Cold Hotdogs! Their rolls for some reason doesn’t taste as fresh as other delis or 7 elevens and they are much more expensive than other grocery stores nearby. Coffee is unfortunately cold, and stale most of the time as well. I’ve never been back since and will probably not go back.

So after much anticipation, the latest Bergenline 7 – 11 finally has opened. Living 2 blocks away from the location and being subject to the inconvenience of not having a reliable source of groceries/snacks within reasonable walking distance, I couldn’t wait until it opened its doors or at least I thought. Although there is a QuikChek nearby it was a bit too far for me. Having a 24⁄7 convenience store 2 blocks away from my place was heaven on earth for me. REVIEW : Most of the 7−11s I’ve been to in my life were convenient, had a great variety of snacks/drinks/coffee, and had a mild mannered staff. Unfortunately this new location features none of those things. For being so big this location has a poor selection of drinks and snacks. They have a REALLY small refrigerated section. The only drinks they seem to have are cokes, snapples, and energy drinks. Where’s my Turkey Hill Green Tea and my Starbucks Frappacinnos? Their milk selection is also horrible. They only have one brand of milk and it’s generic. Where’s my Silk Vanilla Soy Milk or my Organic Whole Milk? This place just opened and the coffee self serve is already unkept. Don’t even get me started on the snacks. Seems like they really cheaped out for this location. It doesn’t have that warm, inviting atmosphere that most 7−11s or Wawas have. The girl at the counter seemed really annoyed when I realized I forgot to ask her for cigs and asked her after I paid for my things. Ugh. Is there anything worse than an employee with a chip on their shoulder? I was hoping for a one stop snack shop when I envisioned this place opening. Boy was I wrong. I guess I will have to go back to walking a couple of blocks and braving cold conditions and questionable characters to get to the QuikChek on Kennedy Boulevard. At least they have fresh sandwiches and a mammoth selection of snacks, drinks and coffee.
