We’ve tried this place twice now, I guess the second time was out of desperate hunger and hoping that the first time was a fluke. Sad to say it wasn’t. I think the easiest way to describe both of our experience here is that nothing seems fresh. We tried the sushi, chicken Pad Thai, crab rangoons and sesame chicken(over two times) and none of it has ever seemed fresh. The final straw was definitely the water like consistency of the sauce on the sesame chicken. No way of getting a good pic but I tried, it was practically favored water, making the breaking on the chicken completely soggy and mushing off the chicken. Sad day. In the trash. I’m still hungry. :(

TERRIBLE! Ordered food from East Moon at 6:42PM. .. . Long story short at 8:30PM still no food. .. complained they said they were sorry and we can wait 15 minutes or we can cancel order. We went to Panda Express down the street.(All documented and saved).

This place is one of my favorite places for sushi in the north area. Food quality is good and they have expanded the menu to include some noodle bowls which I love AND they also serve Shashito peppers! Good food and service in a nicely decorated place.

In town for business and went in being skeptical about eating raw fish in the Rockies but everything was top notch! We had the rangoons for an appetizer which were excellent as well as several rolls. We are going to try to go again before we leave. Wish there was one in Texas!

I like the food. The service isn’t ever really that great. The last time I went in I sat at the bar for 23 mins before one person on staff said anything to me. I almost got up to leave. When I stood up one of the ladies saw me and asked me if she could get me anything. I debated for Few seconds, then said«Purple haze Saki please». That stuff tends to change my mood fast. For the price, I shouldn’t complain. I actually enjoy he food. Just wish the service was better

I would give this place 10 stars if I could! This rating is purely on their food because I live nearby and I have only used their delivery service but daaammm… I am glad to have them as a delivery option! I have ordered several rolls, walnut shrimp, drunken noodles, and pan fried pork dumplings. .everything was the best Asian food I have eaten in a long time, if not, ever. the walnut shrimp. I have dreams of eating that dish, lol… the shrimp are HUGE! anyway, just wanted to show them some love because I want them to keep doing what they are doing! Enjoy!

I wish I could give 0 stars. If you want to wait 2 hours I think we might be going on hour 2.5 for waiting on food. I bet it’s going to be mediocre. Don’t waste your time. I had to come back and let everyone know that my stomach really really hurts.

Atmosphere: Excellent Service: Good Food: I think not. I think of this place as Asian for yuppies. Add lots of sugar, serve extra large portions, serve it in a Posh environment and charge extra for it and you are bound to develop a following. The sauces in the curries(I sampled two) and the Pad Thai were sickeningly sweet. I live off of Federal Boulevard and eat Asian food often where the competition is fierce and the restaurants are filled with Asian people. This place would not survive there in my estimation. I recommend finding a local place and eating twice as good for half the price.

I Have been back a few times and the happy hour menu has more items now. Every server and bartender has been friendly although I still feel awkward standing at the front waiting while employees walk by with no acknowledgement when it isn’t busy.

Ok lunch special. Really can’t beat 2 – 3 rolls, salad & soup for $ 10 – 14. Since its a fusion place it does suit the business crowd(or your family of picky eaters) pleasing all crowds from non-sushi eaters to sashimi lovers. You’ll get decent. Rolls have good ratio of rice to fish, but don’t expect high quality. Waitresses all are good and dependable. Their HH is good choice and quiet. Never have to wait and service is generally faster than most. Pix next time. *Note, don’t ask for Sriracha unless you want to pay $ 0.75 for a little dish — byos.

I’ve convinced myself three times to go to this restaurant in hopes that the food would be better. Silly me. The problem is that I work nearby, so the location is exceptionally convenient(and I see it every day when I drive by). Unfortunately, the ratings don’t live up to my experience. I think that if you’re looking for sushi, this is a much better place for that rather than ordering any of the other types of food they offer. I have always been skeptical about Asian restaurants that offer Singaporean, Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Thai foods all in one place — jack of all trades, master of none. That is probably the best way to sum up my experience at this restaurant — consistently mediocre food from a variety of cooking styles.

Terrible terrible service no soy sauce at all with sushi(which is kind of important). Called to talk to a manager and they hung the phone up. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

I enjoyed the drunken noodles! Service was great and meals came out super quick during lunch hour. I also liked the variety of asian fusion dishes.

Fool me once, okay. Fool me twice, well, that’s my bad. Fool me three times, damn I’m an idiot! This place has never been able to complete an order properly. There’s always /something/wrong. The food is always very good, but you’re lucky if you get what you ordered. I’m done with this place. So close, yet so far.

Always come in here with my best girl friends. While out with my husband who is new to the area decided to stop in. They never disappoint. The atmosphere is the perfect mix of East meets west. Colorado stone, modern design with eastern flair. We had the Westminster roll, King Kong Roll, Spicy Tuna and Yellowtail and Scallion. All were taste and fresh. Be prepared to look like a chipmunk when you grab a piece of the Westminster roll. If you’re like me you don’t bite your sushi in half since it falls a part, down side? This roll is food for two bites per piece! My husband is always a little aprehensive to try sushi in Denver as he grew up in Southern California on the coast. He’s always very happy with my choices for sushi places. If we end up buying a house here, this will be a more frequent place to visit for us!

Both my wife and i got sick within hours of eating here. My wife was violently ill within about 2 hours, me the next morning. What a waste of $ 58 for our first date night in months. Not happy with East Moon. Funny thing is, i’ve has the sushi here a couple times and never got sick. It was the more traditional entrees that got me sick.

Based on reviews from some Unilocalers whose reviews I trust I decided to give this place a try. I wasn’t dissapointed and I am glad I gave it a try. I started with the avacado salad which came with a peanut dressing. I really liked the salad and it was a generous serving. For my entrée I ordered the saracha chicken. The plate arrived and the presentation was very nice. The chicken was spicy and delicious with again a generous portion. The fried rice was fluffy and cooked to perfection. The place itself is clean and has a pleasant vibe to it. Our server was efficient and polite. The food prices are reasonable for the quality of food and the portion size. I am a big fan of Saigon Basil but this place is closer to home so I will be back.
