The salon is clean and the stylist are friendly and professional. I’ve been getting my hair cut with Vatsana for over 15 years and walk out loving my cut every time. I highly recommend Never Just Haircuts.

I’ve been coming to this salon for 20+ years & I’ve always had a great experience! Vatsana is great my hair always turns out looking great, plus their prices are very affordable compared to other salons in the Sacramento downtown area.

Worst experience of my life! Big mistake! I specifically asked if they were familiar with edgy, modern cuts as I was taking my teenage stepson for a hair cut. The haircut does look good but is not at all what he asked for. Also they were very unprofessional and disrespectful. I did not appreciate the remarks made to my stepson or the fact that she argued with him when he said it wasn’t what he wanted. I was shocked and I regret not telling her to shut up and leaving mid haircut, but I didn’t want to leave with his hair half cut! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy! And when she reads this she will know why I didn’t tip her. I shouldn’t have paid and I am furious she got my business! I will never make that mistake again! Oh and the atmosphere sucks! It’s so hard to find the rite hair salon. WELL STOP LOOKING. This is the spot to go to. I go to Vatslana and she’s amazing. She makes you feel at home and comfortable which is very important. It’s hard to go in nail/​hair salons without feeling rushed or them be rude to you. WELL I’ll tell you one thing it’s not like that with her. If your like me where you don’t trust just anybody with your hair then go to her she will ACTUALLY LISTEN to your needs and wants. I love my haircut from her. I highly recommend Beverly’s and Vatslana. I was so pleased with her. Definitely coming back for every cut/​dye. She also did an amazing job on my mother’s hair. As well as my 5 year old daughter’s. My daughter was so excited and happy with her experience there. She loved her! We walked out with smiles on our face. I feel like she can do anything.

Beverly and her staff do a great job. The shop is always clean and fun. The work is always top of the line and you get the cut that you ask for.

I just wanted to let everyone know about a little gem of a salon here in West Sacramento. Never Just Hair Cuts! I had the most wonderful experience there today! Vatsana gave me full highlights and a haircut. She did an amazing job and it was fast! (She’s been cutting hair for 17 years) Then Lilly gave me a pedicure that was heavenly! Also, the atmosphere and other employees were very friendly. I’m so happy to have found this place. I have been bouncing around to different stylists since we move to West Sacramento two years ago. I’ve found my home :)

Best salon ever ! Vatsana has been doing my hair for a few years now! She’s AWSOME with bleaching !! I know my hair is in good hands with her she’s a blonde girls best friend Bev the owner is so nice I love her !! She’s always got the cutest shoes on :) these ladies are the absolute best I wouldn’t go anywhere else they have a great variety of derives from tanning to nails as well !

I had gone to see Vatsana a couple of times– she was
pleasant and I was pleased with my haircuts. I went there today and said to her– remember I do not like a square shape to my bangs and sides of my hair. She says of course and proceeds to butcher my hair — cut the bangs short and square and chopped off the sides I had just spent 6 months trying to grown out. He did exactly what I asked her not to do. I told her I was unhappy when I left. She told me to come back. I did just that and told her again that she ruined my hair. She grabbed money from the register and thru it at me and said «here’s your money back.» — quite unprofessional?

I have been coming here for over a decade to get my hair cut and dyed by Vatsana. She is such a pleasure to talk to and I trust her with my hair. All I have to do is tell her what I’m thinking about and she always does an amazing job. I never leave disappointed. She is also an esthetician. I go to her for my waxing needs too. I have refereed her to all my friends. As long as she is cutting hair I will always go back to her.

I went to Beverly’s for the first time for a haircut and mani/​pedi. Lily did a great job on my nails my pedi is still looking great 9 days later.
I have naturally very curly hair that I have tortured with heat styling. I hate getting my hair cut because past hairdressers have never done a great job. I told Beverly exactly what I wanted and let her know my goals for my hair. She gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had and gave me great advice on improvements to my daily hair routine. She was a great listener and she clearly knows what she’s doing. My hair looks great!

It is a small place in west sacramento but they have amazing hair dressers and an awesome nail lady! Vatsana has always done my hair and I refuse to go anywhere else! she does the best color jobs and if you arent satisfied, she will fix it! Find comfort in coming here! you will not be disappointed!

I loves Bev’s!!! Bev has done my hair before and I loved it, but today I went in to see Lilly to get my nails done and it was amazing. She listened to everything I wanted and did a beautiful job. The price for a gel french tip is $ 35 but it’s ok cuz she doesn’t use cheap products. Love you guys! Will be making this my permanent nail spot.

Vatsana Did my 13 year old Daughter’s hair. She wanted a Hombre. Vatsana did her hair cut, colored and styled. It was beautiful. But because the color was not to my daughters expectations, Vatsana told her «come back, I will fix it» for no charge! She fixed it to make it a bit lighter. It was Beautiful. It wasn’t much of a drastic change but enough to make my Daughter Smile! Thanks you Guys are awesome! Maybe I will have enough balls go have someone touch my hair! :) haha

Its a really small shop with different with just two hair stylist and nail technician there. There are also tanning bed and other stuff that they do there.
The minute I stepped in I get seated and ready to start. Vatsana is always on time and she booked my appointment for enough time so that it doesnt feel like she rushing on my hair. I LOVE THIS PLACE ALREADY!
Vatsana talks to you like she’s family and she gets know you. Its just not a client to client deal when you walk in. Everyone greets you and everyone smiles! best part of feeling welcome.

THis place is located on capitol AVE. you might missed it if you drive too fast! worth the drive though.
