Beach Pizza

I really wanted to like this place, I really did.
I bought a philly cheesesteak along with a slice of pepperoni pizza.
The pizza was good, the philly cheesesteak lacked taste. I asked for jalepanos in there and they tasted old, so i ended up just picking them out.
I was also a little turned off because I saw chicken sitting out in their kitchen. Both chopped up and full breasts just sitting on the counter, unrefrigerated.
The price was good, but they should put a little more effort in having their food taste better. And they should also refrigerate their meats, that’s just gross.

This is ok pizza. The taste/​flavor was nothing special. I’m more of a crispy crust kinda guy, so if you’re more of a floppy crust then it’s your type of pizza. Had their delivery for the first time and it was actually hot and the delivery guy was pretty funny for our 3min interaction.

Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Medium size pizza is plenty big enough for 2 people. Crust is just thin enough… Not too thin. I’m not sure what all the negativity in the previous reviews is about. That wasn’t our experience. Out pizza was fresh, hot and delicious. Larry, the owner is an awesome guy and treated us very well. The place is immaculately clean. Definitely worth a visit and we will be coming back next time we visit Venice Beach.

Best pizza I have ever tasted. My favorite pizza is the Surfer. I usually go during lunch and have tried their pastas (their carbonara pasta is to die for!), sandwiches (chicken parmigiana) and salads. I honestly think their salad dressing has crack it’s soooo good! Service is always good, as well. Our server always greets us with a smile and is very attentive. :) I always forget his name but he is a tall and big guy with an accent. Good job dude!

Pizza came pretty fast… Blonde with shrimp, no consistency in the crust! Some slices thin crust others regular! It taste eh… Won’t be back!

Pretty good pizza… I can only attest to the delivery pizza-I’ve never sat in the restaurant. My only complaint is that the pizza is never steaming hot when it arrives… maybe just warm. A little pricey also.

Only took ten minutes while I waited there to make the pizza. Very fresh ingredients and man the sausage is great.

We love this pizza. We use Eat24 for delivery because we don’t live in the area of Beach Pizza so sometimes the pizza arrives a little on the cold side, but that’s not the pizza place’s fault. The sauce is delicious.

My go-​to was the buffalo chicken when I worked in the area. Such a cheesy pizza and great consistency.
The wait can get long for both dine in and takeout so keep that in mind. Also parking is somewhat inconvenient in the small garage.
Definitely worth a try!

The quality of their pizza is not very fresh. The pizza sauce is actually seasoned really well and the garlic knots are yummy. The staff is friendly and the service is professional. Overall the pizza is great for a last minute gathering or sunday football, and the location is also convenient. The pizza is not anything special and I wouldn’t drive out of my way to get Beach Pizza, considering theres several other pizza places in the area that serve amazing pizza.

Mmmm… not too slow of delivery on a Thursday night.
Ordered a Large extra cheese pizza with half pep & sausage.
It was delicious! Plus, they carry Rod’s Ranch dressing which I feel goes the best with pizza, wings, etc.
Wings were decent, just not a whole lot of meat on them.
Enjoyed the mozza sticks, but they weren’t served as warm as I’d like.
I would definitely order pizza from here again!

Dropped by to eat lunch at this nice little pizza shop. It’s located at the busy intersection of Lincoln and Manchester. There’s no parking in front of the restaurant, but I think there’s parking inside the building. I’m not sure because I walked here. The service was friendly and so were the store patrons. There are TV’s overhead with sports on to entertain while eating your lunch.
I had a small deep dish pizza with pepperoni and sausage. The small pizza was 10″ with 6 slices. It was just enough for two people to eat and be full. Right out of the oven the pizza was pretty good. The deep dish crust was okay, but the cheese very good. The pizza was certainly better than average. It’s better than the chain pizza shops around town.
Food = good (above average)
Seating area = very clean
Service = friendly
Restroom = very clean

I’ve been coming here for quite some time. I am here every other week after some work outs at the gym next door.
When you walk in you’ll notice it’s a rather large establishment. There are 4 tvs hooked onto a pretty good sound system… It does have some bumps! Lol good space to walk around without worrying about bumping in to someone or invading their personal domain.
This place never disappoints. The pizzas are delicious. Their pizzas are pretty reasonably priced as well. I’d pay their $ 20.75/Large pizzas any time over $ 5 medium pizzas at Domino’s.
When I come by to eat, I am always greeted by the sweet waitress that works around 9ish pm. Idk her name but she has a nose ring, light skin tone and black hair. Very nice! The staff is always on their A-​game and the food is usually brought in within 8 minutes.
Food: I always order the warm chicken Caesar salad and The Manhattan, Man Pizza. Never ever disappoints.

