Drove all the way over here and sat out front on a Sunday afternoon waiting for them to open and I guess no one decided to show up to work today because it’s 12:05 and nobody’s here… I peeked inside the restaurant and nothing was set up so? Really disappointing won’t be coming back again

Food and service were ok. $ 23.99 for ayce, and out of all the rolls(about 6) I had, only the Godfather was excellently crazy good. I sat at the bar and the chef would go all the way around to bring me food, which was really nice of him. The wasabi was not good, almost no spicy at all, so it felt a little bit fake. One roll I ordered has a lot of rice so I was disappointed lol, but overall there’s really nothing much to complain except the price is kinda expensive for the food. Tip: the chef doesn’t speak much English so you might want to communicate with the waitress(which I felt a little bit awkward for some reasons).

This is my 2nd time here, I had to find a new All You Can Eat sushi place since I got so sick eating at Sagemi Tei a few weeks ago. The sushi was definitely better. They had alot more selections and varieties. The waitress was cute and tentative too. The place was not busy, they took a little long bring out the sushi order, but they only had one sushi chef working tonight I guess that’s why. The Cindy Rolls was pretty good.

I give it 4 stars even tho their rolls are all pretty amazing because their happy hour menu just sucks for the rolls. No sense having happy hour.

We arrived with a party of four at noon on Friday to an empty restaurant. The two sushi chefs were working on a to-go order. The waitress was no where to be found, one of the chefs brought drinks(which we later had to beg him for water refills later, and was a major imposition). Fifteen minutes later(still no sight of a waitress) we had to flag down one of the chefs to let him know that we would like to place an order. Two of us ordered from the All You Can Eat menu, the other two ordered al-a-cart lunches. The al-a-cart items came to the table in a reasonable time. At 12:50, more than twenty minutes after the two al-a-cart items arrived and half of our party finished their lunches, part of our AYCE arrived. By this time 5 other party arrived and the restaurant was filling up, and the waitress finally appeared and was in a panic. She was helpless and unable to communicate. We had to ask several times about our order. As I am typing this it is now 10 minutes passed 1pm and our order is still not complete and the surrounding tables have received their orders. The food here is nothing special and the service is despicable. There are so many options for sushi all around, you would expect at some point the standards should begin to rise. I won’t come back here.

My all-time favorite all you can eat sushi restaurant! The location is the last place you’d expect to find such good sushi, but I just keep coming back, I only ever get their all you can eat, but they do a la carte as well as other non-sushi dishes. They also do takeout! For 23.99 the AYCE menu has a large variety of items. My favorite rolls are the caterpillar roll, snow crab heaven(or something like that), and many many more! The sushi is really light and comes in small sizes so I am able to order a huger variety of rolls as opposed to getting full off of just one or two choices. They do take quite a bit of time to make the sushi, but it’s worth the wait in my opinion, I’ll always love this place! The place just closed down.

Service was on point Food was disappointing. Paper thin fish on nigori. Fish to rice ratio 1 part fish 10 part rice. For rolls I ordered thw Godfather Roll and Bake Salmon, it was gross, texture and taste.

Friendly waitress and tasty food really impressed me. I was glad that I checked this place out, and I will try AYCE sushi next time for $ 23 as I remember.

I’ve driven by this place a couple of times and decided to give it a shot. Although communication was a little rough at first(wanted to clarify if ordering individual plates was okay as opposed to AYCE… he wasn’t clear what I was asking at first… I ordered uni and was brought out unagi instead… and was told uni was out that evening) the owner(?) was friendly and welcoming and the service was good. Based on a couple of reviews I ordered the 420 roll. The 420 roll, while it had a smokey flavor that was kind of nice, I did not have the same«wow» reaction as others did here and overall was not impressed by it. It was also about $ 12 for 8 rather small pieces. I also ordered the battered and deep fried chicken cutlet. Although it was a decent serving size the flavor of the chicken and the accompanying sauce were very consistent with 2 stars: «Meh. I’ve experienced better.» It’s hard to describe really as it was a forgettable dish. This dish was $ 10. Overall, the service was fine but I felt that the food was overpriced.

