Pedego Westlake Village

Bought two Interceptor bikes for hubby and me this past winter from Linda at Pedego 101 in Westlake. We were previously sedentary; but these bikes have made it so fun to ride that we are riding most days. The pedal assist is a wonderful feature, especially for folks trying to get back into shape. We have been pleased with the quality and with the support from Linda and her team when we have had minor issues. Highly recommended.

What a great bike shop! We rented their awesome electric bicycles and had the best time ever! Went on a tour of local movie sites in Malibu Creek State Park and Paramount Ranch. 22 miles round trip but on these electric bikes we could have gone twice the distance. Easy to ride and they handle like a dream. I KNOW I’ll own one of these sweet bikes soon! I’d also like to give a shoutout to the owners Linda and John who made our total experience so much fun! They are helpful, knowledgeable and so kind. Don’t hesitate to stop by this GREAT bike shop!

Bought a Unilocal deal, and went with my sister and our little dog. (They provided baskets). We went on what seemed to be the hottest day of the year, which wasn’t the best idea but that’s when she came to visit, so that’s when we went.
The staff was very friendly, and helpful, as I had just moved to the area and didn’t (and still don’t haha) know my way around. Even if you don’t know where you’re going, using these bikes are fun anyway. Since it was so hot, we didn’t pedal AT ALL. We both agreed that it would have been nearly impossible without the electric assist because of the heat.
I’ve used Pedego before, and I will continue to do so. It is so much fun to boogy around with barely little to no effort. I would definitely recommend renting or purchasing one of these bikes.

So if you want to get some excercise pedal away, no problem. The great part is to use a combination of
Legs and battery to get you up the hills at a reasonable
Pace that is equivalent to what highly conditioned cyclists can do. We were doing the hills, electric assisted, at a fun
10 to 15 mph compared to what would be for me an exhausting uphill shelp at 4 – 9 mph. So on these bikes you can get out there and go far. We covered over 35 miles in about 2.5 hours and felt nicely worked out.

Well — I stopped by for the second time to SERIOUSLY consider buying a pair of electric bikes from them. I first visited when they had just opened while I was at the weekend Farmers’ Market in their parking lot. I found the staff to be cheerful and knowledgeable. Since that first visit I had been looking for other electric bikes in local bike shops and found one ONE in stock elsewhere — and every time they were far more expensive. I know this is comparing apples to cookies dissimilar probably — as something costing twice the money and looking completely different is going to be like that. Anyways — although I have not bought from them yet I am citing them for being «A-​OK» on my two visits. The second visit last week being a more inquisitive questioning visit where most of my concerns and queries went fully answered.
Now the only thing left is to convince my spouse that I’d like a PAIR of E bikes for fathers’ day for myself and to share with my spouse and best friend of 32 years! (silent grinning)

Awesome shop! I rented an electric bicycle and rode around the lake. There are many bike lanes to ride in the area on scenic hills roads. Great experience.

The Pedego electric bikes are top quality so much fun but the friendly service at Pedego 101 is even better! I’ve now purchased three bikes here and If I could choose more than 5 stars I would.

Came to PEDEGO 101 a few weeks ago to rent electric bikes with some friends. We had such a blast that we came back the following weekend to do it all again! Beautiful location 15 minutes from Malibu with plenty of routes to ride. Now I want to buy my own!
