La Mode Hair Salon

I just got a haircut with Frances today and it came out great! She was recommended to me by several people who had some nice, chic haircuts. Here in the suburbs there are many «stepford wife» types who all wear the same clothes and have the same haircut. It was so nice to see some gals with some trendy hairdos!
The salon itself is small and Frances washed my hair as well as cut and dried it. She was the only one working today. She asked me lots of questions about what products I used and when, but there was no big push to buy her products.
I would have given her 5 stars, but I didn’t like how she had someone getting color the same time as me. I had to wait a few minutes from my appointment time while she finished someone before me. Then during my cut, I had to wait while she washed out the other customer’s haircolor. I know, I’m turning into a grumpy old lady, but for a first appointment, I wanted her full attention, not to be second on the list.
