They moved to The Lakes in Thousand Oaks. Food and service is still top notch! Check it out!

«Returned» to 9021pho at their newer Ventura County location at The Lakes next to the convention and arts center. They were hopping and did a fantastic job! Still LOVE their Spicy ‘N’ Sour Phở but was way short on the seafood!!! Celebrated a birthday and snagged a «bar» table. Service was remarkable!

If u consider hot water noodles and two pieces of meat real phở. Youve never actually had it then. By far the biggest let down in a long wile. Was so excited to finally get a phở place in town but was miserably disappointed. It just goes to show that a clever name and fancy décor don’t always make a good restaurant

Don’t bother trying to order for delivery at lunch time. The phone just rings and rings. What a joke.

Service here was excellent. Food was also very good — I got the phở Bo(beef phở), which had a different kind of broth than the place I usually go to in Reseda. I also got a tea because my throat wasn’t feeling so great and the tea was awesome. It was the chysanthenum tea(I’m sure I spelled that wrong) and it’s worth the $ 4 or so they charge. It comes in a pot over a warmer(pretty cool) and free refills. Very relaxed place to grab a late dinner. We arrived at maybe 8pm and it was super chill. Honestly, the wait staff was great without being too attentive — I even mentioned the tea was great and he brought me a cup to go as well. I’d definitely come here again BC they were awesome.

Walked into this restaurant because I liked the name and because I could not find another Vietnamese restaurant nearby my hotel. Fast and friendly service, with a wide menu in a very nice restaurant space — however, the food was overall just average. The beef phở special was pretty good, but other than that, the other menu items(I.e. the rice and meat dishes) did not meet my expectations, particularly given the price. For example, I ordered the special Vietnamese beef dish(cubed beef with brown sauce and pepper) and it tasted saltier and sweeter than I expected. Unfortunately, the rice was also dry. This place is fine if you have a craving for phở and there are no other alternatives. However, if there are other«hole-in-the-wall» type Vietnamese restaurant options available, I would probably pass on this place.

This is a very acceptable Phở place, especially given its unique presence in the area. Their menu is basic and straight to the point with everything pretty americanized. This is fine if you’re the person who likes tacos but has no desire to try tripas or lengua. I love the fact that they have an option to lower the carb by adding more meating and taking out some of the noodles. Good job keeping up with the trends.

I guess I am too used to eating at dirt cheap phở restaurants… but if I’m paying $ 10 for a regular sized bowl of phở, it had better be the best damn phở I’ve tasted. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case. I had the Phở Bo, and it was just okay. The beef was kind of tough, and the broth was nothing to write home about. The noodles were pretty good, but overall the bowl was not worth the price. And why isn’t there rare beef on the menu?! I thought that was a staple for phở. We also redeemed the Unilocal deal of a free spring roll. It was okay; very fresh tasting, but I needed to drench it in sauce to give it more flavor. The restaurant itself is nice and modern enough, and I like that they have such a big tea selection. Basically, if you don’t have a problem with heavily Westernized and overpriced phở, you might actually like it here. I would rather go somewhere else to satisfy my phở craving, though. Food: 3, Service: 3, Ambiance: 4, Price: 2

Excellent service and waitstaff. The food is fresh, colorful and healthy. I notice every time I go there, they are always playing really good music too. Try their vegan meats and spring rolls. I was recommend to try the jasmine and green iced teas by the manager Alex — and they were so good. I also visited the Beverly Hills location, which is quaint and cute. This time I got the spicy fish soup and crispy fish appetizers. I’ll be getting both items on my next visit.

Came for lunch and left so full that we were ready for a nap! Quick takeaway: –Food is tasty –reasonably priced/good deal –great beer selection –service was sub-par –if you check in on Unilocal you get a free summer roll! Overall my experience here was pretty good. We got the chicken summer roll and it was really refreshing and light. The fried fish is a big olé’s slab of, you got it, fried fish. It was fried well. Nothing else you can really say about that. You can get a side of phở for your entrée for about $ 3 which is what I did. It wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it was still pretty good. The full size phở bowls are huge! My boyfriend managed to eat all of it though. I got the bahn mi sandwich was pretty disappointing. Not allot of meat and there was mayo all over the sando– even the outside which was weird. The accompanying salad was pretty darn tasty though. I think the place was under staffed which is why service was so slow and inconsistent.

