We attended an event here last weekend. Lucky enough, we had the private upstairs room. Food was excellent, as was the service.
To start, we had salad and calamari. followed by sautéed veggies, pasta, chicken marsala, veal saltimbocca, and salmon. What a feast!!!
Coffee and tea was served with birthday cupcakes. We’ll be back to sample other menu items, as everything that we ate was great!!!

Use them for catering. Extremely pleased. Food is consistently good and fair priced. Some favorites: Chicken Francese, Salmon, penne Arrabiata, Short ribs, Eggplant Parm. Only one I didn’t like was the Chicken Arrabiata. Thought it would be like the penne but came in a broth that seemed like balsamic vinegar with potatoes, peppers, etc. Too liquidy.
Overall a big fan. Will continue to use.

I have ordered lunch… I’ve had events catered and also have eaten here… Never disappoints. Great service!!!
I love the pasta, the steak, the shrimp. Salads are so delish!
My favorite salad right now is the Baby green Asian pear, with grilled chicken over it. It is to die for…
I would recommend this place any time!

This place gets 1 star (would be 0 if I could) due to the rude attitude we got from the hostess upon walking in.(brunette, glasses). My family and I walked in on a Saturday night around 5pm and the restaurant was virtually empty. We asked if we could have 4+a high chair for my kid and we were told there was nothing — never mind the entire empty room to the right. They did offer a table that had a reservation for 630 — which ideally would be enough time for dinner but we can tell by the tone of the hostess that we would be rushed the entire time and she made no effort to try and work with us. I’ve wanted to come here for years and thought that it would be a good place to take my mother for an early Mother’s Day dinner, but I can say that I’ll never come back because of the hostess. I’ll give someone else my business.

I have been going to this restaurant for years. Have eaten there at least 50 times, some private parties, some lunch, some dinner, some outside catering. All have been perfect! Today I had a catered lunch for my company. I pulled it together in less than 24 hours. Frank was so accommodating. Ever bit of the food was spot on, as usual. You just can’t beat this place. Thanks again Frank! Another successful party.

Had an awesome meal. The calamari was very tender (most tender I’ve had in years) and the portion was a good size. Got homemade fettucini with vodka sauce which was phenomenal. The pasta texture was great and the sauce was very good– creamy and they put a lot of sauce. They had a risotto cake with shrimp and truffle and goat cheese my friends enjoyed. The rigatoni dish was also very good. It’s a bit farther for us, but we will definitely be back! Service was also good.

Came here for lunch. I ordered the grilled chicken panini with fresh mozz and roasted red peppers. The bread was crunchy and delicious. Cheese was great too. Not a fan of the seasoning on the chicken but all in all it was yummy. Big sandwich too. It came with a side salad and a great balsamic dressing. My dad and brother ordered hot meals that looked really good.
I ordered a cannoli for dessert and that was good too!
I’d come back for sure. Hard for me to really rate this place based on a lunch panini but I’ll rate it anyway!

Pretty good! I had the Penne all’arrabiata, which was delicious. Could’ve been a little more generous with the ingredients thrown in. Stuffed clams, calamari and mussel appetizers were also good. The lamb and steak special were a little tough. Veal milanese was well flavored but could’ve used a little more moisture, perhaps in a light sauce on the side. They were extremely accommodating with substitutions.

I am so disappointed to be writing this review, but here it goes. I went to this place last week with a large party. The experience could not have been more unpleasant (apart from the company, of course). The service was terrible (we had to request bread), they never filled the water glasses or even came by to refill them and the server disappeared after he took our order (which took him a good hour). It took forever for the actual food to come. Also, we ordered three large, family-style salads to start with and it took forever and when they did come, they were they tiny, anemic-looking salads. We were so disappointed and I was embarrassed. We had been there last year for a private party and the food was delicious, but last week they really missed the mark.

Great flavors and generous portions. Hubs loved their Vodka Penne w/Shrimp. He didn’t really care for his steak, though. I had the Puttanesca… not bad. Our other cousin had the veal… very tender and juicy. Prices were fair.
The restaurant is a bit on the smaller side and they rushed us out at the end. I understand that you’re trying to seat another party but we just barely paid the bill. Chill.

Love getting takeout from here! The meals come with bread and a salad and for the portion size, you can’t go wrong. I had chicken vodka rigatoni and the sauce was delicious! The proscuiotto in the sauce was a nice touch as well.

I recently went to Francesco’s for a private party and would definitely return again for a cozy dinner or takeout. The food was excellent, especially the penne vodka, the salmon, and the crusty bread. The service was a bit rough around the edges but you’re at an Italian place in Jersey so I guess it’s appropriate. In an area that’s kind of a restaurant wasteland, Francesco’s is a safe bet.

I’ve Ben here for parties and fixed menus. The salad and antipasti very good as was the penne vodka. That’s a hard dish to screw up. I forget which entrée I had so it must have been ok.
I stopped by on. Sunday a few weeks back for a light lunch. We sat outside as the inside was taken over for a party. We split an order of fried calamari, fresh delicious generous with a basket of warm bread. Then I had the pasta e fagiole and my friend has the strachietella a chicken and spinach soup that was homemade and delicious as was my «pasta fazool» really tasty and garlicky very filling it was a nice lunch. Service is fine and it’s local so I’ll be back.
This is not a BYOB and the prices are mid range to expensive but portions generous.

I went here for a wedding rehearsal dinner so it was a fixed menu. For starters the atmosphere wasn’t too bad and the bread and sun dried tomato oil were great. We were given penne vodka pasta and salad. They both were meh. I chose the chicken francese as my meal and although not «bad» I definitely had better in my day. The mashed potatoes were gross. The pastry desserts were decent. Overall this place was average at best.
