Tried real hard to buy kitchen floor tile and have them install it. A nice woman helped me find the tile I wanted but there was only one guy that could write it up. He was dealing with a couple so I waited and waited. finally said I needed a key made, I said pls don’t take anyone else I would be right back. approached the key man and he «barked» at me that he was busy with another customer. 6 keys
was my turn. Of course he did not have the right blank. That could have been avoided
Back to flooring. The young guy was in a fork lift moving stuff. I said I was a «customer» and he told me his manager asked him to do this and I would have to wait. I was done. Walked to desk to find manager, Norman, but he was busy
This was Saturday morning about 11:00am and the store was empty. Not enough quality help. 45 minutes and did not spend a dime

In June I began a remodeling of my kitchen. I purchased a new refrigerator from Home Depot and they deliver.
The day of scheduled delivery I had living room cleared to kitchen as I knew they would need to remove doors from refrigerator to get it into kitchen.
First understand if you contract delivery with Home Depot it is another company who delivers it. I would ask for name of delivery company and do a check on them before I would buy from Home Depot. It might save you a lot of money and a whole lot of time and aggression. Ralph’s delivery is who delivered my frig.
They showed up with out any tools to do the job. Dented door of frig bringing it in (small) refunded $ 150.
During the process of putting doors back on frig. The delivery guy took it on himself to go into my carport and get one of my ladders. He moved both and leaned one against a post in front of my car. About two minutes after he came into house we heard a Big Bang in carport. The ladder was on the floor in front of my car. It had fallen on my new car. $ 1400 in damage. Headmitsmoving the ladder .
I was speaking with manager at HD on palm beach lakes at the time workers where I house. Was advised to do anything. Except fill a claim.
I ask to have this documented, the delivery guys refused to write it down. I had to sign. Don’t ever sign if they damage your property.
Their insurance company refuses to take any responsibility. I have two witness, no one cares .
I recommend research delivery company and video tape whole process.
I will more then likely have to pay for their mistake. I expected more from Home Depot. Lowes is my new home store. I will still video any one coming into my home.

The Home Depot was amazing, the staff there was helpful answered questions that Lowes could not or would not answer. Lowe’s only answer was buy a new one, The staff at Home Depot actually SHOWED me how to fix the problem BEFORE I had to buy a new one. GREAT experience.

This place is pretty good when you don’t need any assistance with anything staff based (except returns and check out)…you can expect to stand around in a department… not seeing any associates in or, the other three around it.
Maybe because the dolphins are playing?

its an okay experience. its a different floor plan than i am accustomed to, but it was okay. made it through, got what i needed, was on my way quickly. service was decent.