I mean, it is a Vietnamese restaurant with no Vietnamese clientele, let alone any Asian clientele. I should have known better. The phở broth is not as tasty as the normal phở you get from an authentic hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese restaurant. But what IS good about this place is that you can really customize and add whatever toppings you would like to the phở. The spring rolls were pretty good. The crunchy rolls were not that good.

MUCHBETTER than its current 3 stars! Easily accessed from the 101 fwy. by exiting Lindero Canyon Rd. and cruising a very short distance. The inner dining area has a modern Asian simple elegance with a spacious layout. I like the artist wall but there are quite a few of pics of Kimmy Tang spread around(she likes looking at herself?). We were able to seat our party of 10 without difficulty. Currently, one of the rare eateries serving Vietnamese food in the Thousand Oaks/Westlake Village area. The menu has a primarily Vietnamese theme, but there are influences from other Asian cultures as well. Lots of vegan options, if you so choose. Our server, Van, was really on top if things during our visit. I gotta give that guy props! He was being worked, yet remained friendly and attentive throughout. My family sampled a «few» items… 9021PHOCRUNCHYROLLS($ 6.95): When it said rice paper, I was doubtful it would be crunchy at all. But I was wrong, its actually quite crunchy and tasty. Comes with five thumb size pieces, each wrapped with layer upon layer of webbed rice paper plus a dipping sauce. FRESHROLLS(FREE! with Unilocal check-in): a.k.a. spring rolls; Chose the tofu option. Comes with two rolls cut in half with a sweet sauce for dipping. No traditional peanut sauce available apparently. CHICKENPOTSTICKERS($ 7.95): Only 5 pieces come with each order. The inside chicken mix was a little vinegary, but that didn’t stop the young squires from devouring it. HONEYWALNUTPRAWNS($ 9.95): Nice presentation but I don’t think this is worth the price. Only six small shrimp here, each individually topped with a cream sauce and walnuts. KIDSPHOGA($ 5.95): Hefty sized portion for kids. Little one enjoyed it but I thought the broth was light on flavor. KIDSCRISPYFISH($ 6.95): Six pieces of white fish, definitely crunchy but still moist fish inside. Chose broccoli as the side. My light eater finished the plate! KIDSHAPPYFRIEDRICE($ 6.95): Good quantity and tasty. Added shrimp to make it more filling. This disappeared fast. LEMONGRASSBEEFSIRLOIN($ 13.75): Tender cuts of beef sauteed in lemongrass sauce with snap peas, carrots and onions. Added broccoli for an extra green boost. Brown rice option rounded out the plate. Tasty dish. PHOCHICKENCURRY($ 3.25 as a side): They give you the option of having any of their phở dishes as a side with any entrée purchase. THISWASDELICIOUS! Gotta be my favorite of today’s visit. The broth had a wonderful complex flavor to it, not too spicy and not a thick consistency at all. Chicken was tender. CHARBROILEDPORK($ 10.95): Pork was on the dry side, thus not much flavor. Luckily, it wasn’t my dish. SPICY N’ SOURPHO($ 3.25 as a side): Also YUMMY! I only got a taste, but what a flavorful spoonful it was! Very similar to a Thai«Tom Yum» soup. We had a great experience here! Our prompt visit with a large group was handled in stride and we were seated promptly. Our server Van was doing his thang and always had a smile on his face. Food came out in a timely manner, always tasty n’ hot. A little on the expensive side for Vietnamese food, but you have to consider the area its located in. That’s just the way it is ’round these parts. «When in Rome…» isn’t that how it usually goes? ;)

There are extremely limited options in the Thousand Oaks/Westlake area for phở… I’d go so far as to say NO options, except for 9021Pho. 9021Pho is tasty, but by no means great phở. It’s also relatively expensive. The phở bo(beef) and phở chay(vegetarian) are both good when doctored with sriracha and hoisin. I always ask for extra garnish(bean sprouts, jalapenos, basil, and lime) because they serving that comes with the soup is never quite enough. I’ll keep hoping for new Vietnamese options in the area, but in the meantime, you’ll find me at 90210Pho!

I really like this place. Not being one who really knows the difference between good phở and bad phở. It’s pretty acceptable to me. I loved the Chicken Phở and the Chicken Curry Phở. I also really enjoyed the Vietnamese beer that was recommended to me by my server.