Great sushi bar in Westminster. Came here on a Thursday night and it wasn’t too busy. It was easy for get a table for 2 and our service was very prompt. We decided to take on the challenge of the all you can eat sushi for $ 23.95. We ordered edamame(very simple), gyoza(very hot when it came out, but tasted a-okay), and 6 sushi rolls: 420’s, Godfather, Maui, Rainbow, Spider, and one with yellow tuna(can’t recall the name). My favorites were the 420’s(must get!) and the Godfather(ours had a little too much mushroom on it though). I would definitely come back again. Everything was reasonably priced, and taste good overall!

TOTALCOST for AYCE is $ 26.11 all day long. Really. AYCE is $ 23.95 + 2.16 sales tax = $ 26.11. Their female waitress is very friendly and attentive. I prefer to have her wait on us than the owner. In our group we have some novice sushi eaters and asking questions or having anything explained was challenging. I would say to go in a large group but don’t expect to get what you ordered in the sequence you asked for. You might have to remind the waitress to bring out the next dish.

This place is probably my go-to sushi place now. I used to go out of my way to get my sushi fix, but have discovered this place is kind of a gem. I live right across the street so its super convenient. The variety in rolls is pretty good. Some of them kind of taste the same, but there’s still a lot to choose from. I’m more of a special roll kind of girl, never really into nigiri so their menu is good enough for me. My favorite rolls are the Happy roll(cali roll with slice of lemon and salmon on top), Philly 2(like happy roll toppings but philly roll on the inside). Godfather roll is good if you want to try something different, it has grilled mushrooms on it which gives it a different taste. The restaurant is never really busy, so the staff is always attentive and ready to help you with anything you need.

General rule if thumb is if you want really high quality sushi don’t go to an all you can eat place. With that said the quality was definitely decent. The fish was fresh and tasted good. The options for nigiri were pretty limited compared to some other places and the slices of fish were small with a lot of rice. If you’re into rolls they have a huge selection, maybe about 2 or 3 times the selection of nigiri. The appetizers were good and cooked really well, tasted fresh but again very limited selection. Overall a decent place for all you can eat.

Came here yesterday. Had a very late lunch but still in time for their lunch special. I ordered the 5 piece nigiri with choice of a sushi roll served with miso soup for 10.95. Bf had the choice of two rolls served with salad and miso soup for 9.95. Both great deals and it was surprisingly filling! We walked in, place was empty but not a lot of people eat at 2:45pm! Nicely greeted by the host(probably owner), and he promptly got our drink orders. We ordered our food shortly thereafter and didn’t wait too long for the food to come out, which was good bc we were kinda on a time crunch. The food came out(soups and salad first then the sushi) and presentation was on point! The sushi chef took his time to ensure that the plates were nicely presented and showcased the sushi ordered. I really liked everything we ordered. At first bite, I was nervous bc the last time I went to another sushi joint, the fish was super cold and tasted like it was recently thawed. Not the case here! I had an enjoyable first bite and gladly ate until my food was gone! The fish was tender, not toooo mushy(although a tad bit firmer would’ve been nice for me), and the rice was served a little bit warmer than room temp(which is what I’ve been told it needs to be.) with a slight hint of rice vinegar(not vinegar happy like some places I’ve tried.). Everything came together really nicely. Overall, we had a good experience. I want to return for their AYCE option. Reviews seem pretty solid for that, too. The only qualm I have is about the place not having any ambient noise or music… Yes, we were the only two customers in there, and yes, the service was great, and yes, the food was yummy, but I could hear the wind blowing outside(ok, maybe I didn’t but if the Santa Ana winds were acting up then probably could have!). Luckily, things like that don’t stop me from food. See ya, again!
