The food was great and my group of girl friends had a blast at a bar for happy hour. I had the shrimp ceviche and really enjoyed that.

Came here for the happy hour specials. Great staff. My friends got food and drinks. I got a free shot for posting this so that’s cool. My friends got tacos, a taco salad, ceviche, and a pollo sandwich.

My mother and I went to get some tacos for dinner. We waited to be seated and once seated, we sat for approximately 20 minutes. It wasn’t crowsed nor busy. We saw several waiters pass us with smiles but no one ever said a word. Finally we realized that we were not going to be served so we proceeded to leave. The bartender asked what the problem was, and asked if we wanted to speak with a Manager. A dishevelled man who looked confused came out, didn’t offer an apology, just said the wait staff was confused. If this is how you treat people, then NEVERMIND.

This was the first time coming to lolas in white plains. Overall, great experience Good was delicious, music was on point, and service was outstanding. Planning my next visit.

Been to Lolas twice now and both times the food and service have been great. The chimmichurri steak was a little different when compared to other chimmichurri sauces I have had so they definitely have their own recipe but it was still good. 2nd visit I got the Verdes enchiladas but decided to add red sauce to make it christmas style. These were good but not great. The flavors just fell a little flat but the spice was good. House margaritas are nice. Would give 4 stars but with the odd chimmichurri recipe and enchiladas being a little flat in just can’t do it. Ps…decided on 4 because this is the best Mexican I can find in the area.

Good food. The Palleja was very good. Service was quick. I wish the frozen margarita machine was working.

Maybe we came on an off night and need to come back when it is busy and they are in a groove, or, more likely to me, all of these positive reviews are cashing in on the drink offer written on the wall. In my experience Lola’s is a loose interpretation of Tex-Mex executed poorly. We had an early reservation on a Saturday night, but didn’t need one as the restaurant was empty. The hostess seemed to not seat a couple in front of us without a reservation even though the restaurant was still half empty when we left. The waiter was nice but slow and the food was pathetic at best. It seems like every corner that can be cut is. We started with the brisket nachos which had flavorless meat and low quality cheese. The chicken chimichanga was dry and flavorless. Maybe we will give it another shot as the setting is nice and close to downtown.

I usually am good at sniffing out the great eats. This time, Unilocal reviews were off the mark. Not sure if it was the sign that offered free dessert and tequila if customers completed a Unilocal review and showed their waiter/waitress. The 3 taco combination and chicken fajitas were bar/cafeteria quality food at best and Sangria was way below standards. I have gotten this off my chest and I will say no more.

Great fun atmosphere and vibe, unlike 90% of Mexican restaurants in Westchester. Weak margaritas, especially the frozen ones. Excellent guac, great chips. The steak burrito with a teaspoon of chipotle aoli was so dry I had to douse it with salsa to choke it down, but was good after dousing. The mole enchiladas my man had were very good. Odd service… Never been given desert menu when we weren’t even barely started eating our entrees… Will def revisit. And fair amount of gays made us feel right at home ;-).

Really really good Mexican food! Very nice blend of food flavors, and excellent margaritas. The guacamole was sooooo good. Blue corn calamari was also new to us, it was good though. The trio of tacos was a good portion, and they allow you to mix and match types in a single order. The dessert was soooo good — tres leches — it was decadent without being overly sweet. We would come here again. Would recommend making reservations if you plan on going, tables run out fast.

Good spot. Has good drink specials for ladies or on taco Tuesday’s. This is my first time here and I really dig the classy interior. It’s a nice day so the windows open up and let the breeze in. The tacos were good. I even had to pro and con about eating the brisket taco before the veggie taco. Of course i are the brisket taco first. That kinda stuff just cannot wait for some veggie jazz. I ate that sucker. Omg. So good. Recommend!!! But only get one brisket taco. The flavor is very punchy and I don’t want you to be overwhelmed and over it. Anyways. The place is good. Come!

Found this place when my boyfriend and I did an exploration in White Plains area. We came in at noon and were the only customers eating there. Service was okay… But food is not bad! We ordered steak and fish tapas, both were really yummy. And we also ordered seafood with rice, which also tasted great. Remember to check in with your facebook or Unilocal — you can get a free dessert. We did choose to have it because we were on diet. :P The last advice is try to come at night. I bet with more people hanging out here will make the ambience much more cozy and romantic.

