Mile High Otolaryngology-Dr Todd Beatty

Dr. Beatty is a concerning Doctor– does not take much time to listen to his patients needs– I’m not sure he’s ever spent more than 15 minutes with me. His office does not always call me back when I call with concerns. I wasn’t told initially that I would not have hearing for up to two months after he replaced a tube in my ear and was defensive about the level of pain I experienced. He once numbed my earn drum and sent me home, but I was so dizzy for two hours I had to wait to drive. This seemed like something preventable-​he should have mentioned I would need a ride. He did not address the person in the room (my ride for after another procedure) which didn’t make either of us feel comfortable. He is quick to prescribe antibiotics and steroids, and put me on a high dose of prednisone and then didn’t taper, so I had severe side effects. I would not recommend this doctor-​I won’t be going back.