3.75 stars. 9021Pho is more like a fast food phở place, though it is sit down establishment. Service is young and spotty. Food is good, not great. Fresh rolls are very good, 4.5 stars, served with tasty dipping sauce. Healthy and highly recommended. The Phở is the raison d’etre, though, and today we ordered the main attraction, Phở Bo. Portion size is huge. On the side you get the requisite sprouts, basil and jalapenos. The bowl of tasty beef broth is huge and it’s filled with a large portion of rice noodles along with some sliced beef and small meatballs. With several dollops of hot sauce, and topping the bowl off with the basil, sprouts and jalapenos we’re ready to dig in… Overall 3.5 stars for the phở. The otherwise 4+ star soup is held back by uninspired slices of beef and rubbery meatballs. Work the meat issues out and you have a 4 star winner. The menu is extensive with salads, apps and many entrees in addition to the phở. An extensive drink menu will please any palate. I especially like the iced teas. I must say that with so many unhealthy eating places nearby, and no phở restaurants within miles, 9021Pho is a solid choice for a healthy lunch or a very casual dinner in the WLV area.

Sometimes a hot simple chicken soup is just what the doctor orders. This location is great. There is easy parking and the restaurant is large and open. Service was friendly and efficient. Their selection of teas is wonderful and I am an avid tea drinker so I was pleased to see options like rose lychee and mee white tea. They have tons of wines, sakes and really interesting beers too. To start, the fresh rolls are my fave. Pork is the best filling but shrimp is the healthier option. I get the chicken phở or the lemongrass fish. Both are very flavorful but neither are heavy. The spumoni bomb is the perfect ending. Prices are very reasonable. A great dining option in Westlake Village.

Excellent appetizers. The fresh roll is incredible, and the crispy fish with aioli is delicious. The vegan spring roll was also very good. I had the Phở Ga and the portion is HUGE… there was enough for two people. Protip: the kitchen will split an order for you to share, and this is certainly plenty for two people. The Lemongrass Fish and Sweet Chili Chicken are both excellent, though the fish is so good I don’t think I’ll order anything but that going forward, it’s really nicely cooked and the flavors are amazing. They have a great wine and beer selection, and a wonderful selection of hot teas. The décor is modern, very clean. Service was fantastic, our server Bee was just amazing and friendly and looked after our every need, you’re lucky if you get her section! Now, I give this place four stars because there’s slim pickings in Westlake Village when it comes to good food. I’m from Reseda, and let me tell you, we know our Phở. This place is certainly, as the other reviews state, «Americanized»… but if you are a fan of P.F. Chang for«Chinese», then this is right up your alley for«Vietnamese». If you are looking for authentic Vietnamese food, then you have some driving to do… however it is very, very good for the area, and the service is what makes it shine, so I’m giving it four stars despite it’s questionable pedigree. I know I’ll be back for more…

This is a modern and clean phở establishment. Just because it doesn’t smell like cleaning products or wet mops doesn’t mean the food isn’t good. It just means that the food is clean, sophisticated, and modified to fit the standards of an upscale restaurant. The original location is in Beverly Hills. I love that it’s family friendly, but also if a guy took me on a date here I’d be happy to go. The ambiance is grand. The staff is very kind and efficient. There’s plenty of seating. Everything is in place and functional. I would not come here just for the phở, I suggest trying the other plates such as the honey walnut shrimp, or the fried fish. The phở is outstanding and I can’t wait to try the other more exotic phos such as curried phở and sweet and sour phở.

I really like this place, so I’m a bit shocked by the bad reviews. Yes, I have experienced some inconsistency in the level of service. But all the servers have been nice, even if some seem a bit inexperienced. The quality of the food, however, has been consistent. Some highlights: Chicken phở: whoever said it’s bland — did you add the huge plate of veggies and spices served with it? How can you add all that basil and jalapenos and not have enough flavor? Besides, there’s an assortment of sweet and hot sauces on every table. Banh Mi: The pork is my favorite, but I’ve had them all, and the mix of crunchy, chewy bread, spicy meat, just enough mayo, and veggies is great! Vietnamese Noodles: This is one of my favorite. Add the peanuts and some spicy red sauce — SOOO Good! Pork Salad: Noodles, meat, and salad with a light slightly sweet dressing. Fantastic. I highly recommend this place!

Yummy! I’m use to going into the Valley when I have a craving for noodles and It’s usually Ramen that I go for. So, this Phở business(a rice noodle type vs. the thick Ramen Noodle I’m use to) is something new for me and I enjoyed it. It’s good to see a variety of ethnic food starting to open up in this area. Serving size is huge. Customer Service was awesome, greeted with friendly smiling faces all around the place, very attentive and we got our food really quick which is always a plus.
