XO Night Club

Cool place, owner is very nice, friendly, and good food. We been coming here for over 6 months it is fun there and no gangster want to be.

Nice little small and intimate lounge in Westminster. Located conveniently by Westminster City Hall and the Police Dept. I know this place is open other days but this is also the home of Club Bubbles every Saturday night, which is $ 10 to get in all night and has very reasonable drink specials. Plenty of room to park, a patio in the back for smoking and tables for bottle service. Keep in mind that Club Bubbles is a BBW/​Size acceptance event that occurs on Saturday night that plays mostly hip hop and may not be for everyone. The quality of the women are ok but could be better but it is diverse. The clientele can be a bit intimidating but is well behaved. For those that live in Long Beach and the OC, this may be something for you to do with all the options dwindling and that are not trying to go to Hollywood or Downtown L.A. The security there are ok to deal with but have a firm hand. This is mainly for those who want to turn up in a low key manner without the drama. Long Beach, Fullerton, Buena Park, Santa Ana and Anaheim are better options for nightlife.

Club bubbles on Saturday night is about as ghetto and ratchet as they come. The dj plays horrible Hood music, nothing popular or dance worthy and he is constantly sounding the horn like he is some dj up in Vegas. Seriously the dj is what kills it the most for me the music is straight up dirty south rap music, not the good hip hop people like to dance to. It really sucks. On to the bar, the Asian bartenders WILL rip you off. They charge $ 6 for a PLAIN coke, no alcohol. They drinks are never the same price. The white boy bartender charges the cheapest. The Asians will argue with u that they just put it into the cash register and charge u what it says but Why is it they will charge $ 16 for a fireball and coke and one plain coke but the white boy only charges $ 11 for the SAME EXACT THING! I always drink in the parking lot before I go in now so I only have to buy one drink inside bc I’m always ripped off. Six bucks for a plain coke? How about showing some love for the designated drivers.
Don’t get me started on the quality of people who go to this club. I’m a big girl so I go bc it is a size acceptance club but it’s mostly regulars and they are usually ratchet. We love to go and watch them playout their fantasy of dancing like a stripper for a bunch of thirsty guys that stand around watching these big girls make fools of themselves. Speaking of guys, most these guys WON’T buy a lady a drink, but come 1:30 they are cruising that dance floor looking for something to take home. It’s pretty much all ghetto ass black dudes looking for a desperate fat chick. But there’s plenty to choose from so I see Why they frequent the spot.
Bottom line, it’s entertaining if u like to watch desperate ratchet fat chicks dance like they think theyre strippers but plan on leaving with a headache from the overly loud ghetto music and an empty wallet from being ripped off by the bartenders. Oh the Asian karaōke in the room next-​door is pretty funny to watch!

Hip Hop in the OC??? Yes, right here in the XO Lounge! Every Saturday night they have the Best DJ spinnin the newest, hottest tracks. Security is on point, the drinks are strong and the crowd is super chill. Only $ 10 bucks entry to party like you’re in LA. I’ll take that!

Poop poop place.

On June 30^th my brother and I had our birthday bash here at XO Lounge! We rented out the whole venue for only $ 500. Every staff was so sweet, especially the bouncer Charlie and our bartender Kurtis! They were such sweethearts and made the experience memorable. I’m so glad my brother and I chose XO Lounge for the venue. If you’re looking for a venue for your next big event I highly suggest XO! You wont be disappointed :)

I’ve been here before and it wasn’t quite as busy as this pass Thursday night.
The girls were definitely rocking the dance floor. Live DJs spinning to house, new waves, and hip hops.
Check this place out if you’re in the area.

Hum… got mixed feelings about this place. On one side, I think Amber is super sweet and an awesome host. On the other side, I just don’t think XO is really all that.
Free cover is great. The lounge area is great too. Unfortunately, you go to places like XO if there’s a certain crowd there. At midnight on a Thursday night, there were only at most a dozen people there. Not really a place to go people watching or to talk with your own group. The music, though good, way too loud for a lounge setting. I had to scream into my friend’s ear the entire time there.
Yelled at Amber too. She’s sweet… but I’d rather see her outside of XO.

