Walking into Captivity Photoworks one is immediately impressed with the fabulous photographs artfully displayed in the reception area. Your eyes are drawn to walk the wall, examining each and every one to admire not only the model /​subject, but the look, the lighting, the pose, and attitude expressed. Affable owner, Anthony Marinakos, is a talented professional. Behind the camera he will direct the shoot to get just the right look, poses and expression to bring out your best. Post Production or retouching, is likewise a talent at which he excels. He can make anyone look like a star! With a large studio area to work within, a variety of looks can be easily transitioned making the creative experience exciting and most enjoyable.

Very nice large and professional studio with a very nice high tech lobby. He is one of the few photographers to give direction while posing. You can learn to pose fairly quickly if you listen, ahem. I would say he is in the top 5 photographers I ever worked with out of 200. His rates range and can fit any budget. Remember editing is key to any great photo so be patient for those. He is timely and responsible. He is respectful and cares. This is a rare quality in this industry, believe me.

I went to Anthony with Captivity Photoworks for headshots after being disappointed with my pictures from another photographer in the past. Needless to say, I was very pleased with the courteous staff, and the picture quality was excellent. Anthony is Professional, easy to work with, and overall an excellent choice for photography in Los Angeles.
I highly recommend them. Their amazing portfolio really speaks for itself!
