So sad they are gone. I keep seeing they relocated, but no one seems to know where. If anyone knows can you post it please.

I was very sad when I found out they were relocating. This restaurant introduced me to many flavors and their complimentary Thai tea was delicious. I will miss them:(

I thought they said they were moving to a new location. Does anyone know where they went? Or did they just permanently close down? Please help me, I need spicy angel wings in my mouth. There’s nothing on their website. I’m having a mental breakdown.

This place is fantastic! There was no line, we were in and out with no problems! The service is impeccable, sometimes the servers treat me like I’m invisible, and I find myself talking to myself a lot. Maybe because they moved to a different location???

I’m a regular here… They have the best flavors and Thai food is my favorite so it can’t be less than delicious! My favorite items are the tofu pad Thai noodles, tofu or shrimp yellow curry, and their fried rices are bomb! They have dinner specials and the soup that usually comes with it, I get it with tofu no chicken it’s sooo good… I think they may be moving to Bolsa still not that far but if nothing changes, definitely worth the drive from Huntington Beach!

Lunch at Thai Princess was a last minute decision because it’s been years since we ate there. I can’t say we had an outstanding experience. The lunch offerings looked pretty fair at 8 – 10 dollars, but we wanted to do something different. We ordered beef pad se yew, pork satay, sweet and sour pork and white rice. The pad se yew had wide noodles, but came kind of dry and had an odd taste, not what we are used to and we’ve had plenty of Thai food experience. The sweet and sour pork came with the usual veggies and pineapple chunks, but the pork came in strips and the sauce was really too much liquid. We thought the pork sate was chicken because it was thin strip skewered and looked and tasted like chicken. When I asked to make sure it was pork, the server insisted it was. Well ok, the peanut sauce and cucumber vinaigrette made up for it. Rice was standard fare and we had to pay for a bowl of it. For dessert we opted to try the sweet rice with mango. It was a nice plate presentation and the sweet rice had a hint of coconut milk sweetness to it. The mango was ripe and artistically cut into thin strips and placed around the sweet rice in a valentine heart form. The service was fine, the drinks were replenished, the food was served and empty dishes removed. Pretty much standard and average. I think it will be years before we eat there again given all the other(some way better) Thai food places nearby to choose from.

Yummy food and great service! My first visit here and I will definitely return! I enjoyed an order of fresh shrimp spring rolls, mango w/sticky rice and a Thai ice tea! The tea was free with Unilocal check in! No complaints here!!! Yummmmm!

Thai Princess is highly overrated… Sure, the menu selections are many, but the food is very hit-and-miss and the service is borderline horrendous, definitely beyond slow and exceptionally impersonal. Visited here last weekend for dinner and the restaurant was 2⁄3 empty when we arrived, but it still took forever to get seated(we just stood in the doorway while the employees scuttled past us like we weren’t there). Then it took another 30 minutes and walking up to the counter twice to get someone to come take our order. It was difficult not to get up and leave, but my wife and I were hungry and didn’t feel like scouting out another place to eat. Once we ordered, the curries came out unusually fast. Seriously, McDonald’s would be jealous! However, it was instantly apparent they were using pre-made, very watered-down curries and simply adding pre-boiled vegetables upon order. This left the curry dishes a mushy, non-cohesive, overcooked mess, despite arriving at our table just minutes after we ordered. The best dish we tried here was the Pad-See-Ew, which was legitimate and tasted very good. For fun, we tried it with tofu and they did a good job getting a nice pan-seared texture to it. Of course, since the noodle dish had to be cooked-to-order, unlike the curries, it arrived quite a bit after the other dishes. Clearly, if you want the best this place has to offer, stick to the pan-fried dishes or soups and avoid the curries(such a shame!). All in all, Thai Princess is mediocre at best. That’s assuming you can survive the lack of service and actually make it to the food. This certainly isn’t somewhere I plan on revisiting when I’m back in town and I don’t recommend it to anyone. There are many other Thai places in the area and it has been my experience that most of them provide better quality food and, most of all, service.

I’ve been coming here for years and they get worst and worst with service and quality! I was there for lunch today and I’ve never been more pissed off at any restaurant in my life!!! An hour and a half later, I walked out! My goi soi was served to me without rice powder. The owner says they don’t have any rice powder at this time… Then why did you serve it? It’s one of the main seasoning of the dish!!! My simple over easy eggs was over cooked with no parts of the yoke remotely still raw! 1 ½ hours and sweet rice was not even ready, I kept being told 1 minute more… Chicken satay was thin as paper, over cooked, and dried out. It was like jerky! Fried wonton was burnt and the stuffing was a pea sized meat. I couldn’t even taste anything! I can’t even begin to tell you about the poor customer service the owner had! She had the nerve to demand that I pay for everything I ordered even if I didn’t eat it!!! I personally felt like I shouldn’t have to pay for anything but I know being a small business owner is difficult so I paid for 2 of the dishes I ate half of. What a terrible restaurant and owner!!! Don’t waste your your time coming here! I’m never coming back!

Haven’t been here in almost two years, and I got to stay the food and the service is wonderful. I’ve been to a couple of Thai places in SoCal, but so far nothing compares to Thai Princess or I should called it Thai Queen. Everytime I come here, I always get the Tom Yum Squid and pad Thai chicken and shrimp. My friend introduced me to this place a few years back; while in high school and kept coming back since then. Love their services and who can’t resist Thai food? Not this gal.

