Boston Ski + Tennis

Super helpful service! Went in to get my racket restrung and they pointed out a giant crack in my rim. Rather than trying to take advantage of me and hard selling a new racket they offered to let me take home two demos. Afterward they let me buy the used demo at a price way within my budget (starving medical student budget). So happy with the result. Will definitely return!

I am not sure why I had not been inside the store prior. But when I needed my ski’s tuned I thought it was the closest location so I called. They took my skis and helped me get them back for my same day departure to the mountain. But what struck me was getting helped just the same had I bought the skis there. I was acknowledged walking through the door and was taken care of really quickly and the staff was very engaging.
During my trip my bindings fell apart. Finding out they were a dealer for Marker I went to see if they had advice. Without waiting Brandon inspected my bindings taking both apart to see what the issue was and offered to call and next day them to the Marker. While I waited I was shown some equipment I was meaning to review and there was no pressure. I have to say that I am very impressed with the effort in advance to have me as a customer. I did not have a shop until that experience. Honestly I walked in with an issue that was not theirs and they just offered to get me back on my skis. I highly recommend any shop that has this customer service mindset.
Other places could have said call where you bought it or buy new bindings… I like my skis and I now am a fan Boston Ski & Tennis! Enough to run home and write a review and play it forward.

I’ll admit I was skeptical the first couple of times I visited Boston Ski + Tennis, but now I am definitely a fan. The folks here definitely know what they are doing, and they are super friendly on top of that. My only complaint is that the apparel selection is a bit limited, but what they do carry is high quality.
Tony blew me away with his boot fitting prowess. I dread buying ski boots because it was such a difficult process last time — trying on multiple pairs of boots, squeezing your poor feet in and out of constricting boots, tight spots, sore spots, not supportive enough, too stiff… you get the idea. But, Tony has gone through an extensive certification process to fit and recommend the best boot for your foot and skiing ability. After spending five minutes sizing and sizing up my feet, Tony brought out one pair of boots. ONE. But they were perfect. I had him bring out another pair just for comparison, but as soon as my feet hit the footbed, I knew they were all wrong. The first pair was practically made for my foot, and Tony knew it. He was able to explain why I was having the challenges with fit and comfort I was having, and he reassured me that those problems would most likely end with these boots. I was one giddy customer.
Nancy was wonderful recommending gloves and base layers. The tuning team had my skis ready to go several days earlier than promised. What more can I say to convince you to check this shop out?

While having dinner in the same plaza as Boston Ski & Tennis I figured I would stop in just to check out what the store has to offer. Ever since my first visit two years ago I have been hooked. I’ve never been disappointed in their service or in the selection of merchandise they carry.
I was fortunate enough to meet the buyer of the store, Avery and she is such a pleasure to deal with. The entire staff has been extremely helpful, friendly and not to mention they are very knowledgeable in the items carried at the store. Avery definitely went above and beyond for me as she helped explain in detail the importance of choosing the right fitting helmet, buying the right travel bag for my ski boots, picking out the perfect ski bag and back pack. On top of all of that– she also gave me helpful tips while traveling with my ski gear and advice on what to wear on the mountain such as wool socks and absolutely no cotton.
I have purchased multiple items here– all quality at great prices. I’ve been to other ski shops in the Westborough and Worcester area, but this shop has exceeded my expectations time and time again. No matter who is working and regardless of the time– rest assure you will be greeted with a warm smile and attentive service. One more reason why I love this place— They are not trying to sell you everything and anything. They know their stuff and do not push you to buy unnecessary junk. If you haven’t figured it out yet… I am definitely a fan and will be back anytime I need something ski related.

They have great service. Each time we’ve gone, the service is prompt, intelligent, friendly and they remember familiar faces. Recently we ordered an XS helmet for my daughter who participates in the ski ward racing team. She needed it tomorrow for a race — rules insist on hard sided helmets.
They realized they wouldn’t have it, and they knew we needed it, so they got us one from framingham — meaning they drove to framingham to get it for us and they charged us the price they would have for the one we ordered even though this one was more expensive. Really great service.
