Great pasta, and they serve food late. Their staff is friendly and helpful.

Ahhh what to say about an iconic beer drinkers bar? If you only want beer go for it! The food is not great, our slaw was old and wilted. The calazone’s for lunch at $ 7.99 are good and the other lunch menu is interesting but the place seems grimy and greasy. The diner atmosphere is a let down for those who have gone to other locations. It will get the job done but nothing too exciting.

This is the most wonderful Old Chicago I have ever been to! The food is always fast and hot, no matter how busy. The beer selection is large, and there are plenty of food options to choose from. Michael is generally the server who takes care of us in the bar section, and he is never off his game. He has the menu totally memorized, so he can give you crazy awesome recommendations. My husband, friend, and I are only semi-regulars, but Michael could still tell us what beer we’re going to order before we know ourselves. I give this place five stars because it always deserves it!

My husband and I are regulars here for football or just to catch a beer and catchup. My favorite part of this OC is the staff. They’re all so welcoming and really make the difference for me! I’ve never had to ask for service, every wait staff I’ve had here is on their game. The food has always been great every time we go here. I’ll continue to go to this location based off of this. You really feel like one in the neighborhood here. Lots of TVs, plenty of tables, always hopping no matter what day of the week and the beer is always great.

This review if for the last time I went to this location…3 years ago. There is a reason this was my last visit. A group of friends and I decided that we wanted togo out to celebrate the fact that we had finally graduated high school. Albeit we were a group of 6ish teenagers, we were not your typical group. We were polite and just having fun talking. But that was the only good thing in the end. 1) the dishes were disgusting! Over half of the plates, glasses, and silverware had something on them. For a restaurant, that’s unacceptable because of the health code! 2) the server was kind of cold and distant the entire time. I get that nobody looks forward to large groups of teenagers, but like I said, we were being friendly and polite. When he finally brought us the bill, we had it split different ways and were checking it. We noticed we got charged for refills on items that the menu itself said were free refills, he tried to fight us on that so we got a menu to prove him wrong. 3) the menu was worded very confusingly. It said pizza with one topping was so much. Turns out that topping was cheese, what it already comes with. Overall, my entire group was completely appalled. I haven’t returned to this location since. I went to the one on 10th a few weeks ago, arms it was about 5 times better.

I spent every Sunday in 2014 at this location… in the bar… watching football. Met some great people. The staff is awesome! Never had a bad experience here. It’s a great place to watch football. Oh and the food is good too

Now the only reason this is getting a 3 star is because of the service it by far super ceded the food when restaurants stray away from why they started them in this industry it’s gets muddy if these owners don’t stick to the roots of the industry it’s only going to get worse stick to fresh food, a clean restaurant and great service(which Tyler provided phenomenal service) and customers other than regulars will come back please let me know if you want more detail

We sat in the bar to watch the steelers and patriots game this evening. Sarah M. was our server and she was excellent! She was quick, friendly and enthusiastic in the loud, chaotic environment. We will be back to visit while Sarah M. is working! Thank you!

I’m from Chicago and when I moved here I wasn’t impressed with the pizza but realized really quickly we’re not in Chicago and the pizza here really sucks! Big time! Unilocalers! help guide me where to find good pizza! Btw ! I like thin pizza like 90% of Chicagoans! Anyways with my ADD moment, I’ve learned to like Old Chicago! Now it feels like the typical chain! Dominoes! Yucky! I asked for what Chicagoans alike enjoy… Sausage pizza! I felt like the sausage came from a bag and spread on the already cooked cheese pizza! Man! This really sucked! Old Chicago ur right there with the sucky chains now! I think I just threw up in my mouth!!!

Walked into this location around 11:30PM and about walked out. Many tables were dirty and covered with glasses and plates. Managed to find a table that was reasonably clean. We had a great server named Tasha who was fun and engaging. She stopped by frequently and made sure we were OK on food and drinks. However, the location seemed somewhat dilapidated compared to other stores in the metro and appeared in need of a revamp. The food was OK by Old Chicago standards.

Been to this location a few times, they always have a good wait staff and great menus, I love the Italian Nachos, I hope those stay on the menu as they have changed it. Id like to sit in the bar area but it seems understaffed and it’s always very busy in that area so we just grab a table. The pizza is amazing and the pricing is decent.

Been coming here for years. Corporate is corporate so you get a lot of what you would expect from Old Chicago. Service is good depending on who you get. I try to stick around the bar area to make sure the service is good. Never had an issue with the food. Plenty of vegetarian option in the pizza/calzone/appetizer categories. Nothing too healthy that stands out other than your standard side salad. Their happy hour is more more tempting these days, 3 dollar beers, none of this«premium» crap anymore. I guess they realized that there are A LOT of great places they make their own beer these days. I would definitely recommend happy hour pub pizzas, pretty filling for 2 bucks!

