This is my favorite place to get an original drink(Jasmine Milk Tea) and it tastes amazing. Better than other places in my opinion. And I heard you can try samples which is what I’m excite for. And the staff are very nice

All too often do I find myself thirsty while out and about and TE is a great option to refuel. Not the fanciest location, but the service is great and they have an extensive menu. Never tried the food, but I love their slush, my favorite item here. Plenty of seating and drinks came out quickly, solid place to grab a quick drink.

The wait was not that long but I really liked their Thai Green tea and their California wings. I also highly recommend the honey green milk tea, super creamy and delicious. Servers are extremely friendly and quick. Place is very spacious and clean.

Wow, this place has been here for so long, and I’ve never got around to write a review on this. After years of not returning to this place, I was craving some popcorn chicken and was in the area so I stopped by. They haven’t changed a bit! Popcorn chicken came out to be about $ 4, pretty much the same as some other boba shops. If you’ve ever had Lollicup popcorn chicken, I would say they’re pretty much the same. Save seasoning, texture, etc. And that’s a good thing! I really like their popcorn chicken because the flavor is just right. The texture of this chicken is chewy, and not dry at all. Best part is that they offer condiments for free, unlike a lot of other places that charge you a few cents for it. What I don’t like is that the portion is small compared to other boba shops. It’s probably enough as one serving. Not really meant to share. I also noticed that the workers behind the counter seem a little bit disorganized. I noticed that there were people in front of me that waited a while for their orders, but somehow my order of popcorn chicken arrived even before their orders. I’m not complaining, but it just sucks to wait that long for drinks/snacks. Would I come back? Yeah, just for a quick popcorn chicken fix.

I didn’t really like their drinks here. It has an odd flavoring that isn’t suited to my taste. But I do recommend trying it out before taking my word for it.

This place seems like it’s under new ownership. They have more options now. And it seems cleaner. Everything my wife and I ordered was great. Jasmine tea, milk tea, popcorn chicken — standard boba shop stuff — but we’ll be coming back to try the new items. We saw someone order the earl grey tea and panda burger and that looked really good. The guy we spoke to who I’m assuming is the manager or new owner was really nice. Actually had a nice conversation and not just small talk. Wish I didn’t live so far. But always worth it when I’m in Westminster.

I like the place and their service. The girl on the cash register was very nice. I got my drink super fast. Very good place to stay and relax with friends. Good couches, flat tvs, and bathrooms. The only problem here is the parking, I understand isn’t their fault.

I came here for some boba after lunch in the plaza next door. The ordering counter is in the front right when you walk in and the place is spacious with lots of seats and tables for eating or just hanging out. In terms of the menu, they have standard milk tea drinks and different icie /slushie flavors, too. I’m not a big fan of the slush drinks so I opted for one of their newest flavors, the earl grey milk tea, which I was excited to try because it’s not a common milk tea drink at most boba places. It was really good with the right amount of tea and sweetness. The girl at the counter even gave us samples of what we wanted to try. In terms of the boba, it was the right texture: not too soft and not too hard or chewy. They also have a lot of different add-ins to choose from, such as different sizes of boba(including mixed, too) and jellies. One of the downsides of Tapioca Express is that you can’t customize the level of sugar /sweetness in your drink like some other places. Overall, this place would be good for coming here with your friends and hanging out while drinking boba and ordering food. I also think this place is good if you want some sort of ice blended drink with boba. In short, it’s a decent boba place but nothing special. If you’re stopping here to try a milk tea drink, there are better options nearby.

Really friendly and fast service! I am amazed at how they get our crazy orders right each time. My love for Boba tea comes goes and man did it come back with a vengeance! I want milk tea ALL the time these days. 7 leaves mung bean milk tea has been my go-to for a couple years now. But lately I just feel like I’m drinking che and not tea. Tapioca Express has definitely come through this week. If you ever get the munchies, I love the tea eggs and spicy fish balls. I noticed last time that they offer curbside pickup/orders now. How convenient! I docked one star because I hate the crowd that hangs out there. Makes it super loud and uncomfortable.

I came back after several years to try their Thai tea, Peach show bubble, and Strawberry milk tea with taro pudding along with an order of crispy chicken and was pleasantly surprised to find basil in their crispy chicken! Mmmmm, that’s the best part! Other than that, expect an upgrade for 75 cents and extras for 45 cents/each.

Was craving a drink so decided to stop by here since I was in the area. Busy plaza(same plaza as Snow Station) so parking can be pretty bad. Walked in and it seemed like a nice place to just hang out. People were on their laptops, they also have a couch and TV that you could watch. What I got: Regular Berry Green Tea Lemonade($ 3): I didn’t want a slush or a milk tea so decided to give this a try since the sign made it look so good! Not something that I expected though. Did come with fruit bits, couldn’t taste the green tea part of it and the lemonade wasn’t strong either. Not something I’d get again. Service: Friendly and quick. Place seemed a little dirty though and sticky by the couch area. So I guess you should just stick with the milk teas! Popcorn chicken looked good too so I’ll try that next time!

