Nice little park for walking the trails & getting back to nature. It’s not very busy which its really nice as well, though the larger trail paths will be helpful if/when there are more people here. Since I live a bit closer to this park than some others I hope to visit on a more regular basis now that it’s getting warmer out.

Visited this park for the first time today. I was quite impressed. The trails here go through a very pretty setting and they are nice and easy to walk through, the main loop is over a mile but under two, I believe. The path is nicely made and wide enough for several people to walk together comfortably. This is a well maintained and seemingly little-traveled park, and I have a feeling I will be returning with my family fairly often during good weather. The reason this park gets 4 stars and not 5 is their lack of signs with maps… for a first time visitor it is all about chance and choice deciding which paths to take. We didn’t know where we were or how much longer the trails were. However, the many offshoots of the main loop that go across the middle and wind their way around do offer lot of variety for returning visitors to not always see the exact same landscape.

A fine park with very nice and clean restrooms. The essence of the place seems to be a walking trail of 1.8 miles in a loop around a donated wooded property. Several benches are along the way with fine little lookout points over streams and babbling brooks. I’ve spotted wild turkey here on a few walks, which makes one feel close to nature, while really walking on a manufactured path of finely ground gravel which probably killed like a thousand animal habitats when they mined the gravel across the county. Oh well. Nevertheless, the walk around is just nice. If you have to drive somewhere to go walking, then this is a fine place to do it. Luckily, I live two miles away and can just walk there, too.
