I know NOTHING about cars but every time I have a problem that no one else seems to be able resolve, the nice guy at Cooper’s seems to manage to resolve. And, always at a reasonable cost. This guy is the greatest and a terrific resource!

Needed wipers for my Volvo, Volvo dealership wanted $ 80. Coopers did it for $ 40 and even installed them. I loved the guys who run this place… they really are just like the Car Talk guys! We talked about old cars, about electronic ignitions versus the old fashioned distributors where u had to manually set the gap on the points… about ‘90s car construction versus late models. They even knew about my old Rolls Royce (I had a ’79 Silver Shadow until 2007). Visiting this place was like a time warp. Can’t wait to go back.

Cooper’s Auto Parts is AWESOME.
The guy that owns it (Cooper) calls everyone «Boss». That’s the first sign that this place rocks.
The interior looks like nothing you’d find in Westport. It’s disorganized and a little chaotic, but if you know what you’re looking for then Cooper will hook you up.
They’re the Car Talk guys of Westport. Just go in and chat with them. Their parts are pretty cheap, competitively so. If they don’t have it, they’ll tell you where to go to find it.
I’ve purchased alternators, lights, wheels and who knows what else from this hidden gem of Auto Shops. Go support the local biz and screw Auto Zone.