So while I sit here and nerd it up waiting for Excel to run a query I thought I’d write a quick review about XO Lounge.
There are two things that I love about XO Lounge:
First has to be the music on Wednesday nights. Yes, I said Wednesday night. Sometimes you just need to get out on hump day to give you a little momentum to get you through the rest of the week. Don’t judge me. Anyway, the trance/​progressive/​house type music spun by DJ Mikey P is perfect for getting you up and pumping your fist. Who doesn’t like a little fist pumping?
The second is definitely the wonderful and beautiful cocktail waitress, Amber. She is funny and attentive and has a pretty interesting magic trick. I don’t know that I’d recommend you ask to see it, but if you’re really curious, like I was, go for it. It’ll probably help to get you in Amber’s good graces. She also came up huge for me during my «Get Your Drink On, Korean Style» UYE by getting everyone in for free on a Saturday night. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
So all in all, if you’re feeling a bit lethargic and need something fun to do on a Wednesday night, I’d definitely recommend XO Lounge. No cover + good music + awesome staff = a good Wednesday night.

Ok, I don’t ACTUALLY hang out here. I just go here because it’s attached to Bleu, one of my favorite Karaōke places.
That said, for the young-​ish (20’s– 30’s) Vietnamese crowd, the vibe seems to be good.
The music is always on target and although this part of the lounge is only mid sized, they do manage to pack it with enthusiastic party goers.
Great place for the girls to hang out without being stalked, it seems, and everyone seems to get along well here. Never seen any drama here.
The Deejays know the crowd, pander to them with their favorite tracks and keep the energy level high.
Bar service is always good here and the sound system is more than adequate.
Great place to grab your girlfriends and let them get their freak on with the DOuchebags stalking you.

There are few faster ways to get me to look up an establishment of alcohol-​consuming repute than to show me softcore shots of a fit waitress’ glutes in crackingly bethonged boy-​shorts as the intro image of your Unilocal page. And why not? OK, one reason why not is that «working girls» are a hard sell. They just want to get home and have their dog lick their, ahem, aching feet, not get chatted up by some lame geezer who thinks he has game. But I forget this set of facts when confronted with ostensibly tasty glutes. I am told it has something to do with blood flow, but I am no scientist.
BUT WAIT! It’s false freakin’ advertising! That er, um, lady wasn’t working the night I was there. And the group photo… I didn’t see one of those fresh model faces. I asked for Amber and requested a magic trick as suggested by another reviewer, and the Amber that came over thought I was putting some seductionist move on her, had no idea what I was talking about and split in frustration. I guess some 40% of girls there must be named Amber. Or April. Or Ashley. Or Mai Li.
In any case, if you do shots, you will be OK. My $ 11 Grey Goose martini, up, sure tasted like well vodkies, and this nose does not lie to me about that sort of thing.

This place was recommended to me and my friends by a local gal, and she mentioned that Tuesday was taco day. We really didn’t expect much, just a lounge to chill out since we’re from out of town.
DAMN those were good tacos. Maybe we’re from Canada so we have crappy selection in Mexican food, there were 2 cooks and they kept a good choice of meats, toppings and sauces for you to make your own fresh authentic taco. Its pretty much free, when you order one drink you get 2 taco tickets, but the waitress just gave us a handful. Plus we drink a lot, there’s no way I could eat that many tacos.
Drinks were same price as any other regular lounge. My friends said the drinks were stiff and got stiffer as the night went on, that’s great! Music was good, hip hop mostly the nights we went.
The waitresses were awesome, we asked them about places to go around the area and they were happy to give us suggestions. Our waitress paid attention when our drinks ran low, but when the night got busy we had to flag her. They’re also really good at keeping the vibe up, smiling and dancing through the night. Saying hi to you at the right times to keep your energy up.
We did come back on a Saturday before we left California, just for a few drinks before bed. The place and Bleu next door was packed, a good mix of people on the XO side, but mostly guys. Bleu looked more fun but it seemed to be someone’s birthday or something.
SUGGEST: Coming in for Taco Tuesday you won’t regret it. And don’t eat beforehand like I did, I wasn’t hungry enough so didn’t eat as much tacos as I wanted to. 2 tacos with your beer? That’s a deal! I could see myself here most Tuesdays if I lived in the area.