Tasty pizza, good prices and friendly staff. I came here with a friend and we shared a medium pizza and somehow managed to eat it all. We got their thin crust and while it did have some floppiness, the sauce didn’t soak all the way through and get my hands gross when eating it. Tasty crust, good fresh toppings and nice flavor. I would come here again.

My husband and I used to love this place, but we’ve noticed the quality of the food and service go way down in the last 6 months. Finally, after our experience this evening, we will not be calling them again.
Our order was simple: a medium pepperoni pizza, some wings and a salad. We were told it would take 45 minutes. After waiting for over an hour, we called and were told our order was on its way.
20 minutes later (and more than 90 minutes after our original phone call), the food arrived… cold. The delivery guy was completely checked out. He couldn’t figure out our door buzzer and then had no words of apology or even some semblance of general politeness. He simply prattled on about needing a credit card to charge us.
Needless to say, we gave the cold pizza back to him. This evening, we settled for a healthier bowl of soup from the can instead.

Great stop to grab a bite to eat with the kids.
Atmosphere:
The place has a very chill beach vibe. They have an outdoor seating area where you can sit if you want to watch traffic at the massive intersection of Lincoln and Manchester. It’s actually not bad, to sit outside. Inside they have about ⁴⁄₅ TVs running the same game. I’m sure they would have changed it if I asked.
Food:
The Pizza was really good. I didn’t expect it to be with all the low reviews. They had fresh ingredients and the bread knots were decent. The knots were on the smaller and oily side of things, but it was ok. They give you small sides of sauce if you ask… our table was loving the ranch that night. :)
Service:
That 4^th star goes to our waiter. Mavrick, who was amazing! Dealt with the specific pizza order of the girls and their indecisiveness. He was all smiles and knew how to understand what the girls wanted before I did. He even made sure to cut the slices into more pieces so that the younger girls didn’t have to handle large slices — Totally appreciated that!
Parking:
There is a structure that is hidden behind the shops on Lincoln. It’s free and they have a quick 20 minute parking too if you just want to grab your pie to-​go.

Warning … Do not fall for the Unilocal Check-​in Deal of 20% off orders over $ 20. It’s either bogus, a mistake, or a marketing fail. I was curtly told «they don’t honor the deal for customers anymore» with an expression like I was being rude for even asking to use their own deal.
This problem was reported by Emilio in January and other Unilocalers earlier, but, sadly, I didn’t check the reviews until already driving over to Beach Pizza and being told «Nope. Not gonna honor it.»
The pizza has always just been average at Beach Pizza, but since it is one of the closest restaurants to my house that offered a Unilocal Deal, we were fans in supporting a local joint. I guess those days are over. Instead of a whole Beach Pizza pie with the advertised discount, I got a single cheese slice for $ 2.94 that would hold me over until I drove to another place. That pizzeria had no problem completing my order for a large pizza, order of wings, and a salad for dinner and even offered their best coupon deal without hesitation.
So, ya, I guess my days of trusting businesses to honor Unilocal Check-​in Deals are over … And so are the days of me making any effort to buy a pizza, sandwich, or appetizer from Beach Pizza.

I dont get it?
I have come here so many times for my pizza fix or when I need to feed a kids birthday party. Beach Pizza has never disappointed me or my family. They offer great tasting pizza at a decent price.
So whats the problem? Here is how it went down:
I checked in and up comes a 20% coupon for purchases of $ 20 or more. I’m thinking «cool!». I show it to the girl working the counter at 7 pm 01÷18÷14 who looks at my phone and says «oooh my boss says we dont use Unilocal anymore. We cant accept your coupon.»
Hmm okay…
I find your business on Unilocal (check), I able to check in (check), Im writing this review about you for others to read (check). I think you are using Unilocal mija.
This to me is some shady «Bait & Switch» BS team. I come in expecting a discount only to have it denied.
So either the girl was actually following order from her boss or Unilocal didn’t get the memo that Beach Pizza no longer requires their service, regardless of who dropped the ball, Im stuck paying full price.
Ill try the other Pizza joints in the neighborhood until this matter gets cleared up.
Someone do me a favor… If you check in and the 20% discount comes up and it’s honored please hit me back. Id really like to know if maybe I was treated «special». Thanks.
