I’m gonna go ahead and give this place 5 stars because they deliver!!! The food was probably 4 stars, I had the pasta Monica and the sauce is just missing a little something. I also wish some kind of dip came with the onion ring appetizer. Otherwise great variety, good taste and low prices! Really how can you complain about any of that?! Will definitely become regulars of this place.

The food was okay and there was a lot of it. I just wasn’t really blown away with it. I’m not saying I wouldn’t eat here again, because I might. Although with the inclusion of a hookah bar, I’m not going to take my kids.

my husband and I went there for the first time. We had a coupon from living social. The waitress was nice. My husband got the steak and salad. He said it was good. I had a piece of the steak it was ok. If your looking for a juicy tasteful steak keep riding. I had the Pilly cheese steak more like shredded roast beef the cheese over powered the sandwhich not enough onions or bell peppers etc. doesn’t look nothing like the picture they show in the menu. But the fried pickles are good. My onions rings would had been better if they was hot and coming out of fresh grease. The time you wait for your food makes just wanta get up and leave. We actually was the only two in there for about 10 min so I don’t believe we should have waited that long. My husband said he would prolly go back on a lunch break. But me prolly not unless I call ahead and want something simple

This was me and my mom’s first time at this restaurant and to be honest, I expected better. Starting with the good part, the waitress that served us was super attentive and nice, and the shrimp was really good. The bad part is everything else. The salad was bland and the dressing did not help it at all, but the steak was the worst. For a Ribeye steak, I expect some fat, but this steak was at least 90% fat. It was very chewy, stretchy, and overall not very good. if you are going here expecting a good steak, look else where. This isn’t the place for good steaks.

Great service! I usually get the corn bisque and my husband gets their burgers, which are pretty big! I wish the loaded baked potato came with more because of the price. I usually end up going in my fridge to add more to it. I NEVER get any of their fried food because it always looks and taste like they didn’t change the grease.

Yesterday my husband and I went to Westbank Grill. My husband ordered grilled chicken sandwich with a side of onion rings and I ordered fried catfish with a side of French fries. The food was fresh and service was good, prices were reasonable, very clean dining room and what I could see of the kitchen. My husband said his sandwich was just ok and said the onion rings were fantastic. The fried catfish was good and the fries were ok. The tartar sauce was weird. It was not what you would normally expect, it was more like a weird remoulade sauce. I get food from this restaurant every few months. I have had better seafood from other places but it’s convenient and close to my home. Westbank Grill isn’t a bad place if you’re looking for a decent meal at a reasonable price.

Been here about a handful of times already. And each visit was a pleasant experience. In the short amount of time coming here I had ordered their grilled hamburger, shrimp poboy, pasta Monica, and gyros. Majority of the food I ordered were good and plentiful. Fair prices too. The only food I didn’t enjoy much is the grilled hamburger. The beef patties were way over-​cooked to almost burnt. And I think the buns were toasted because it’s very dry and tough.
The waitstaffs were all wonderful! Each time to go there it’s always different servers. But all waitstaffs are very friendly and welcoming. Loved it whenever servers greet you with a smile. Assurance that you’ll have a pleasant dining experience. FOH get 5 stars!
If everything stays the way it is now then they will surely have more loyal patrons in the years to come. Myself included of course :)

Really good corn and crab soup. Not so great buffalo wings. The sauce was just not right. The shish kebab wasn’t bad but very skimpy for 14 bucks. The olive oil they used that day tasted rancid. The owner was upset I mentioned it but was polite enough in his fashion. Our waitress was amazingly sweet.
We might try it again sometime.

Came here for the first time tonight. I got the Beef Shish Kabob… the meat was good and the hummus was good but the pita bread it came with was super hard and stale. The rice that it comes with is obviously from a box and the salad came with no dressing and pickles on top. Wasn’t that great. Apparently the wings, shrimp and sandwiches are good, but my family didn’t think it was outstanding. The server was really nice as well. However, being the only people in the place it took a really long time to get food.

Great place for New Orleans style food… seafood poboys, platters, burgers, etc. and delicious home made cakes for dessert. I had the shrimp platter with medium shrimp and fries which were delightfully crispy and tasted great. The portion was enough to satisfy my hunger. Atmosphere is great with a seafood theme on the walls and register counter. Best of all was the service, owner and staff are very friendly, great table service. The only reason I did not rate it a 5 is because I have not found the perfect seafood place yet where all dishes are out of this world… but I would definitely dine here again, I highly recommend it.

We went here for lunch today, service was okay. Food took a while to come out (about an hour. Which is not good if I was on a lunch break) Didn’t get my appetizer. Fries was cold and so was the poboy…

Food … a big 5 stars plus. Price … a big five stars too! Wait staff … A big 5 stars toooo. So is it a fifteen star eatery?
Had the two oysters, two scrimp, and two fish. With it you get a choice of side dishes. Yum! Could not eat it all. This was for like 12 dollars. In California it would be 22 dollars.
Talked to the owner who said he just took over the place a month and a half ago. Wish I lived here, would try lots more on the menu. He said he goes to the pier and buys the scrimp off the boats direct, which again were awesome.
Pretty big selection to pick from. The wait staff are Johnny on the spot asking if refills are needed.
Everyone appeared to be awake and care about their jobs. I had a very good experience. Would definitely recommend the establishment.

Prices are cheap. Really enjoyed the shrimp and the service, I mean I got tons of shrimp for like $ 8. But… the sides were god awful. You can tell they don’t make they their and that they were probably frozen food section sides. I will literally never go back here ever again. Not because of how terrible it was… but because I plan on never being in Westwego, LA again. But you never know homie. You never know.