I haven’t been to this lounge in forever! I came here on a thursday night, a friend of a friend was spinning. So we went to show some support. When we arrived there around 1045pm, there were only 5 other ppl in this place. IT WAS DEAD! Everyone was on the other side in club Bleu, vietnamese karaōke night!
As the night progressed more friends came rolling thru. So the night got better. But anywhere i go I always make the best of it! Ordered 2 drinks total came out 2 $ 17! (grey goose red bull and jack and coke) The bartender made all our drinks stiff. So by my 2^nd drink in i was pretty buzzed. hahahaha
The staff is awesome! The amibiance was great plasma tvs everywhere!
Good times with the friends :) and great hip hop music (not that im biased or anything hehehe: P)

Came here for taco tuesday with a buddy and her cousin. Oddly enough at the door I was checked by a security guard with a metal detector (random)
We go in, it’s dimly lit with a couple basketball games on and a dj playing really loud hip-​hop. We manage to grab a table with the leather couches and order our drinks. But with the drinks here you normally get 2 tickets for tacos… our server hooked us up with 12!!!
The girls and I go out on the smoking patio where there’s a little silver cart set up cooking fresh taco shells, beef, pork, and chicken. The taco’s also have a condiment bar with lime, onions, grilled onions, cilantro, and 3 hot sauces
We head back inside to eat but I feel a little out of place eating at a lounge, especially when the music is as loud as a club and the smoking patio’s smoke is congesting the inside.
But I have to admit the tacos were legit, very authentic street style tacos and pretty damn tasty, I couldn’t pick a favorite so I just got one of each every time. After putting down my corona and 9 taco’s (I had the beer munchies: P) I decide that going home to sleep would be a better option than hanging out with the lounge crowd
Oh and fellas make sure you meet Amber (you really can’t miss her) she’s a real sweetheart and she does this little trick that really blows your mind away!!!

I just have 2 things to say about this place…
1) Taco Tuesdays. Buy a drink and you get 2 free tacos! And these tacos are the authentic kind! So delish!
2) The hottest, friendliest, coolest, and funnest waitress there and my friend: Amber. She’s a great reason to come in.

Came here last Saturday and was surprised by the change! Doesn’t look like the crappy old Bleu anymore. And there were these really HOT gogo dancers that all the guys were drooling over! The gogo’s were so friendly and nice, my guy friends said they are going to come back next week just to see them! They drinks were great and service too!

I came here on the curiosity and bombardment of advertisements during the previous NBA playoffs when I missed my chance to check it out. XO Lounge is conveniently located right next to the infamous Bleu Restaurant within the Westminster area. Inside it’s somewhat spacious and quaint with the XO girls in their tight black panties or booty hugging shorts it makes you wonder how many XO (s) they gather on a weekly basis.
Three names come to mind when having my XO cherry popped: Emily, Minty, and Amber. Let’s start with Amber, she actually made a difference as to whether or not I would really enjoy this place. I came here with one of my friends just to see if it was all worth it. Compared to a lot of my visits in other local Vietnamese Coffee Shops she was pretty damn friendly and entertaining. Even convinced me enough to take some Bacardi shots with her for the good times to roll. So management, if you’re reading this keep her, she knows how to deal with customers properly.
Minty, was one of the bartenders at the bar. She was courteous and took my drink orders promptly since they weren’t so busy. The drink orders were as follows:
–2 Red Headed Sluts
–2 Jake and Cokes
–2 Crown and 7UPs
With all the drinks put together (stiff but smooth), I think I spent about a good $ 45.00 plus tax and tip. Emily was a decent clean up crew and follow up server, after Amber preoccupied herself with other customers in the premises. Conversed with us for a bit before we headed out for the rest of the night. Overall, for a fairly spacious lounge in Westminster I wouldn’t mind visiting again (unfortunately I’m out of the area =(). I hope you guys have more happy hour services in the future, otherwise thanks for everything XO!

The Good: It’s all about TACO TUESDAY, seriously. These are like the best free tacos that I’ve ever eaten. I would even pay for these, good like taco truck good. The venue is basic and it looks like a club that puts tables and chairs out during the day. The service is great and the waitresses are cute. Michelle was our server for the night, cute and made sure we had everything we needed. Plenty of tvs and a big projector screen in front.
The Bad: Like Peter Y. said, it’s really 2 places Bleu and Xo and it’s a bit confusing. I went into the Bleu side and thought it was Xo. The place was empty and I sat down all alone. I noticed that some people were walking into the other side so I walked over and found out that was Xo. The place gets busy, by half time it was a full house. I wasn’t a fan of the place turning into a club at half time and as soon as the game ended.
