First time there this week. Food was delicious. And portions were large. Definitely good bang for your buck. I’ll go again!

Delicious sushi and a fun place to go for a GNO. Can get pricey if you go for the specialties items and cocktails instead of just simple dishes.

Went here for a weekday lunch. The buffet looked decent and the price was right. It ended up to be exactly that, decent. The buffet had some standard Korean fare(bulgogi, spicy pork bulgogi), and some fried rice, clear noodles, sweet & sour chicken, dumplings, and some maki rolls. Good way to try a variety of dishes. Would I come again? May be, but next time I may pay a little more and order off the menu.

Called in a order for a chirashi bowl and the waitress corrected me saying it was a chirashi plate. When i came to pick up the order, the food was served in a bowl. The chirashi«plate» was ok, the sashimi on top wasn’t the freshest of fish. You could tell they stored it really cold temperature to keep longer. This place was mediocre, can’t really trust a place that serves two different types of Asian food.

Love it here! Food always comes out fresh and sizzling, the waitstaff are very courteous and attentive, I love the sampling platter they give you with some meals. Atmosphere here is beautiful too, great for a date night.

I frequently order from Sapporo. Every time is amazing. I must admit I primarily order sushi. The Deluxe platter is always generous and FRESH. I pair it with the seaweed salad appetizer. The salad and soup included make this a super meal! I have been to the buffet and enjoyed amazing food until I’m stuffed! My kids love the cooked sushi and teriyaki chicken. A few nights ago I stopped in for takeout and stayed at the bar for a beer. I think it’s the only restaurant I’ve been to with Sapporo on tap! Love it! The bartender was so friendly too. Everyone raves about the Mai Tai’s. They are superb! Love this place. So glad to recommend it highly!!!

I’ve gone here ever since the place has opened and I have to say it’s one of the best Korean restaurants in Westborough. There isn’t much selection of korean places compared to Boston and their menu has probably everything you would expect. I remember the menu being a lot larger and they’ve definitely minimized their selection since. I love their sushi(spicy tuna, and caterpillar) are good and fresh. Korean BBQ is great(you have to order 2 of the dishes in order to do BBQ, each being around $ 20), except I feel like they give you a little bit less than what’s expected. The waiter does all the grilling for you. Great find in Westboro, if you want something a little special try the nacho appetizer dish that’s completely blanking from my mind, and ask for the dessert menu! Who doesn’t like Asian-styled ice cream?

Amazing Korean dishes. Went in on a Friday evening and were seated in no time. Service was fast and efficient. The kimchi was just perfect. I ordered the bibimbap with chicken and it was fantastic. Would surely come in here again.

Went here for dinner and it was packed! Quite the popular place. Had their bibimbap which was quite good. The employees were all very concerned that I didn’t know how to eat it with the raw egg, which was kind of nice, but a little overwhelming since several employees kept bringing it up. Perhaps they have had issues in the past. Either way, still enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much that I went back for the lunch buffet which is great! The Japchae does have an interesting flavor, but the variety of food options is really good. I especially like their spicy pork!

I do enjoy Sapporo’s sushi and find myself here whenever I’m in town. Typically, the sashimi has always been fresh. I love the Hawaiian roll and my boyfriend loves the Crispy Philli-Cali roll. Their mai tai’s are pretty exceptional and there is always a special roll available to change things up. We have had some issues with service. Most recently, our server changed halfway through our dinner without ever being told. We sat for over 30 minutes until we found grabbed another waiter, wondering why our waitress was nowhere to be found and our food still missing. Apparently she told the new server that we had food coming… or that we were one of her table’s. Pretty poor service for such a well known restaurant.

My coworkers and I came here for lunch a few weeks ago, because where can you go wrong with all-you-can-eat sushi? Well, there’s a lot of ways to go wrong with that, but thankfully Sapporo wasn’t that kind of place. You’re not paying for high-end sushi, and you don’t get it. At $ 12 for a lunch buffet, you get what you pay for. The sushi was restocked often, as was the hot food: pork, sweet and spicy chicken, the normal. The only issue I had here was that while everything on the hot aisle was well-labeled with what it was, nothing in the sushi area was labeled. I had to track down someone, no easy task surprisingly, to ask what was in each of the sushi rolls. As it turns out, most of them contained crab, which I’m glad I asked about as I cannot eat crab. Quality-wise the sushi was ok, maybe a little mushy, but for the price you pay it’s a good deal. All in all, if the price was higher, the number of stars would be lower, but there’s a limited number of places one can go and get buffet sushi that won’t make you sick, at a reasonable price. I’d return.

We were in the area recently, and ordered sushi(take-out) from Sapporo. The Sweet Potato Roll tasted great, but the sweet potato was not fully cooked and a bit crunchy. The Mexican Roll was great; could have been a bit spicier. The Hama Crunch Roll was covered in greasy fried scallions, but once uncovered, was OK. And the Spicy Crunchy Tuna Roll was OK, just very mushy and not very fresh. All in all, an average experience. The food tasted good, but just some flaws in the execution.

I was absolutely astounded by the wonderful experience I had at Sapporo. I ventured out after one of the many Massachusetts blizzards of 2015 hungry for some exploration. I wound up at Sapporo for a late lunch. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful, offering recommendations and checking in every few minutes to make sure our food was well received. I ordered a salmon roll and Ikura sashimi to begin my meal and was delighted by the quality that I received. The sushi chef set my Ikura in a hollowed lemon(with a little umbrella) adding both taste and atmosphere. My salmon roll sat next to the lemon sculpture arranged in the shape of a pyramid. The quality of the fish and ingredients was top notch, complimented by the expert presentation. For my main course I had the standard stone-bowl beef bibimbap. As with most bibimbap dishes, this was as much fun to watch cook as it was to eat. The vegetables were fresh and bowl was able to cook my raw egg quickly. The only thing I would have added is a tiny bit more beef on top of it all. All things considered, I simply will have to try this place again. 10⁄10 will recommend.

Had sushi here again with my son the other night. We tried a special roll called CANDYCRUSH. It was great. We also had the green monster. I have never been disappointed with anything at Sapporo and the Mai tais are delicious!

My wife and I eat here regularly and tonight she said to me that this is the best Korean BBQ she has ever eaten, and it dawned on me how retrieval that is! Mind you, she’s been to Korea a couple times and we both eat Asian a LOT, so this should be considered high praise. The bulgogi Is terrific, in both the pork and rib-eye form(I greatly prefer the pork), the sides seem to be home made, and the drinks are yummy! Oh yea, and the sushi is pretty darn good too! Try the TEK-Hama roll !! Last, the manager(Valera) used to wait on us and was outstanding, but apparently has risen to run the place(a well deserved promotion, as he’s out and about making sure the customers are happy!) and out new favorite waitress Louisa was training tonight but did an outstanding job listening to our requests and satisfying the special drink requests! Great Resturant! Enjoy!!!

This was off the Kimchi chain! If you like spicy then you might want to recheck your game with this situation. This will put your tastebuds to the flame of flavor. Recommended by the nice waiter with an honest suggestion and endless side dishes, make sure you buy an extra roll of toilet paper prior to your visit. I got the spicy pork dish and it did not disappoint. This is why I love to travel so I can hit up these hidden gems in the heart of planet earth.