Awesome place to hangout with friends or just by yourself but still bring friends, and have a feast with delicious food such as popcorn chicken, jalapeño Peppers, fríed calamari, and cheese sticks. The drinks are good as well I just tried the passion fruit black tea with boba and it was delicious. The service was awesome, fast, and friendly. Play games and entertain yourself I know for a fact you can ask for chess and checker pieces but you can also bring uno or playing cards.

I really like this Tapioca Express. My drinks always come out good. Not too sweet or strong or powdery. The place itself is nice and has a lot of tables and couches and is a great place to hang out in. The have wifi and a TV playing. It’s never crowded when I come but never empty either. Parking can be a hassle since the area is tight and for whatever reason the people I encounter never know how to drive and are driving on the wrong side of the road. Service is great and you don’t wait long to get your drinks. I’m giving it 4 stars because once my drink wasn’t good and it was a Thursday afternoon so I just avoid coming at that time and day.

I’ve been going to Tapioca Express for yearrsss… I’d say for a decade or more now(various locations, not just this one). Back in the days, they were the first and only truly good boba joint. Now, there’s so many to choose from, and although I do go to other places, I still come back here because Tapioca Express is consistently good. My favorites to order are: Coconut jelly milk tea(green tea) Honeydew snow bubble(slushie) Watermelon juice Vietnamese iced coffee Cappuccino blended coffee(slushie) Fried fish balls(spicy pleasee!)

I’ve been visiting here every year and the food, drinks, and service is awesome. The employees were really nice and the food and drinks were excellent. My favorite beverage here are Taro Milk Tea and Thai Tea. My favorite food here are sweet potato fries and popcorn chicken. If you want some delicious popcorn chicken or boba, this place is my number one recommendation

Stumbled upon this interesting joint after my massage next door on this late Friday night and found myself mingled in a very vibrant Vietnamese crowd that slaps playing cards on the tables like nobody’s business. The noise level is pretty high together with the music but for some reasons I don’t mind it tonight probably because I feel more alive that way. I placed an order of a lesser-sweet Milk Frosti with Grass Jelly and Fried Octopus Balls with the front cashier gentleman and he is very friendly and wouldn’t mind explaining the different between the Milk Frosti ans the Yogurt Frosti to me. He must be the owner. Regardless, great service! Food came out pretty fast and it’s really tasty. I’m impressed. I’ll definitely try more items in the future.

I’ve been to other TapEx locations, but this is my first time at this one. The drink menu is pretty similar to all the others. Although, it was the first time I noticed that you could customize the level of sweetness for your drinks. I got the milk tea snow bubble which was delicious. I like getting snow bubble versus getting regular milk teas because they taste exactly the same, just in smoothie form and since I don’t gulp my drinks down within minutes, they stay colder while I drink it. My boyfriend got the banana milk tea and he loved it. He said it was like he was eating a banana. Not my cup of tea, but as long as he liked it. I also loved how they had a section on the menu listing drinks that they make with fresh fruit, which were lying around the place in cute crate. Too bad I am now allergic to fruits otherwise I would’ve given it a taste. The food menu was slightly different from other locations. Most of the snack foods were the same, such as fried popcorn chicken, calamari, etc. I noticed some new items on the menu such as popcorn chicken snack wraps, green waffles, fried rice, and chicken wings. We only tried the calamari rings. Even though the breading they used reminded me of the breading used for mozzarella sticks, it was still delicious. There was plenty of tables, chairs and couches to sit at, with people hanging out, doing homework, and even just a group of friends playing cards. Will definitely be back to this location since it’s much closer to my house!

I have been to plenty TapEx locations in San Diego, but never elsewhere. The menu(at this specific one) has its differences from the menu(s) that I’m used to. For instance, this location offers: green(tea) waffle, steamed egg bun, and squid balls. Very different. Speaking of the green waffle, it was good! I tried the free sample of it. My sisters and I went here because one of them had an appointment in the plaza, and TapEx was the quickest option food-wise. It wasn’t busy at all, which was good. The cashier was a cool dude. He was able to hold conversation and such, so his customer service was great. All three of us ordered the crispy chicken and rice combo, which is $ 5.99 and doesn’t come with a drink. In San Diego, the crispy chicken and rice combo comes with a green/black/etc tea for free – unless you upgrade – for about $ 8 or so. I bought a green apple tea drink in addition to the combo, and it ended up being $ 9.55, which would be pretty much the same thing if I were to upgrade my drink at a regular TapEx location. My combo had the most chicken out of all three, hooray. The egg wasn’t cooked the way I was used to – it was hard boiled and a different type of egg, but I’m not sure. One of my sisters had a bad piece of chicken, so she didn’t want to eat anymore. On the other hand, my other sister and I enjoyed our meals. It wasn’t as great in comparison to the TapEx locations here, especially in Convoy, but my drink was extremely delicious.
