The service was amazing! The doctor explained every part of the examination and the guys who work the front even stayed past closing to get my glasses to me same night. Highly recommended.

I have rather specific needs since I do very fine work on small items and I have to wear a space suit so I can’t take glasses on and off while doing this work. I had to go back twice to get the exact right prescription that worked for me but the doc was absolutely dedicated to getting me the best glasses possible. Also the guys in the shop portion were very helpful with helping pick out frames and with fitting them to my apparently lopsided head. Love the glasses I ended up with. In the past my new glasses have always taken a little bit of getting used to but these ones I was immediately wowed by when I put them on.

From the guys who work the desk to the actual eye doctor everything at this place was just GREAT. Not your regular eye doctor place I’ll tell you that. They’re welcoming, patient and helpful. I LOVED this place. Thanks boys!

Over-priced jerks. I only had to call this location to find out they over charge for contact lenses and they are total jerks. I called to see how much they charge for contact lenses– they quoted me $ 70/box. Every other location in the area I have called so far has not quoted more than $ 40/box. That is ridiculous – $ 70 for a box(6 lenses) of contacts. And the guy was a snarky tool about the interaction as well. Won’t be going here and if you do, be prepared to get royally bent over on contact lens prices.

I can’t say enough great things about my experience here. I have never been so happy with the level of customer service and attention as I am with every staff member at Pearle. Especially Tony. He is the prime example of what customer service should be. Everyone who owns a retail store should rent an hour from him and take notes on how to train employees to maximize customers. Just an all around excellent experience, through in and through out. I was going to My Eye Doctor on Rockville Pike for years prior to coming to Pearle. They were the ruddiest, most money hungry animals I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. Do yourself a huge favor and visit Tony and the guys at Pearle Vision in Wheaton. You will never go anywhere else. I can assure of that much. Thanks Gentlemen!

I’ve been going to this Pearle Vision for years, and everyone on the staff greets me like I was family on every visit. They are very pleasant, fair, and offer one hour service in many cases. They honor my insurance for great discounts, and when my prescription changed a few times after cataract surgeries, they replaced the lenses free. And, it was their optometrist who was honest enough to tell me years ago that to improve my vision, I’d need cataract surgeries, and referred my to Br. Baum, the best in his field.

Unfortunate experience is all I can say. The scenario is, you’re examined and prescribed lenses to correct your vision. You then order a frame and select customization features like anit-glare coatings, anti scratch, etc. But when you get the glasses back, how do you know any of the customization you ordered are actually part of the lenses that are delivered to you. When you start wearing the lenses, you have to adjust to the difference the corrections make, so you’ll likely dismiss any discomforts that exists, like strange glares, even if you ordered anti-glare lenses. What you don’t realize is that you’re probably wearing lenses that don’t have any of the features you ordered and paid for. The reason for the omission of the features is obvious. If Pearle omits it from the order process, and just orders untreated prescription lenses, the markups for the extra features is 100% profit. The bottom line is, I’m pretty sure I’m wearing a pair of sunglasses that don’t have the anti-glare lenses that I ordered from Pearle Vision in Wheaton, that are supposed to have anti-glare lenses. I’ll be returning them in frustration, because I don’t beleive this was simply a mistake. BEWARE!

I think these guys are great. Here are my experiences: — When I went there several years ago, I got a pair of glasses that I hate. They let me return them and made me a new pair with new frames. I gues this is company policy, but they were very nice about it. — When I went back this year to replace that older pair, a guy named Rob actually picked out the perfect frames for my very high prescription, and I now have the first pair I’ve ever had that I wasn’t embarrassed to be seen in. No more coke bottles. All three guys I’ve talked to there have been very nice and accommodating, even when we stayed beyond the closing time. I’ll go back there whenever I need glasses. Great customer service.
