In my last review of this restaurant, under different management, I gave it one star(Eek! Methinks not.) — the restaurant changed hands, and the owner contacted me urging me to try the place and update my review. It’s now months later, and I apologize. Today I gave it another try. If half stars were available, I’d give it 2.5 stars(2 is «Meh, I’ve experienced better»). Honestly, there was little change. Order to delivery of product was fast. The dining area was nearly exactly the same, as was the television. The flickering fluorescent light was still there(stay away if you have epilepsy)! The fried rice is still the variety where it’s day-old white rice with soy sauce added(and not fried at all). There has been change for the better. The prices are a touch lower. The quality of the food was slightly better. Not greasy or oily or fatty for a restaurant of its class. Although the restaurant is not the disaster it was, and the new management should be commended, this is still a low-end takeout place, and for the price you can generally do better. However, if you do partake, at least now, you won’t feel ripped off. A few other points: similar to other reviewer notes, my chicken dish had less chicken that I would consider«normal». We stopped by at about 6:30pm today(Saturday). I ordered and waited to take the food out. I would guess it took 10 – 15 minutes. I was the only customer in evidence. My previous photos still apply. I didn’t mention I was going to review, or anything else for that matter, so I can’t speak to the friendliness of the current workers.

I would put NO stars if it let me… Horrible food, and not what I ordered. Ordered Shrimp and Scallops with Garlic sauce… NO shrimp… two very small scallops and when I called the restaurant they said«what do you want me to do» … I said refund me or send a new meal — that I actually waited ½ hour longer than the latest time on their window to delivery — they said«on usually only 2 scallops come with that, oh so… can do nothing, you have to call grub hub(where I ordered from» and basically hung up. REALLYDUDE? Only TWO scallops come with a dish that’s advertised for 11 bux as shrimp and scallops and NO shrimp and you can do NOTHING for me? HORRIBLE.

Pretty disappointed. We order our food to be delivered and when we got it an hour later, it wasn’t what I thought it was supposed to be. I ordered BBQ pork Chow Mein, and to my dismay it was just vegetables and pork. I called the restaurant and was told there weren’t noodles in Chow Mein… WEIRD, I have ordered it at other places and there’s noodles. So I Googled it! And low and behold, NOODLES! AND they didn’t do anything to rectify the problem. Won’t order from them again, next time I’ll order from Thousand Woks. Better food, faster delivery, and they have noodles in their Chow Mein!

I sometimes order to go from here and the food has been really good lately. I like the crab cheese wontons, Sesame chicken, kung pao combination, and lo mein. The owners are nice as well. Prices are pretty comparable to other Chinese restaurants around the area. Not sure why reviews are so low here.

I would give this place a half a star if possible. Driver delivered my sweet and sour chicken without the namesake sauce. I had to call the restaurant twice. Finally 45 minutes after my food arrived a driver returned with no apologies and two tiny cups of sweet and sour which barely covered half of the order. Boo!

As the other reviews, this review is to help others stay away from here. There are SO many better Chinese restaurants. There’s not much to say good about the food except that it’s edible, large enough portions(I’ve had larger) and that’s about all it is. The mongolian beef doesn’t even closely resemble what mongolian beef is, the steamed dumplings(I tried both the chicken and the pork) are nearly flavorless(the dipping sauce is great though), the fried rice is not fried at all as a previous reviewer noted(it’s just steamed rice tossed with some bits of scrambled egg and soy sauce), and the General Tso’s Chicken was fairly tasty even though it was more breading than chicken. Not going to bother with this place again unless every other restaurant in a 100 mile radius closes down.

I wasn’t expecting excellent food, but this fell WAY below my expectation. I ordered a pad thai with tofu. What I got was congealed noodles soaked with sauce. This dish didn’t even resemble pad thai. This dish was not even edible. The hot and sour soup had very little flavor. I’ve never written a review before, but this meal was so bad I felt compelled to write one.

Not the greatest chinese food I ever tasted, but it’s hella cheap and the service is friendly too. My DH and I stopped by to give this place a try and althought it wasn’t bad, we won’t be back. We’ll drive out to our favority place on the other side of town. He ordered the general tsao’s chicken which was a little runny and sweeter than expected. I ordered the schezuan beef which smelled way better than it tasted. I also ordered steamed rice, but received fried — which was ok as I was hungry. The servings were huge and we had plenty to take home. We were even served wonton soup with our meal. Tons of food! Overall, just ok, nothing great.
