Probably one of the worst doctor experiences I have ever had. I was seeing Dr. Kelman for a stress fracture that wasn’t healing. He put me in a cast and when that didn’t work it was like he gave up and said I was an anomaly. My physical therapist and I came to the conclusion my body was rejecting the screw from my bunion surgery last year because you could clearly see it. I went to Dr. Kelman and told him, so we decided to schedule a surgery to get it out. After THREE MONTHS of trying to get a 30 minute surgery and being told they «forgot to file my paperwork» and he «didn’t have time,» I was beyond frustrated. Then all of a sudden, Dr. Kelman told me I was exaggerating my pain and that I wasn’t having surgery for the right thing. Really? You’re going to tell me how I feel when this is the most miserable situation I have ever been in and want nothing more than to get better. I’m 25 years old, why would I want to spend my time in bed and having pain when walking. I went back to my general doctor and told her the situation and she said she has had many issues with this office before. She referred me to an orthopedic surgeon who scheduled me for surgery later that month. My new doctor knew exactly what he was doing and I am now pain free and doing great, no thanks to Dr. Kelman.

I just started running and developed very painful shin splints. Dr. Kelman was able to fit me in just before Thanksgiving, even though he had a full schedule, and evaluated my shins and feet. He was very gentle and educated me on why I was feeling pain. He took a very conservative approach and taped up my feet and provided me with inserts. A few weeks later he saw me for a follow up and all was well. He even gave me a few pointers on how to improve my run. Super nice guy and the ladies in the office are also extremely nice and made me feel comfortable. My insurance is in-​network with their office so the prices seemed fair and the billing was accurate. Thanks for fixing me!!!

I’ve been going to Dr. Kelman for the past month and a half, I’m very satisfied with Dr. Kelman and his staff.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR!!! He messed up a simple bunion surgery and put me on strong medications trying to hide the problem. I had to pay to have another surgeon fix what he did. When I asked his office for help with the bills he got an attorney who is trying to make my life very difficult! Now I have permanent pain and thousands of dollars in medical bills I am having trouble paying. STAY AWAY!!!

Dr. Kelman is a very very good podiatrist. I’ve been to quite a few and in my opinion, most of them are not as professional as medical doctors. I’m not sure why. He was thorough, informative, diagnosed my foot problem and «cured» me. I’m very pleased. I can’t imagine him being rude.

Unfortunately I had to see Dr. Kelman because of pain in my foot that turned out to be a stress fracture… not good for a dancer. He has taken great care of me, in spite of the fact I am not happy with having to wear a boot till my foot heals. I would recommend him highly. I’ve been very impressed with his knowledge and skill, and sense of humor.