I honestly have never been to this chain restaurant but luckily the job was feeling generous and free food is never, ever, ever, refused. So in we went, reception and eye contact were immediate, told the servers name by the hostess and she came promptly within 5 minutes and all this at 11:45am so hey whatcha want? Saw a voluminous menu for drinks & food(basically good old gastronomical overkill) done proudly the American way but you better watch the doubloons! Domestic bottled beer averaged 3 – 4 and the good stuff went north up to crazy amounts for super special brews like some Belgian something or other for over 5. The drafts were more sane with a good selection of local and usual suspects– 16 to 22 oz if I recall correct within $ 4 – 6. The cuisine was not so extravagant price wise and certainly matched the fairly generous portions other like restaurants like TGIF and Chili’s for the bang. I got a calzone(lunch size I guess?) that was around eight big ones and it was a disappointment in that– if it was hand made then C3P0 made it! The symmetry was geometrically perfect and the overall crust including the bottom was uniform with a golden brown appearance and the ever annoying steel grate texture on the bottom. But hey it hit the spot, ingredients were fresh and it tasted like an 8 – 9 on the flava scale. Would I return? Free always, but with my own coin maybe to try the pizza and a good paycheck. Hopefully it won’t be a too stamped product…

I have been wanting to try one of the Old Chicago locations since I moved here and finally got the opportunity. I ordered a 14′ thin crust with garlic, peppered bacon, and green onions to go. While I was waiting on the pizza to finish I had an Upslope draft, it was pretty good and they had a plethora of other choices of beer. As for the pizza, while it tasted really good and everything seemed to be fresh, the pizza was much smaller then what I imagined for something that was supposed to feed 3 – 4 people. We were a group of 4, one is a small eater that only took two small slices, and the rest of us were left pretty hungry. The service was all around pretty good and all the patrons there during the trivia were pretty nice and conversational as well. I would probably go there again but I would choose a better choice of pizza that will actually feed the group we have with us.

Hit up the Old Chicago in Arvada for some late night grub. We had a bad experience at the OC in Silverthorne so we had a our fingers crossed on this one. We seated ourselves since the waitresses wwere running around with drink orders and I let them know where we were. Waitress was nice said she would be right over which she was. Ordered water and it arrived quickly. Places the food order and it was brought out shortly and in order, apps first and soon followed by the main course, «Chicago Style» pizza which means thick dough pizza, not a problem there. All the food was presented well, served hot and tasted good. Over all above average pub grub, not too salty or greasy. Definitely another go to for our late night list.

I’m really not a fan of pizza, calzones and the like even though I will eat it when starving. On this particular night it was late and this place was in our cars view so we settled on this. Service was normal, not bad and did his job. Here’s is the rund down: Lettuce & Avocado salad w/caesar dressing on the side ½ order — Not Really bad, but not worth the $ 8.95, go to whole foods instead or even mickey d’s salad is much better. Dble mushroom & swiss burger cooked medium– No taste No Flavor and Just Bland!!! Everywhere is better for this burger than this place. Hubby had Meatball Calzone — I tasted his filling, but the ratio of filing to Dough was not balanced. It was Mostly ALL dough, but the filling was delicious and I usually don’t like mozzarella cheese with meat. They didn’t have Hot chocolate so I got hot tea, when I saw the tea bag he brought out, it was those nasty cheap tea’s that even the Dollar store doesn’t sale! I Will NOT be back to eat at this place, a Huge let down and I wasn’t even expecting much to begin with. The name is very misleading cuz they ain’t nothin Chicago about this place and I’ve lived there before, my bestie’s from their and ex fiancé. Maybe I’ll get pizza from them for take out one day just to see if that is Chicago like.

The pizza was spot on, probably the best I’ve had in years. The customer service… is another story. Not sure why it took 25 min to get our drinks or why they were wrong when we finally got them. Because the pizza is so good, I’m giving this OC3 stars.

After waiting nearly an hour we finally received our food. First time eating at this restaurant and was disappointed over all. Definitely not worth the price paid. Sauce was average. Average food. Pricing was more than expected for the quality of the food. It seemed to be more about the beer selection then the cuisine. We don’t drink and we were expecting it to be a food centered establishment but it didn’t end up that way. If you are looking for a good dine in pizza experience then perhaps look elsewhere.
