I normally visit the coffee shops on the East side of Bolsa and discovered this place while drinking and wanted to give it try. I walk in last night and the first thing I notice is how nice the café looks inside. Impressive as hell, more like a nice lounge than a café and had a nice upscale feel. The décor, lighting, beautiful women everywhere and overall vibe reminded of lounges that visit in Las Vegas. It’s very relaxed here and a clearly a great place to watch sporting events with five 80′ TV’s, great drink selection and very beautiful servers. My server was Vicky and she was very nice and always checked on me to see if I needed a refill. Excellent service. It was also great they have California Lotto for the customers to play while enjoying the café. I had the opportunity to meet the owner and his lovely wife. Both were extremely nice people and it was great to talk with them. I definitely look forward to going back to Café Dang. 5 Big Unilocal Star.

On my second visit I was slightly disappointed. While it was busy it was not overwhelmingly so. It was all different hostesses from my first visit and this group was not as attentive as the first group. Like many coffee shops the hostesses are attractive but guarded and usually only converse with known regulars. Let’s see how visit three goes.

My boyfriend and I heard good things about this place and decided to check it out ourselves . Well, the name of the café speaks for itself . It was our first time and we enjoyed the view and atmosphere

The Good: I actually said dang the first time I went into Café Dang! The women here are really attractive. It’s a basic coffee shop that sells Lotto stuff and coffee. I’m not sure what drinks they sell, I’ve never gotten a menu and they always ask me like I should know what I want when I walk in. I think there is a small menu written on the board behind the counter, but really who’s looking at the counter? They are quick to bring you a iced tea before you even sit down and they refill it whenever you take a sip, well almost. The Bad: I’m not sure if I give out a creepy vibe but they never seem to talk to me. The refill and run to the next table. The most I’ve gotten is a hi or what can I get you to drink. The Ben: This place is right across the street from my barber who always has an hour wait so I just walk here and chill.

About 4 girls working… all in bikinis. Similar to other reviewers, the place is lit up with all sorts of lighting. Behind the bar is a huge wall of just blue!

Came here on a Sunday afternoon, April 3, 2011. Stop #2 of 6(Coffee Shop Tour II) It’s on a street corner, and the parking lot in front is pretty small. Upon entering, you’ll see a bar along the left side — first time I’ve seen a Viet café with a bar. Sight: It was about 70% full, mixed crowd. 3 girls working, but one of them was wearing granny panties… c’mon! There were six 42″ tvs on the perimeter, and seven 28″ tvs lining the top of the bar. Hear: Viet techno, Vietnamese songs, and R&B Taste: Iced coffee with condensed milk was solid. The water, or tea, or whatever that was served free was a sweet liquid, but I couldn’t put my finger on what it was. Bathrooms: Single toilet It was $ 5 for each of the two coffees we got, and $ 6 for a strawberry smoothie. Refills were plentiful, but I suspect its because they don’t have a system going. I think at some places, they just walk around every 5 minutes, or every 10 minutes. I actually logged our refills during this tour: 2:12pm — entered. 2:15pm — first refill. 2:19pm — second refill. 2:20pm — third refill. 2:37pm — left. Haha, yea, that was 3 refills within the first 10 minutes!

Not a review but a comment. This is a weird name for a café. It meas«bitter» in Vietnamese. Why would you want to be bitter while drinking with ur buddies?

Oh, Café Dang. A cool little café on a street corner in Westminster. My first time here was with a few friends, drank some café sua da(Vietnamese iced coffee), played some cards and hung out… for six hours. This place has what it takes to make me happy. Great tunes, usually a mix of Modern Talking and other music alike. Great service, really friendly owner, as well as all of the ladies that work here, I mean this, aside from their attire and disposition. Great atmosphere, dim lit, with flat screens covering the walls, little card game machines at the bar, and a karaōke screen. The price is pretty decent, considering the size of the coffees, too. We sat in here and played cards, drank a couple coffees each, and drank gallons of hot tea. My favorite part: I was never badgered to buy anything more, or asked to leave. It felt like I was at home, away from home, especially being the whitest person in the entire café.

Café Dang is what my friends and I call a «Viet Café», not because its ran by Vietnamese people serving Vietnamese-style drinks, but because is its ran by Vietnamese people serving Vietnamese-style drinks, which are brought to you by scantily clad Vietnamese girls. It’s similar to the franchise«Hooters», but because it’s not a family restaurant, the girls here wear much more revealing outfits to accentuate their assets. The setting here is dark, lit up mostly by the bar and LCD TVs that are lined along the walls. It seems like people just come here to relax and check out the ladies so their menu selection is minimal. My buddies and I came here and all we ordered was their coffee and a deck of cards(they sell cards here) and chilled the whole night. Some people smoke in there so if you are not a smoker or can’t stand the smell of cigs, I don’t suggest this place for you. The coffee is a bit overpriced but since it’s brought to you by pretty viet chicks, I would say that you get what you paid for. This place definitely serves a niche crowd and it’s not for everybody, but I like the atmosphere so I will probably come again.
