I’m so happy I found Christine, she takes her time with you and is so knowledgeable and caring. She cared when my general health care provider sluffed my symptoms off. I highly recommend her if you just don’t feel yourself or need a hormone overhaul. Staff is great and office is calm and peaceful.

I am so glad I found Christine Farrell. She is wonderful and so is her staff. I came to her because I was suffering from severe fatigue and also needed to find another doctor for hormone replacement therapy. I suffer from fibromyalgia and a few other autoimmune conditions as well as having gone through trauma and being a 2 time breast cancer survivor and then in a bad auto accident. My fatigue had gone to such a bad level I felt as if I was fading. The only other doctor who touched on the manner of my possibly adrenal fatigue had been this amazing chiropractor I had been seeing but who had moved away. Christine was the first medical specialist out of the MANY I had seen over a period of 6 years including UCLA and others who actually bothered to test my adrenal function. I was one of those women patients who always tested out fine with my thyroid even though many of my symptoms seemed typically thyroid related. I found out severe adrenal fatigue or adrenal insufficiency can have a lot of the same symptoms and sure enough, mine were shot. She is now working hard with me through natural hormone replacement therapy, diet, nutrition, supplements, etc. to get me feeling better and I am seeing results slowly but surely. For me it may take a long time but I feel she is dedicated and I will get there. I just am so glad she does what she does and I would not hesitate to pay her a visit if you are feeling sick and have not been able to get some answers. She is kind, compassionate, caring, listens to you and is extremely intelligent as well as open minded. You get a lot out of your appointment and she is always available to try and chat with you so you can keep in touch between appointments on how you are feeling. I want to add one last thing. For three years I myself worked in a natural health office with 2 amazing chiropractors, massage therapists and an acupuncturist. Although the doctors always tried to talk to their patients on the phone when they needed them sometimes these were lengthly consultations that required time the same as they would for an in person appointment and that is why sometimes a doctor will charge for this. It is not unusual at all and not at all unreasonable. Needing to talk on the phone can take time away from other patients waiting as well so I really do not find this to be an issue. Most of the time these phone chats are not even long enough for the charge to take place so it is fine.

I was so happy to find her again and so very thankful that she was able to quickly get me back on the path to «Normal». Excellent expereiecne.

If I could give Christine Farrell 10 stars, I would! Her knowledge, kindness and genuine concern are such rarities in today’s medical field. I came to her after having survived breast cancer, which put me into menopause at a fairly young age. I was falling apart — hormone-​less and miserable with hot flashes, insomnia and brittle bones. You name it, I had it. Christine helped me navigate the world of bioidentical hormone pellets and I felt completely safe in my decision to use them. She is always supportive, caring and attentive and treats me like she truly values me as a patient. Stop and think how many doctors you can say that about! Hormones are tricky things and she knows her stuff! Her staff is nothing short of amazing, too — without fail, always kind and always helpful.

Contrary to the negative post and only post on the page, Christine Farrell has been an amazing doctor, source of knowledge and advice during the entire 5 years I have been on bio-​identical hormone replacement with her. She has always made sure that I am feeling the best possible and not experiencing any side effects, making sure to be more conservative at first, and moving slowly going forward. I would highly recommend her to anyone experiencing menopausal/​post menopausal, pre menopausal symptoms and basically any woman just wanting to feel her best at whatever age she is.

After suffering for my entire adult life from Migraines and then finally starting to go thru menopause I was referred by a good friend to Christine Farrell. I am a personal trainer and wanted something as natural as possible. I am thrilled with the results but more importantly am not having migraines. I am sleeping better and feeling great.

Christine has been very helpful to me and along with her great staff, they are very quick to get back with you also or need if you have any problems that needs to be corrected, or need to see them, Your in the office in no time they also take Phone calls for your apt which is nice.
If anything goes wrong with my results with my blood work, its always quick to get resolved if I show too high or too low. Christine’s office is very nice and clean, and she is located in a beautiful building in a wonderful area in Westlake CA.

Christine Farrell is exceptional in her field. Her attention to detail and her care and concern are rare. She takes the time to listen and asks relevant, thoughtful questions to help accurately diagnose my hormonal issues. Having had a full hysterectomy in 2006 at the age of 38, I have severe problems regulating my hormones. Christine has been my health care provider since I relocated to Malibu and I am very pleased and confident in her care. Since I’ve been under her care I no longer suffer from night sweats, hot flashes, or unexplained anxiety. I am not over-​prescribed to various medications as I have been in the past & my symptoms are treated mainly by the hormonal pellet she prescribes. It has been a relief to find her and I can’t recommend her highly enough. When I’ve called her office and received the voicemail my call has always been returned the same day. This is someone who truly cares about her patients ~ a rare and valuable trait.

I have to say when I first started the process of seeking hormone therapy I had seen 5 doctors who ALL told me their was nothing wrong with me. I will tell you right now that most doctors don’t know enough about hormones and you need to go to someone who specializes in it. So when I was refrerred to Christine Farrell I knew I met the right person to help me. I had horrible exhaustion, mood swings, pms and forget about even talking to me until I have had my morning coffee. Oh and the biggest one of all hair loss. Very devastating to say the least. She has helped me with it all. Not only did I feel and look better my family noticed the change. I highly recommend her.
I did feel a difference with the first 2 weeks, but with hormones it can take up to a year before my levels were perfect so you must be patient.

I initially consulted for progesterone replacement. As a migraine sufferer of 20 years, though, I allowed myself to get up-​sold into subcutaneous testosterone pellets.
Here is the thing about migraine sufferers, if you tell one that they could get relief by eating a live kitten, they probably won’t.
But they will at least wonder where the nearest kitten IS. We’re that desperate, and therefore pretty gullible as a group.
After trying many prescription drugs and supplements, I thought I had nothing to lose but a lot of money on the testosterone. Unfortunately, in my case, the side effects were worse than any pill I had tried.
My third and last pellet resulted in a three-​day hospital stay, after I developed extreme agitation, vision changes, blinding headaches, and an inability to sleep for 72 hours straight. The subcutaneous pellets take a long time to work themselves out of your system. It was a tough several weeks.
It was a nightmare, and one I went through with less than zero support from this practice. While my reaction was severe, Ms. Farrell has gone so far as to claim that these symptoms surely had been caused by something other than her treatment, even though nothing remotely like that has happened before or since. My current doctors have politely suggested that my preexisting conditions and other medications were essentially a Parade of Red Flags that this was not a responsible course of treatment.
Ms. Farrell’s description of testosterone treatment had three phases
1) Safe: She actively persuaded me to take the testosterone therapy as Safe and Natural; but not all hormones are safe (or even natural).
2) Serious Business: when I would arrive for the pellet implantation, I was handed a stack of liability waivers to sign: I understood the gravity of the potential consequences of testosterone.
3) Not Her Problem: When I experienced trouble and called several times, I was offered as the opportunity to give my credit card for Ms. Farrell to speak to me herself. I don’t know any MD’s who operate this way. My primary care is an Nurse Practicioner too, but I can get her on the phone. Although, my primary care isn’t running her own for-​profit business.