One of my favorite Thai food restaurants! Been going here since I was in high school for Saturday lunches and whenever I go back home to the fountain valley, Westminster area, I try to drop by for lunch. My favorite foods: Spicy catfish, Ong choy with crispy pork, and the tom yum shrimp. I like the fish because it’s not battered, but still crunchy and super flavorful. The Ong choy with crispy pork(you have to request the crispy pork addition) is a perfect blend of veggies and fried goodness, and the tom yum, always a perfect amount of spice. Would recommend those for folks! Oh! And don’t forget the coconut ice cream! Super yummy with real coconut bits inside. Service is generally really good because it’s never been extremely busy(nice place to have a quiet meal), and the wait time is very reasonable. Parking is also really easy to find, it’s in a plaza with a whole bunch of other stores/restaurants. Can’t wait to go back home to get some lunch there!

I had arranged to meet with my family to eat here at 7 pm December 14, 2015. We were seated and waited for awhile to order our food(were regulars and already knew what we wanted). Took them 20 minutes for them to approach us without even a full house. I’m literally here waiting(8:20 pm) still waiting for our food. This is not acceptable

I quite enjoyed my lunch here even though we were probably their first customers for the day. Their lunch specials are a steal. It ranges from $ 8-$ 9 which includes soup, salad, rice, and whatever entrée you pick from the list. I got the pad Thai and it was very good. No complaints ! The salad was surprisingly very delicious. I don’t know what dressing they used but I enjoyed it. The soup was a little too salty but it wasn’t bad. I also upgraded my rice to egg fried rice for $ 1 but it was alright. Wasn’t any kind of amazing fried rice. But you do get free Thai tea for checking in which was a huge plus :) My bf got the tom yum noodle soup. It looked like a generous portion. He seemed to like his soup. Staff was friendly and attentive. It didn’t take too long for our food to come out. I enjoyed our meal here and would definitely come back to try other entrees.

My mom and I were planning to go to Lazy Dog, only because we ran out of options lol, and stumbled upon Thai Princess. Boy, were we glad to end up here! The service was great, the waitresses were very friendly and nice, especially the lady with the glasses(Sorry hun, I didn’t get your name!). The food was super yummy. It’s actually authentic Thai food, and trust me, my mom and I are always on the hunt for some authentic Thai food. My mom ordered the papaya salad with dry shrimp(medium) and I ordered the basil chili chicken dinner special(mild). Papaya salad with dried shrimp — delicious. Papaya was shredded perfectly and the fish sauce was just right. Even tho we ordered it medium, I found myself sniffling and crying after my first bite lol. But that’s how it should be! A+ Chili basil chicken dinner special — the special comes with soup, fried rice, 2 dumplings and a salad. The soup was SOGOOD. It was a clear broth soup with chicken chunks and flat noodles, I couldn’t believe that was the soup they gave us! Usually at other restaurants, they give you crappy soup, BUTTHISWASDIFFERENT. If I could order that soup as an entrée, I would! The chicken was cooked perfectly, very juicy and flavorful. I really enjoyed my dish! A+++ I also checked in on Unilocal and received a free Thai iced tea, yum! So yes, I do recommend this Thai place! It’s a very chill, calm atmosphere with friendly people and good authentic Thai food. DEFINITELY coming back a lot more since their menus are gigantic. Literally there’s so many items lol. But that’s good :)

Yummy! Pros: The friendliness and service is outstanding. I’ve tried chicken satay in several Thai restaurants and this was my favorite. As a matter fact this is the only one I would order again in terms of chicken satay. The seasoning on the chicken was perfect and the peanut sauce was delicious. I also tried the yellow curry and ordered it mild, sans the carrots. I was hesitant because I normally get Massuman curry but I have to say this was absolutely delicious and I would definitely eat it again! They do give you a free Thai tea when you check-in. You can call ahead and they have easy pick up and parking. Cons: For some reason Rice is not included with the curry. That’s the first time I’ve encountered that at a Thai restaurant but my experiences are a few. Bottom Line: This place currently holds my top spot for Thai food in Huntington Beach/Westminster area.

Thai Princess is easy to find. This restaurant serves delicious thai food with fresh zesty sauces and lots of veggies. I enjoy everything i order here. The service, the timing, and the drink refills are all appropriate. There were only a few people in this restaurant, and we nearly walked away in favor of a more popular destination. We then decided to risk it. It was a great choice! We ordered the shrimp crackers with peanut sauce, the princess spring rolls, and a plate of shrimp pad thai to split between the two of us. The crackers quickly arrived — the peanut sauce was my favourite item ordered. The spring rolls, oddly enough, arrived with the main course. I didn’t particularly enjoy them, but my gf loved the rolls. Finally, the pad thai we split was delicious; the shrimp tender, the rice noodles perfectly cooked and coated in flavourful tamarind sauce. Furthermore, we both ate well for a total under twenty-five dollars! The incredible value of the meal is what put the restaurant over into the five-star range. The only complaints I might make are the decorations, which are a touch old-fashioned, and the fact that one appetizer came with the main course. But these are only details — I would whole-heatedly recommend this restaurant to others and would gladly visit again! Do not be deterred by its emptiness! Good food.

Free Thai Iced Tea or Thai Coffee with Unilocal check in! Went here for lunch with some co-workers and we ordered the lunch specials($ 8 and $ 9). They come with soup(egg noodle), salad, rice, fried wontons(chicken) and entrée. I had hoped the soup would be one of the more Thai type soups like tom ka or tom yum. For the entrée I ordered the chili chicken and it felt a little bland and nothing special. Everyone at my table was disappointed with the rice, which was undercooked and hard. Service was good, and the waiter did check in on us. Overall everything was just OK.
