I don’t eat at food trucks too often. I mean I’ve never had a bad experience at a truck… like ever. They always have some good quality food and stuff you won’t readily find available, but I don’t go to the meet ups… luckily I do visit breweries… a lot. And with breweries come food trucks… such was the case of how I found Out of Many Café. One of my favorite dishes ever… is oxtail. I remember my mother used to make this(she doesn’t make many dishes lol) and it would take her 2 days. She’d make this for me on special occasions like birthdays, and whenever I see it on a menu I order it. Luckily after a couple of beers my vision was still on point enough to spot this one the menu. There it was. In all it’s glory. Oxtail — $ 12. My tipsy salvation. I’m salivating right now thinking of it. The plate was HUGE with a generous portion of oxtails and rice. Now, they ran out of veggies and they apologized and asked if I still wanted it. Ummm, did they think I ordered this for the veggies? All jokes aside, it was very nice of them to ask, and as an added bonus he said they would throw in some extra pieces of tail in there for me since I was the last costumer of the night. I’ll take extra oxtail over a side veggies ANYDAY. The oxtail was perfect. Kinda different than how Cubans prepare it, but still delicious. The meat fell right off the bones, I don’t even think I got my hands dirty like I usually do when eating this. The rice was a huge serving and was also really good. I think it had peas in it? Maybe I imagined that. So if you are likely at a brewery — or I guess a good truck meet up — and come across this Caribbean truck, skip all others! I just hope they run out of veggies again next time I see them!

Second food truck experience. Amazing! This is a Caribbean style food truck. I ordered their jerk chicken club sandwich with fries($ 8) and my friend got the jerk chicken served with rice and peas($ 10). The chicken is smoked in pimento leaves, people. Seriously tasty and the most authentic jerk I have tasted outside of Negril. The portions were large and everything was delicious. The woman who took our order was friendly and is all about finding places to go and share their amazing food. The food truck biz doesn’t thrive in West Palm like it does in Miami it seems, but when there are trucks with food like this around they absolutely should. Absurdly good! You can find them on both Twitter and Facebook.
