Best bacon, egg and cheese in Fairfield county!
Most mornings on the way into work I will stop by for a breakfast sandwich and coffee for the commute. The food is always excellent and the morning staff are really great. On weekends I sometimes swing by with my young daughters and during the week they are always asking how they are doing.
If you want a great sandwich at a friendly place, this is your stop!

Location is great, attitudes are terrible! The food is not good and they are shady! I heard them whispering about being out of something but making it anyway because I won’t realize it until later. Another time made me something dripping in oil, I returned it, they remade it, then they charged me. What? And empty cannolis? I mean really?

I love this place !! I stop here every morning on my long commute into work — I fuel up, grab a fresh cup of coffee and sandwich. It’s extremely convenient right off of the parkway. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the food is fresh, plentiful and priced well.
You can’t stop at this store and leave without a cupcake (or 6) — they are to die for and a MUST for anyone stopping in.

This is an OK deli if you want a convenient stop for an egg sandwich or coffee. The lunch selection is standard. The cupcakes look pretty are dry and boring, and we bought a box of cannolis for $ 2 each and when we brought them home they were hollow. Only the ends were decorated. WHAT?!!

Ewe /I’m the Duchess of a place I despise.
These people are rude and obnoxious.
They do a phenomenal business catering to those workers stopping by for lunch looking for heaps of meat on average bread. Very low end and not in line with the typical high end offerings in Westport.
I could make this a daily stop. I tried to get burgers for the dog here on several occasions but they literally charge more for meat patties than in many high end NYC establishments.
Forget it if you are a vegetarian. Your choices consist of boiled veggies with lots of cheese on average bread. The kind of stuff that leaves you bloated for 24 hours.
Even visitors I send to this place, say they will never return.

Nice little store fast service… The counter lady looks like she’d rather be else where but hey I would to. Samwichs are great. You’re better off going with a large because a small is to small. Chicken cutlet is banging.

I love The Country Store sweets… the Red Velvet Truffles are to die for! Every cupcake I have tried has been delicious but if you really want to treat yourself well try the Linzer Tarts nothing better on earth!

I have to write a review for the Country store because if you live anywhere close to this deli — you MUST go!
Sandwiches to get: Italian grinder with extra pickles & roasted red peppers (and if you are feeling extra awesome get the Italian seasoning on top!) I think I ordered this sandwich for 4 years
Chicken Parm: I don’t know what it is about chicken parm, but the Country store’s is THE best I have EVER had
Tuna Sandwich: anytime you get tuna, the break should be toasted, if you get it at the country store make sure you ask for their balsamic dressing on it as well (it is the perfect combination of sweet and vinegar)
Roast Beef: its homemade — nuff said!
Chicken Fingers and Fries: when i was child, this is what I would always order (ask for honey mustard!!!)
Call in your order if you are in a hurry!
