Oh Hyatt, how could you have gotten this one so wrong? Went mostly to explore, hoping to find someplace decent for drinks and a bite. Wound up freezing on a couch for a few hours and while they do have both bar and restaurant, each was equally deserted for good reason. Don’t try it, not a redeeming quality to think of.

Okay breakfast buffet. Fortunately, the breakfast was included with my room. Otherwise they charge $ 17. Bacon, eggs, pastries, oatmeal… not worth the price.

When heading to Westlake Village for morning business meetings, I miss the traffic jam by leaving super early and then treating myself to a 6:30 a.m. breakfast here at the Hyatt hotel. The car valet service is great, wait staff is efficient, the ambiance is comfortable, and if you sit by the back windows you’ll have a nice view of the garden and its water features.
I always order what’s NOT on the menu — medium rare steak and eggs scrambled with onion and cheese. They’ll charge their steak sandwich price (I think it’s $ 20), but you’ll get a good breakfast. It comes served with potatoes and a delicious little grilled tomato. You’ll feel ready to face the day after that, trust me :)
