West Palm Beach Plaza

The Plaza is really nice and spacious. I stopped there at around 9:30p so most of the eateries were already closed.
Only two were open at that time: DD and Burger King. That night shift at Burger King has to be the slowest, unfriendliest crew in the planet. I was waving to the worker in the back to remind her to cut my sandwich when another manager lady walked in front of me, looked at me and just kept walking. When she passed me, I told her, «Don’t mind me, I was waving at the other associate.» She still looked at me and said nothing… wow.
The Plaza get 4 stars but the Burger King gets 1 star. This is not a Burger King review but it does reflect on the Plaza.
The restrooms were well stocked and the travel sight-​seeing brochures were fully stocked. I did grab a few, even though I live in South Florida.
The Plaza is a newer construction so it is very well lit, to make it safer for everyone.

When I was younger, rest areas were small, stinky and not air conditioned and just a step above peeing in a port-​o-​let. Walking into this rest area let me know that times have changed!
There were ample parking spots and one is able to get back on to the Florida Turnpike going either direction. There is a gas station for cars as well as semi trucks and the main building of the rest area houses a good sized food court, a display case full of pamphlets advertising the local touristy spots, shopping malls and theme parks and clean restrooms.
There were plenty of bathroom stalls in the women’s bathroom and my dad said that it was the same experience in the men’s bathroom. There was a staff member in the bathroom ensuring the sustained cleanliness and they had sinks of varying heights for individuals with various needs as well as for children. As I said earlier, times have changed and it has changed for the better in regards to rest stops!

This is another well designed, well maintained, and well positioned service stop on Florida highway system, accessible from both north and south bound.
It has plenty if choice for meal, snack, and desert, and couple choices of gift shop in case you forgot to buy Disney gift for your pals. Pricing is not the best but it’s not highway robbery.
There’s also a kids designated area in good court and I’m sure parents would catch some breeze knowing that!
Bathroom — it’s very nice, and clean. I see cleaning crew all the time, and considering such large number of folks going though they keep the place clean and well stocked with TPs.

When I stopped at this turnpike service plaza for the first time I was impressed by how modern, clean and organized it is. There are even comfortable green and yellow couches at both the Northbound and the Southbound side and clear signs indicating each side in case you get confused… lol…The Sunshine Market offers local Florida merchandise and Brookstone products.
You can grab a quick bite at Earl of Sandwich, Burger King, KFC Express, Pizza Hut Express or Dunkin Donuts. The restrooms are immaculate. Your turnpike toll fees are put to good use here, friends! Bön voyage!

Very large plaza stacked with food stores and a large gas station to fuel up big rigs and regular commuters. The plaza Is clean and public bathrooms as well.
I will keep using them for our big car carriers to fuel up.

This is my second time stopping at this service station. Inside they have a large Brookstone gift shop (Sunshine Market). Besides candy, snacks, and books– they sell lots of state merchandise including clothes and specialty foods. The fast food consists of an Earl of Sandwich, Dunkin Donuts, KFC Express, Pizza Hut, and Burger King. There are also vending machines, including one for ice cream.
Sharing the same parking lot, there is a Shell gas station at this stop.
The restrooms are clean and everything looks new. Great stop when you gotta go!

My dad has been a truck driver for as long as I can remember. With that being said, I can honestly say that I’ve been to way more truck stops and «service plazas» than I’d like to admit! I’ve traveled the country by road and have seen some pretty disgusting ones, as well. This one, in comparison, is a huge breathe of fresh air. It looks more like a mall food court than what I remember from my trips with my parents back in the day. Pretty nice. Has to be one of the better ones around!

When we pulled up to the rest area, we were surprised by how nice it looks. Quite a bit of renovation, both inside and out.
Foodwise it’s mostly fast food, as expected. Pizzas, donuts, burgers and a fancier fast-​casual, Earl of Sandwich. Not much to write home about though seatings are plenty.
The shop is quite nice, selling everything from snacks (the more common ones plus some healthier options), Florida souvenirs (key lime flavored stuff, alligator, Disney…) to what you may need during your travel — sunglasses, UBS charger, sunscreen, hats, tees, maps, medicine…
There are also a lot of maps and pamphlets for visitors, helpfully separated by area. Not a bad idea to browse around, you may find some useful coupons or a new destination to visit!

This one of the new and improved rest stops/​service plazas on the Florida Turnpike. The restrooms are always clean, very spacious. Lots of stalls always available for us guys.
In the plaza itself there is usually a couple of places that have coffee available. Agee places to eat at, and of course the souvenir shop.
Gasoline is available, of course. Prices are competitively priced.

I realized a lot of the plazas have been revamped. They’ve been redecorated with updated bathrooms etc. I thought west palm was ok because the cleanliness wasn’t crazy. The individual options for napkins etc. were mostly empty. In addition, the outdoor area didn’t provide much for those with pets. However, they do have their stores and dunkin donuts. It’s not a bad stop, it’s just alright.

Nice plaza for a quick bathroom break. It’s alongside the turnpike so it is quick to stop in and out.

Who leaves a review at a plaza? ME! Ugh, beautifully renovated and the bathrooms were clean but the service at BURGER KING was beyond HORRIBLE!!! There’s nothing «fast» about this fast-​food place!
