Owner is super friendly, every time I go in there I leave thinking wow that guy is really nice. Customer Service counts a lot in my opinion, food is very tasty! He made a seriously good looking pizza last time I ordered(see picture to be wowed).

I’ve been going to Sandrino’s almost once a week for months now. I usually get the Veal Parm sub. I think it’s the best in the area. I’ve ordered the cheeseburger sub a few times, I thought that was good too. Super friendly service.

Ordered delivery from here last night– received a phone call from them that their delivery person had just gotten in to an accident and wouldn’t be able to deliver our food. They asked if we could drive down to get it. We asked if we could cancel the order(we had placed it online) and were told, «but it’s already been made.» They weren’t going to offer any sort of a discount– we had provided a tip and paid a delivery fee– and we had to ask for that back. The food was nothing special, service wasn’t great, and we won’t be returning– ever.

Update on Sandrino’s: now under new management. Tried the pizza, one plain(that’s a cheese pizza in New England), one Margarita, and one Greek. Important to note that the new folks do pizza Greek-style, which means in a shallow pan. Like Westford House of Pizza. So, here’s the run down. Plain pizza, very good, enough sauce and cheese. Margarita pizza, kinda odd, had sliced tomatoes, but not fresh sliced mozzarella. They use regular shredded mozzarella. Okay, but not what I was expecting. Greek pizza, excellent, good amount of spinach and right amount of feta cheese. Definitely will be getting this again. So, good on the pizzas, 2 out of 3 ain’t bad.

I recently moved to Westford and I’ve tried every pizza place. This is hands down the best pizza in Westford. Got a new owner in the fall of 2014 and he’s doing a great job with pizza, salads, and subs. I keep it simple with a large cheese pizza and it’s always delicious. The grilled chicken salads are huge and hit the spot. Reasonable prices and great food!

Pulled up to this restaurant early on a Sunday night — the«open» sign was lit, the hours of operation posted on the door showed that they *should” be open — but they were closed. Get your act together, Sandrino’s!

I attempted to get a sub at 12:30 on a wednesday, there had to be 15 people waiting for their order which tells me very slow service. I went there today for a sub on a friday, only one other person there, it took them forever to make my 2 cold cut subs. The cheese is sliced so thin that I didn’t think there was any on my sub, i finally found a tiny slice. I only got one slice of ham for thickness, it really needed 2 slices each, it seemed like I was eating tons of sub roll and not enough meat and cheese. Subway subs are ten times better than here. They also could have used some heat in the room, I wanted to eat there, but it was pretty cold.

When I was younger and needed a meal on-the-go, I took a trip to one of many local submarine sandwich shops in the area. Every city had a few local sub shops. Sub shops were easier to find than, say, no surcharge ATM machines. They still are in Westford, MA. With several sandwich shops within a 5 mile radius of my Westford office, I found one that has something in common with the sub shops of my youth. Sandrino’s makes their subs with Piantedosi french rolls –way out here, closer to the NH border than to the Piantedosi Baking Co in Malden, MA. Sandrino’s has my go-to menu choices: speedy cold subs like an Italian cold cut sub with pickles, lettuce and tomatoes; quick hot subs like a meatball parm, toasted with provolone. They also do pizza, calzone, wraps, wings, fries, and other sides. There’s a big flat screen TV and 4 or 5 relatively clean eat-in booths if you want to stick around. Service is quick, prices are decent. The clincher for me is the Piantedosi bread. Piantedosi’s is not the greatest, but it is a taste of home. Just because they’re local, don’t take these rolls for granted. I’ve ordered deli sandwiches around the country and have been disappointed by sub-par bread choices, only increasing my appreciation for these simple baked gems. You can keep your Dutch Crunch, Sourdough, Russian Rye, and 9-Grain Wheat in the breadbox. I’ll go for Piantedosi bread at Sandrino’s in Westford.

Pizza & sub joint on Littleton Road, right near the exit 32 I-495 interchange and all of the businesses that have sprung up in the area. Stopped in while in a hurry. Clean, fast and friendly and at least one of the tables had a convenient power outlet that I was able to use when geeking out while waiting for my order. Ate a gyro in the shop and carried out a small pizza that they had called out explicitly on their overhead menu — Chicken, garlic, spinach & red pepper flakes. The gyro was fine and used an excellent soft & warm type of bread/pita. Pizza was spectacular. Sad that I only ordered the small version.
