Mel is the best! This is a guys place end of story. True, they are not «barbers» but they do specialize in men’s hair styles and they are very affordable. The hot towel treatment and vibrating neck massage at the and makes for a very relaxing experience.

What a great find. Nestled in a strip mall off Robert street in West Saint Paul is the perfect place for men to receive a professional haircut at a low price. Walking in I was instantly greeted and could not help notice the huge appointment book. Thankfully they accept walk ins. I did not even sit down before Emily arrived. There are ten individual chairs divided by wooden walls for privacy. The place was busy but I did not hear anyone. This alone is refreshing. I did not have my haircut while someone was discussing politics! Emily cut my hair exactly how I requested. To my surprise she washed my hair without me moving to a different part of the shop. A warm towel was wrapped around my face as she washed my hair. After she used a massage device on my back and neck. A relaxing and refreshing experience. The price was the biggest surprise. $ 12 cash or $ 12.50 credit card. Best haircut value in the cities. There is a television on in each stall. Parking is in the strip mall lot. This barbershop has been in business for five years and I hope it’s around for many more years. Check out this Barbershop.

Been coming to the WSP location since they opened and in my opinion it’s been going downhill. It’s name should change to The Barbershop A Salon for kids, disassociated parents of rambunctious kids, and people with appointments. If you walk in on any day (not just prime time) without an appointment expect to wait a while; Seems the entire scheduling has shifted to appointment only. The staff is friendly. The place is nice. But it’s not at all what the name implies or what it used to be.

This place is not a Barber Shop. The person that cut my hair was not a licensed barber. And she didn’t really seem to know what she was doing.
If you want a good haircut, try a real barbershop. I felt this place is deceptive.

This place is so awesome for haircut, the lady (Mel) who cuts mine is very nice and also perfect;y knows the art of hair-​cutting. You also get a free head –wash and massage which is so nice and soothing.
I go here everytime. must recommended.

This was the first time we’ve come here, though they’re conveniently located for us.
My son was in dire need of a haircut. I usually do it myself, and neither of us really wanted that.
We didn’t even have to wait after I signed in, which was nice on a Friday after work.
The young lady (Emily) who cut my son’s hair was nice, quick, professional and long suffering. My son wasn’t a problem, yet I could tell that she could probably handle a screaming child. Emily engaged in conversation and turned on the television towhat my son wished to watch during the cut.
We are all happy with the results and will be back again. The cut was only $ 11, which I found surprisingly cheap. Then again, it was a male haircut. Men do seem to get off pretty cheaply when it comes to personal care.
