I just come here to buy plastic bins since I am trying to organize my garage. FYI if you’re looking for totes to store things come to big lots way cheaper than Walmart or target. The customer service isn’t good here.

Unilocal challenge 201528⁄365 Big Lots is the type of place you dream about. You hope you will find something Big for the bang of your dollar. Its not the place to go to expect to find something, rather a place to find some hidden treasures. I’ve been here a few times, and walked aimlessly around the store without a map, and without a destination in mind. I only knew I was looking for whatever caught my eye. I found some Goo Off for the hubsters, at a cheaper price, a few snackers for my late night munchies in front of the TV and a few other things. Spent about $ 10. Not to shabby. They sell a little bit of everything from electronics, DVDS, Monster High dolls(which were $ 13.99 yikes), backdoor stuff, trinkets and treasures, books, furniture, food, ect. You just got to look for the stuff your not looking for. Located off Westminster Blvd in a large strip mall with plenty and plenty of parking. Making it easy peasy to enter and exit. The only hard thing is, checking out. There is always a line, only one register open, so it takes forever and a day. Some of the isles are a little tight and some of the shelves need restocking. Its just okay. Ive been to better Big Lots. Review # 535

This particular Big Lots needs to hire more motovated employees. The lines are always long and slow! The customer service here is also awful. The cashiers were too busy texting on their phones that the customer clearly came second. They also had the nerve to demand the customers to take the shopping cart out of the store if they are done using it! He literally gave me my receipt and told me to take the cart outside. They didn’t really have a lot of stuff here that I would buy. Sure, they have name brand items but I feel like its not much of a price difference than Target/Walmart.(I kind of trust Target/Walmart more though because the items sold here seems really old). Tip: Pretty good spot to shop at if you’re moving in your first apartment! They have furniture, all kitchen utencils, bedding, curtains, etc at pretty good prices.

my hubby and i rode our bike here and wanted to stop in to find some patio stuff since we just moved from out of state. There was NO bike parking outside so we proceeded to bring out bikes inside to see if we can leave our bikes inside to look at the stuff we wanted to check out. We go yelled at from the cashier(Asian female) that was working at the time to get out with our bikes. I was so shocked of this customer service my mouth dropped. then a sales associate came to see what we are were requesting and she let us know we could just park our bikes in front of the store behind the cashiers… then that Asian cashier yells again… NO get out! crazy! I will never go back here EVER!!! horrible customer service and completely non understanding that people in Huntington beach ride bikes!!!

This place was very clean(usually big lots are so messy!) and had actually a good selection of items. I didn’t find what I was looking for there but I would probably be back to browse.

WORSTBIGLOTSINOC! They have one person working and the line is about 40 people long. I stupidly bought Xmas lights here two nights ago and out of 3 boxes, ZERO work! Someone just keeps putting the broken lights back on the shelves. I would really suggest driving a few more blocks to the BIGLOTS on Huntington Beach. Grrrr.

This store is a hot mess! Went in this morning to return a few things and was the 4th person in line. There was only 1 register open. There were 3 other workers around just yapping to each other and the cashier about sku numbers and bitching and complaining about another worker in «management»(I’ll keep her name to myself). I say this because they were saying things such as «oh she doesn’t give a damn cause she’s in management». Yep folks, all this was going down in the front of the store. Within a few more minutes the line was literally 8 or 9 people deep, still working with the same ONE cashier! The lady behind me asked another employee if she was going to open a register and she simply said no and walked away. The lady in «management» that everyone was bitching about finally came down and opened another register. She did my return but jacked it up and had to redo the return wasting even more time. I finally got my return done and went to look around for some beach toys for my 2 year old. Low and behold I see a customer

Can’t deny I’m a fan of Big Lots. Well, I recently became Dutchess of this particular location! I’ve got the infamous Elizabeth V. aka chopsticks lady to thank/blame for my Big Lots obsession. Years back(oh wow, it’s been years?) we used to wonder around different stores looking for random knick knacks. She still refers to this place as Pick N Save which in the beginning really confused me. Furniture? Check! Kitchen items? Check! Linens? Check! Groceries? Check! Hi, my name is Rain and I’m a Triscuit addict and Big Lots is my dealer. You can get the big box here for less than the price of the small one at a regular grocery store! Electronics? Check! Accessories? Check! Lil sis gave mommy an iPad as advance Mother’s day present so it was my duty to find a case and protector for it. So, brought mom to this store so she can pick out a case and sure enough, she found one that she likes. 2 pack of screen protector + case with stand = $ 15. Happy mom? Priceless! Frames? Check. Yeah, after spending and getting loans for USC, I could not be bothered to buy the $ 100+ frame for my diploma. I opted for the $ 6 Big Lots alternative. I swear you can’t tell how cheap it – unless of course, you read this Unilocal review. And it’s not like I will hang my real diploma. Pro tip: Go to Staples and get a copy on fancy paper. My parents think they have the original hanging in their living room, shhh! It’s not! Console games? meh. They need to improve their way of storing their game inventory! They have the blank containers out but not have the actual product. But I have another Big Lots for that so it’s all good!
