This review is for Tony only. He’s been taking care of me and my sister for couple years now and never disappointed us. I especially love the balayage hair color that he did for my wedding. Looks gorgeous on pictures and I received a lot of compliments from people. Make sure you make appointment with him ahead of time because he is very busy!!!

This review is only for Tony. He deserves no stars whatsoever! I’m sure he knows how to do hair, but he does NOT know how to do hair according to what his clients tell him. My sister recommended him to me, so I trusted her. Wrong choice.
My ombré was definitely color-​blocked. I wanted a n ombré/​balayage. He was done doing my hair (it took close to 4 hours) and the outside was very brassy-​looking. When you lifted up my hair, there was a straight line of color from light brown to dark brown. *SEE PICTURE* I mentioned it to him and he told me it will «go away when you wash your hair». It was my first time coloring my hair, so I believed him. He is a liar!!!
He’s very nice, very chatty, so I feel bad for writing this review. But I want to warn other women from trusting this man with your hair. If you show him a picture of what you want, believe me when I tell you this. It won’t come out the way you want. The same thing happened with my aunt. He does it HIS way and not his client’s way.
Two people in one family? I wonder how many other women’s hairstyles he has ruined. They probably don’t use Unilocal to complain about him. But I do, and I want everyone to be warned of TONY.
I went to Thuy at Rouge Salon in Costa Mesa and she fixed the mess that Tony left me with. Beware!

Thuy is my favorite, I’ve been going to her for years and after every appointment compliments pile on!

I got my hair cut by Tony and I absolutely love it! After having horrible experience I didn’t want anyone to touch my hair but he did an amazing job! I even made an appointment to have my hair colored I’m looking forward to his great work:) even with having so much hair and cutting it short he cut my hair for only $ 35 it was a great price for the great hair cut

Tony is not only good for long hair, he is great cutting short too. Appointment is not easy to get. You need to make appointment at least 1 month in advance. Been going to him for 2 years now. Affordable price with how meticulous he is. He does highlights well too.

I asked for a trim, what did I come out with? A bad taste in my mouth.
At first I asked her to give me a style that she thinks would look good and she gave me a book of male hair models, and that says a lot about my hair cutter already: that she’s a bad one. Even though I already knew she had little taste, I was thinking that even she could handle a trim… Worst decision that I’ve made in a while. I’m pretty sure a trim is just … well, trimming the hair. She squared off my sides which was like the only way to worsen my haircut. And although partly my fault, I did tell her whatever you think will look better.
Tldr: Although not exactly a bad haircut, bad service overall. I’d only recommend this place to people I hate. … Also the lack of decent English puts me off even though I myself am Vietnamese

I just got a hair cut with Tony for the very 1^st time and it was awesome! He explain everything about my hair and treatment. i was referred by a friend and it was absolutely perfect. I will come back to straight my hair this week! highly recommended

I just got my second haircut by Tony and This has been the happiest i’ve been with my haircut. He cuts my two brothers hairs and they both love it too. My brother did something completely different with his hair (comb over) and he loves it.
I love the way he styles my hair, as well. And he is very affordable! Cheaper than other hair salons and does a great job.
Would recommend him to anyone :)

If you’re here looking for a recommended hair dresser, then Tony is your guy.
I’ve gone through dozens of hair dressers, and have never really found the right hair dresser that actually listens to how I want my hair to be done until I was referred over to him.
What Tony does is, work with you, educates you, and has the best interest on any type of hair you’re seeking after. Tony is affordable, (what I mean by that) with his pricing and works with you to satisfy your «hair needs».
Lastly, he is up to date with the latest hair trends! Tony does his homework and is always updating and sharing with his customers about the hair trends as well.

TONY TONY TONY is very talented and helpful if you want to have beautiful hair!!! Just got back home from QT SALON and I cant be happier with my hair. Tony gave me lots of advice on color, and he did an amazing job with my hair. My husband has his hair done by TONY for over 10 yrs so he recommended me to go to TONY. 4 words: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TONY! After being recommended to him several times I’ve finally mustered the courage to hit him up. Since then I’ve never turned back. I’m pleased to say I’ve been going to him for over 5+ years and he’s never disappointed me! He’s very talented and keeps up with the latest trends. His latest style on me was a balayage with natural ombrè. He literally spent 2+ hours on my hair taking his time to perfect his work. I left confident and very satisfied. I’ve recommended him to many of my friends who are now his committed clients. I assure you, you won’t be disappointed. :)
Tips:
1) Call or text him for an appointment. He’s a busy man but he never turns down a client. *thumbs up*
2) Cash only!
3) If there’s a wait there’s a tebo tebo adjacent from the salon you can grub on.
4) Parking can be crazy so time accordingly.

I always go to Tony to make me feel beautiful! He is great at what he does, he’s up to date to what’s in style and trending and takes his time to make you look nothing less then gorgeous!

I will have to recommend Dennis because he is exceptionally good. I have been to many salons and many times the barber leans more towards his particular expertise and what you ask for is not quite how you like it. Dennis will cut it to how you like it. Hands down.
He is flexible in terms of scheduling and you may walk in or set an appointment.
Easy to converse with and down to earth. Great choice.

I would recommend Tony to anyone! I’ve been getting my haircut from him for a long time, and I’ve never been disappointed with a cut. I always leave more than satisfied with my haircut. I live about 20 minutes away (without traffic) and I don’t ever mind making the drive out just to get my haircut.
He gives the best advice for hairstyles and can even mimic other styles you see on other people through pictures if you show him. He also knows very popular hairstyles you see these days and can do your hair the way you really want it to look. Tony is an exceptional hair stylist and has amazing skill.

This review is strictly for TONY PHAM! He is awesome! He does a pretty good job with coloring and I always leave a happy customer. From traditional hair coloring to ombré he always exceed my expectation. He also gives honest advices and never try to up sell me. Should give him a try. :)

I was introduced to this saloon from a friend about an year ago and I am very glad that I now know this place. All the stylists know what their doing, they give you exactly what you want (example, when you want a trim, they’re not gonna cut like 2 inches off your hair like other stylists they give you a trim). I highly recommend everyone to try this place and you’ll be going there rest of your life.

It’s a little gem tucked away in this large plaza! My mom had been going to Tina for many, many years and so the daughters naturally followed along. My whole family, even the guys, now come to see Tina here. She’s fun, fast, and gives amazing haircuts. I recently got my hair colored by her and have gotten so many compliments! Also, going to other salons, you may get charged lots for a dye, cut, and wash, but she is extremely affordable. GO TO TINA! She is amazing and will work wonders with your hair!

I love coming here! Dannis does an outstanding job! He cuts all of my family’s hair. He listens to you when you tell him the style, length, and color you want! I’ve always left satisfied! Been going to him for 10+ years! He’s an outgoing, friendly, and very talented at what he does :)
