I go to Paulie G’s at least twice a week. I look forward to seeing what’s on their daily specials menu. By far the best Deli that I have ever encountered in my life. I have yet to be disappointed. The employees are wonderful, and the food is amazing. The sandwiches are big and filling.

Sandwiches for the group, quick and efficient off Route 10. Deli and a separate menu have sandwiches — somewhat confusing. Size — good size on the portioning(many split the sandwich for two), and the toppings fairly standard — onions, tomatoes, lettuce. Oil and vinegar are weak, though, could have used a heartier portion on those. Could have really used something to soften up the hard bread — some pickles and/or mayo on the #4 and will have to try their hot sandwiches at some point. And will have to see how they do with catering!

Hands down the best deli in the area! Breakfast or lunch this place is a must. Super stuffed sandwiches! Excellent daily specials and a friendly staff. I use them for business and personal parties and have never been disappointed. Must stop if in the area.

It started about a year or two ago, when I was sitting in my car on Unilocal around lunch time at work deciding what to eat. I had been on roll, trying out various delis in the East Hanover, Whippany, and Florham Park areas. I had tried Irvine’s, The Great Wazu, and Esposito’s. Yet none were particularly impressive or memorable. But then back on that day I stumbled upon Paulie G’s. Nestled near some train tracks in Whippany lies Paulie G’s Deli. Within, you can choose any number of sandwiches made to order. Usually, I head to their Facebook page to check out what specials they have for the day and call ahead during the busy lunch hour(you can get an estimate as to how long the wait would be). I’ve eaten here too many times to recount, pretty much 90% of the time I order one of their specials for lunch – it’s nice to have variety everyday for lunch. They have fantastic sandwiches and specials which is exactly why I keep coming back. If you’re in the area, give them a try! Also, if you don’t know, they also have a Bistro located on Route 10(right next to the gas station).

Tried this place out because of the good Unilocal reviews… and was not disappointed. We had the Cheesesteak Sandwich & the Meatball Parm sandwich. They were both very flavorful and served in generous portion sizes. The bread was apparently from Sorrentos bakery, and had a very good consistency for the sandwiches. Had a slight issue, but Paulie was on it immediately, and took care of it right away. Friendly and professional people. We will be going there again, and looking forward to trying out their sister restaurant on Rt. 10 West… Paulie G’s Bistro and Pizzeria.

I’ve ordered take out /delivery 3 times with different office colleagues at this bistro/deli. Each time everyone was pleased with their items and no complaints were heard. The process was painless and pleasant. Other colleagues who saw the food asked where I ordered from and wanted to see the menu. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality. The prices were reasonable for the area so this deli is book marked. It is a busy little deli and once you taste the food you will understand why.

Drove past it once on Parsippany rd., then pulled into the wrong parking lot(comic store), finally found parking for this place is in the back off Patriots Path. Kinda small, but it wasn’t busy a little after lunch time so it wasn’t a big deal. I had a prosciutto, genoa, and provlone sandwich on italian bread. Too much prosciutto for my tastes so I’ll try something else when I go back, which I will. It was about 9 and change for the sandwich and a bag of chips.

Can’t believe I’ve lived so close to this place for 16 years and never even knew it existed! It’s tucked away behind a main road so it’s easy to drive right by it. I ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich with mozzarella and balsamic vinegar. Everything about the sandwich was perfect. Fresh ingredients. The chicken was a nice cut that was breaded and cooked to perfection. The sesame bread was fantastic. Flavors were just amazing. Huge sandwich for $ 8.50. It was huge but I finished the whole thing without a problem because it was so good. And it didn’t give me that gross over eating feeling afterwards! Will definitely be back!

First off, you have to go just to meet Paulie. It’s always nice to stop in and see a friendly face. Secondly, the food is outstanding. Paulie always has specials running that are always delicious. Soups are some of the best in the area. My favorite here: roast beef sub with the works &(yellow american & mayo) That sandwich is the best sandwich I’ve ever had from any deli, and I recommend it regularly to anyone I speak with. Park in the back lot for easy access to the deli from the rear entrance.

The food was excellent! I had the vodka chicken Parmesan sandwich and it was very well-made. The bread was fresh and delicious. The garlic knots were also top notch. The food came out quickly and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this place!

Wow is all I can say. If you love fresh Italian sandwiches like this guy does look no further, baby. $ 9 for soppressata, prosciutto fresh mozzarella roasted red peppers and sun-dried tomatoes with a little splash of balsamic vinaigrette on a sesame sub was magnificent. My two favorite Pisano aged meats in the world, sliced ever so thin reducing the chewy factor while maintaining that wonderfully salty/fatty flavor that calls to me. Piled nice and high to quench my carnivorstic hunger that only a big dude requires, others may leave with a doggie bag for that midnight snack with the other half. Excruciatingly small and more of a take out specialty deli set up with four 3 top circular tables. Very friendly personable service, they bring the food right to you and you pay afterwards once you have been satisfied and trust me you will live leave satisfied. Breakfast to late lunch including homemade soups. I can hardly wait to return and sample another specialty samich like the Italian combo. Most everything under $ 10. Thanks again Unilocal for introducing me to another winner!

A nice local deli that serves cold and hot sandwiches, salads, hot breakfast, and grill items. The dining room is a bit small with only 4 small tables, so if you plan to eat in for lunch, your best bet would be to come before the lunch crowd before 11:45. It would be nice if they had outdoor seating, but their sidewalk is tiny. They have 18 of each of cold and hot heroes, and many choices of paninis and wraps. The portion sizes are large and satisfying, like their«belly buster hotdog with chili.» Their omelets are made with 3 eggs, and you can add anything as simple as peppers to something more desirable like steak! There are many options and will expect to come here often to try them all.

Love Pauline G’s. Great atmosphere and every person on the staff is so friendly. They truly made me feel like I was a regular though it was my first time there. Great little deli that I will grab a sandwich every time I come back into Parsippany area.

I am hooked on Paulie G for lunch. When I started a new job in the area, I was looking for a good local sandwich shop. All I could find were sub sandwich making wanna-be shops. Then somebody at work told be to try Paulie G. What a find ! I am so hooked that I will not even consider an alternative if I am in the mood for a sandwich. The portions are substantial. There have been times that I had a sandwich for lunch that day and the day after. And tasty,. they are really delicious sandwiches. The people are generally very pleasant to deal with. The prices are also OK. They do have a few tables should you want to eat there, but the majority of their orders are to go. If you are in the Whippany area and you feel like a good sandwich, you need not look any further than Paulie G’s
