Dunkin’ Donuts

The only DD store I know of that the customer is never right, especially in ordering at their drive thru. The employee rudeness is beyond just bad. I avoid this particular store when ever possible.

I had the sausage breakfast burrito and it was Excellent it said it was spicy but it was not overall it was really really good I ordered two of those

I went into dunkin donuts on Westfield st in west Springfield just before closing last night. I only had a $ 100 bill, and I ordered a vanilla chai. The girl said she had change, and handed me bills without counting them back to me. I put a dollar into the tip jar and then counted the money, without moving from the counter. She had only given me 77 dollars. I tried to get her attention but she had walked away before I could count the money. She came back when I was calling to her, and listened to me say that I was short the twenty dollars, and then walked away again.
I had pulled everything out of my pockets and put it on the counter next to the money. I thought she had gone to get someone who could open the drawer. I waited ten minutes, and a different girl walked out and asked if she could help me. I explained what happened, and she said that they had to wait until the manager came so that she could count the drawer and see if it was off. I asked her to check the cameras so that she could see that I never took any money and that she could see that the girl gave the wrong change. She said that only a manager could do that as well. I left my name and number and went home.
Today I called the store and asked them about the situation, the assistant manager told me that the manager had counted the drawer and it wasn’t off. I asked him if they checked the cameras and he said no. He told me that there was nothing they could do.
This really bothered me, as I am not a thief or a liar. It’s not about the amount of money I was shorted, it was more about the girl disappearing and not telling me what was going on. It’s frustrating when there’s nobody to talk to about it. I never got a call back, they just assumed I was lying.
I won’t step in that store again. Awful experience.
