and rubbery). Then we did not see our server and had to get up to ask for a to go box for the pizza (the best of food items ordered). Much needs to be done to make this restaurant competitive if they want to remain in business.

Roma Italian Bistro, family owned and operated, is a refreshing addition to the West Monroe dining scene. Located conveniently near Antique Alley, locals can stop by for lunch/​dinner or have a drink at their full bar in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. You can choose to dine indoors or al fresco on the patio. Many local dining establishments are often closed on Sundays here and I was glad to see this place open!
For appetizers, we had the stuffed jalapeños and calamari. I really enjoyed the stuffed jalapeños and would recommend them. The flavor combination of the seasoned breading, red jalapeño, and creamy cheesy filling was executed well. The calamari was average and had a thin batter that was a bit on the salty side. The complimentary rolls were a pleasant surprise– save them to soak up the sauces in your entrees. The rolls were freshly baked, warm, buttery, crispy on the outside and soft yummy-​ness on the inside.
For the entrees, we ordered the spaghetti with meatballs and lobster ravioli. Both were good-​sized portions and there were plenty of leftovers. The spaghetti came al dente with a marinara meat sauce. The lobster ravioli came with a pink sauce, which was a combination of the marinara and Alfredo sauces. The lobster ravioli was quite tasty and I enjoyed it. The pink sauce was more on the rich and creamy side, which went well with those buttery rolls.
Be sure to save room for dessert! The tiramisu definitely hit the dessert spot– it was all sorts of cocoa/​coffee/​creamy marscapone goodness. Each bite tasted like a decadent drop from dessert heaven. If you like coffee and chocolate, then the tiramisu is for you! I’m too much in love with the tiramisu to want to try the other dessert options.
Service was attentive and welcoming. The management team was friendly and personable, checking in on patrons around the restaurant to make sure everyone was enjoying their dining experience. I really liked them going above and beyond with that personal touch, making it such a stellar night for us! I would definitely return and recommend Roma Italian Bistro to others.