Michelle is a great attentive server! Their jalapeño margarita is not on the menu, but I ordered one and it’s amazing!

So apart of me feels like Lola’s is a glorified Chilis while another part of me feels like I completely ordered wrong. I had a margarita which is never a bad choice but it tasted as basic as it gets. I was hoping for some fancy margarita options like pineapple jalapeño or something along those lines and they didn’t have that on the menu which was surprising. I was super upset with the try color chips because when I get Mexican food I expect better/home made chips and the tricolor chips are just an indicator of how the rest of the meal will be. So after another margarita I decided on four tacos and my boyfriend got the fajitas with plantains. We weren’t impressed but we weren’t disappointed either since we had low expectations once we saw the chips. So now after talking to a friend she said she orders the empanadas, loves the guac and goes there all the time. Very possible I ordered wrong and this place deserves another shot… but seriously they really should amp up their drink menu and get rid of the tricolor chips.

So there is a sign on the wall that says if you show your server your Unilocal comment you get a free dessert or shot of tequila. That explains so much. HORRIBLE margaritas. Chunks of ice — no flavor. Calamari appetizer was unseasoned and fried rock hard. The tacos were drowning in sauce which we had to scrape off. Can’t believe we waited 30 minutes to be seated for this atrocious meal. I need a time machine to go back and make a different dinner choice. Ugh.

Please tell me how this place has a solid 4 star-rating? I’d like to know what you people had to eat, because this was honestly the WORST«Mexican» restaurant we have ever been to. And I put Mexican in quotations because this place is a joke :) Starting off with the complimentary chips and salsa. Thanks Lola’s for at least making this free, because the chips were stale and the salsa was unpleasantly cold from sitting in the fridge :) Ignoring that red flag and putting our faith in Unilocal,we decided to order the *Blue Corn Calamari*($ 12). No. This was by far the WORST calamari we have ever had. The calamari was sliced so ridiculously thin that all we could taste was the breading, which btw had absolutely no flavor. This dish could not even be saved by the honey chipotle sauce because it was so overly sweet, it just did not work. We took a couple of bites of this dish, pushed it to the side, and left it there to die. Why do you treat calamari this way Lola’s? Why? Now, onto the pathetic excuse for a «taco» :)… We literally have NEVER been to a Mexican restaurant where the tortillas weren’t homemade and fresh. Oh, but here at Lola’s you get stiff, cold, Mission tortillas that you can get from the corner store. Thanks for the effort. I ordered the *Fish, Shrimp & Veggie Tacos*($ 12 for 3) God, they made me want to cry. The fish taco was drenched in this chipotle mayo, which had an aftertaste to it. I couldn’t taste anything else but chipotle mayo. The shrimp taco was also drenched in this syrupy sweet sauce, I don’t even know what it was but it ruined everything. And the veggie taco was just a combination of different bland vegetables. I barely ate anything :)))))))))) Thank you Lola’s for ruining my day with this unbelievably hideous«Mexican» food. Our entire meal should have been free. Yes Unilocal,I am being harsh, but I am being honest without exaggeration. This was again, the WORST«Mexican» restaurant I have ever been to. And to have to pay $ 80+ for the crap we were served is unbelievable. I just can’t. Please people save your money and go elsewhere.

Great service, great food. Always friendly atmosphere. Really good drinks! First time here we sat at the bar. I ordered the tacos — selected the chicken, steak, and chorizo. Red sangria was a perfect match. Second time, ordered the chicken fajitas and margaritas! Consistently delicious. Will definitely be back.

Pretty dope! I was surprised at how fancy it was for a Mexican joint. Maybe I’ve just been to too many Chipotles. Brisket tacos are chock full of guac and all that goodness. And the paella is just bomb. Nibbled on some of the chimichurri(?) steak and that was pretty good too. I didn’t get to try the tres leches(sadface) but the churros were on point. Dip into that chocolate sauce and you’re good.
