I go to see Nina deep there and I’m very happy with her. However, I have to complain about the front desk lady named Wendy. I have had to unfortunately deal with her on several accounts and everytime she is very rude and nasty which makes for a very uncomfortable doctors visit.

My eyesight had been steadily declining since I got glasses in 2001. Between the glasses and the contact lenses, it’s been a whole ordeal… dealing with putting in/​removing the contacts, updating my prescriptions, eyes drying out from the contacts, paying ridiculous amounts of money for glasses, etc. I came to Dr. Beran because my husband had PRK (different type of eye surgery) years ago, and he did an excellent job for him.
The initial exam is free. You’ll see several technicians and get multiple tests done before you see the doctor. They also have you watch a video of Dr. Beran explaining the procedure. The people are all nice, and treat you like they’ve known you forever. They do a thorough exam, and when you finally see Dr. Beran, he’ll tell you if you qualify for LASIK, and answer all of your questions.
I scheduled my LASIK and the surgery was a breeze…45 seconds for each eye. All I can say is, I have my life back. No more dealing with contacts and looking like a geek with glasses. It is awesome! I can now read close and far away with no assistance… not even readers.
You might be shocked at what LASIK costs, but if you add up the cost of contacts, glasses, new prescriptions, etc. over the years, it will end up paying for itself. DO NOT go to those LASIK centers that offer deals on LASIK. Seriously, would you bargain-​shop for eye surgery?!!
Dr. Beran is who the other doctors go to for LASIK. I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

My wife came in and got her eyes fixed here without any issues. She liked the doctors and felt at ease during the surgery. Some places used to allow people to watch but they don’t here. They were about 20 minutes behind schedule the first day.
I have no complaints for this place other than their commercials which seem to be on TV way too often. And No, we didn’t come here because of those, we came here because our eye doctor sent us here. Maybe they could lower the price and not do any commercials. I thought the price was a bit high as it was a few hundred under $ 4000.
