Carlsons Paint Glass and Art Stores

Carlson Glass is a reputable glass shop with good customer service and quality work. They stand by their work and care about their customers. They came to my house and gave me a free inspection. Within a few weeks my glass door was done and it was delivered.
After calling other glass shops, I felt that they offered a fair price with a good delivery service. I called other shops that wanted very high delivery prices and contracted out their delivery work which affected the hours available for delivery.

Carlson’s is a pretty big art supply store with some beading materials and wallpaper attached. I’ve been shopping at Carlson’s since I was a little kid. My sister in law and I come up with some random craft projects and Carlson’s usually has what we need to complete them.
This time around the sis-​in-​law wanted to take a beading class. So, I went along for the ride. First, trying to pick just enough beads for a bracelet and earrings is extremely difficult. They have so many gorgeous beads to choose from. A very large selection of both color and style. It was just the two of us for the class, and while the teacher was very nice, she wasn’t a great teacher. We did both make it out of the class with a nice bracelet and earrings each, but I doubt we needed a teacher for 95% of the process. The bracelet was $ 20 and the earrings $ 5, I didn’t figure out exactly how much the beads would’ve cost on their own, but I think we got a pretty good deal.
If you’re looking to break into the world of glass beads and simple jewelry making, a class at Carlson’s is worth the money. If you are capable of reading directions and looking to do more than just 1 piece of jewelry, skip the class and just buy the tools for yourself.

This is a very nice art supplies store! The people who work here are very nice, and they have all types of art supplies. They also provide the school supplies packages that we buy from school for elementary and middle school levels. I really like wandering around this store with my friends.

A great place to wander around! They have lots of art supplies, including easels here. I was looking for one at Christmastime and they had a wide variety to choose from. The sales associate helped me pick out a tabletop easel which was small and not too expensive. He could have talked me into the big one, which was more money, but he listened to my needs and did a great job!
Recently I went here for the elusive school supply — flair pens. Now you can get a pack of 12 for $ 17 at Office Depot, but when you only need 4 why do that? Every year there is something on the list that is hard to find and you can get it here! That’s because when you can order the school supply kit from the PTA, they have it made here!
I subtracted a star for the prices here. They are kind of high, but it’s probably to pay for the rent on that prime downtown Wheaton location!
