If you like a hot sandwich with delicious melted goodness inside, plenty of imaginative preparations & fresh ingredients, then look no further. This sandwich shop is a little gem, just down the way-off the main drag on Mamaroneck Ave. Their portion sizes are very generous, and every sandwich sampled so far has been mouth-watering leaving me raving about them and wanting to come back for more. Best sandwich shop sampled so far in the area! Be prepared around lunch time to stand in line, also seating is hard to come by during busy times. My personal fav. is The Mushroom on flatbread with aged roast beef: Divine!

Good sandwiches. I did the reuben with turkey on the flat bread and it was very good(and messy). I would definitely order from them again.

In a world filled with cookie-cutter sandwich shops/corporations, Melt truly stands out on its own. To my knowledge, nearly everything in their array of delicious, hot sandwiches is homemade, particularly their breads and meats. Basically, this place actually does what Subway claims to do in its ads. Although at this point I’ve tried most of their meat, sauce/“style”, and bread combinations, my favorite has to be their brisket, «French onion» style, on white flatbread. Perfection. Its prices are very reasonable, and you will be satisfied with/by their fair portions. The only critique I have of this place is that certain combinations of meats and sauces can result in a sodium overload; otherwise, this place is truly great.

This place is amazing! I really enjoyed my first sandwich here. The sandwich makers are down to earth and I saw many customers that seemed like were long time customers. They have weekly special combos and so many neat to choose from. It was simply a great experience.

Been meaning to review this place for awhile. Have been here about 3 – 4 times and have had various meats and combos. All have been amazing! Today I had the brisket with BBQ combo! OMG!’ brisket was delicious, the fresh tomato, bacon and Gorgonzola made for an incredible combo. And that flat bread., ummm Don’t miss this place!

The meat was delicious, but the bread was incredibly soggy.

Pastrami French onion sandwich your thing? Maybe a corned-beef Cuban? How about a brisket BBQ sandwich? Do you like your sandwich mostly meat? This sandwich shop fills a much-needed void in the otherwise barren Westchester supply of good artisan deli sandwiches that doesn’t start with«wedge», or «cluckin’ russian». You start by ordering through their online website. You choose your bread(flat, short, or long). You then choose your meat(aged round beef, corned beef, brisket, pastrami, portabella mushroom, turkey breast, honey ham, pulled pork, jerked chicken, chicken breast, daily fish, or pork lion). Then you choose your combo(the blt, the spicy, the Philly, the mango, the Mac melt, the Reuben, the Cuban, the special, the French onion, the bacon cheddar, the BBQ, the Italian, the mushroom). Then you pick it up and have your taste buds dominated. Only better corned beef or pastrami sandwiches are on the lower east side. The shop gets 4⁄5 stars only for the lack of long weekend hours. Otherwise, the sandwich you get for your money really is the best in Westchester. Give Melt a try, you won’t regret it.

SHUTUP!!! Seriously that’s what you do when one of their«flats» go into your mouth. I ordered the Pastrami with the«French Onion substituted mozzarella» that on its own was smack your mother worthy… I also ordered the Ancho Chile Brown Sugar Brisket With the«French onion»… Absolutely Devine! Seriously when I bit into the brisket I swear I heard angels singing. The place is small if you can grab a seat you must play lotto. Music here is upbeat and keeps the flow pretty chill. Everyone that works here has a great presence and positive flows… Keep up the great work!

LOVED this place. Simply amazing. All of the meat is roasted and slow cooked in house. The rolls are seemingly fresh from a bakery. So delicious. The bad… The inside of this restaurant was filthy. From the customer seating area, the walls to the food prep area. It looks as if they need a professional to do a deep clean. Would I eat there again… Without a doubt. Would I take my food to go… Most definitely.

Very Nice place for lunch. Decently busy but the service is quick. The melts are very good and filling even though they don’t look as big as you’d think for the price. They only real downside is that no sides come with the sandwiches you have to get them separately. For $ 8.50 a piece you would hope a few chips or even a pickle came with it. They have a good beverage selection but I recommend the home brewed sweet tea and lemonade, mix them like they say and the great thing about that is the free refills. Overall I would definitely go there again, lunch was about $ 29.00 for two at a sandwich shop so a touch high like I said but still very much worth the money. Take the detour off the highway and stop for a bite.

Ordered a chicken pizza. They said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I went to pick it up 30 minutes later thinking it’d be done. I showed up, there were 20 people inside waiting around and they hadn’t even made my pizza yet. I ended up going somewhere else for lunch. Super annoying.

First time I went was today as a friend told me about it last week. I went it gave my order and they take your first name. No slips needed for you to hold until your name is called. I got the Reuben Melt on Flatbread and a soda. I ate in so I could see the lunchtime traffic. Must have served 30 customers in 30 minutes. Quality — Excellent. Delivery of the sandwich — excellent. The Ruben was just a little messy but I didn’t care, corn beef, cheese and dressing 5 star! This is not your everyday sandwich place but a good way to treat yourself, from time to time. A little pricey but worth every penny!

This is some serious comfort food here. DONOT think of going in here while trying to eat healthy, or stay away from CARBSCARBSCARBS! But… luckily my fiancé and I were not trying to stay away. Oh no. Instead we indulged. We got the pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich. I was not expected it to be as good, fresh, and HUGE as it was. It was really enough to feed two people, especially because of how heavy the ingredients were. The meat was tender, and well, the rest was cheesy. It was a great sandwich. However there seemed like many great options to choose from, as well as different breads. We will be curious to try something else next time we go back. The shop was quant and cozy, not a ton of seating. But we got there when it opened so we did not have trouble sitting. The owners seemed really proud of their product, and kept making sure we were satisfied with our food.

Amazing sandwiches!!! you choose your bread, the meat and the combination. There’s the usually meats and combinations about 8 – 10 options and they have specials. Truly a unique restaurant, every time I eat at melt I leave with a smile on my face. Normally when I go out for lunch with friend everyone will text talk for a little while before we start eating, but at melt you stop talking put your phone down and eat. My favorite sandwich is the brown sugar brisket with mango, but you really can’t go wrong. Melt offers the option to order online which is a good idea, gets busy at lunch time and the seating is limited. I can’t wait to go back!!!

How hungry are you? If the answer includes an expletive then stop reading and just get to Melt. Seriously. This place makes great sandwiches. You get some options for bread/wrap, meat and then the way it’s prepared. Don’t misinterpret that for a subway reference, this is nowhere near that mess. They make large, decadent and delicious sandwiches that are always done well. Everything is prepared on the spot and it’s always hot and filling. If your counting calories they have some wrap options and a salad, but honestly, what’s the point, your here for the sandwiches. Portions are pretty big so if your having a work lunch, prepare for some food coma issues. Seating is very limited and during weekday lunch hours the place can get a little busy, but it’s worth it. Plus, it seems like there’s always parking in and around the area. All in all great place, though it may be rough on your cholesterol to make a daily lunch option.

Step 1: Choose your bread Step 2: Pick your meat Step 3: Choose your fixin(i.e. Rueben style, BLT style, BBQ, Mushroom Melt) Step 4: Eat Step 5: Pass out! I was barely functional after eating here, as the sandwiches are massive, indulgent, and delicious. This is not the type of grab-and-go sandwhich shop that you can eat on the way to work. No, no, no — for me at least — this is my put on a bib, wear sweatpants, and hide your identity with sunglasses type of experience. Its so good, but so bad a the same time. My experience at MELT paid homage to St Patty’s day — where i got a flat bread, with corned beef, rueben styled. There are endless combinations — which unfortunately means endless visits back to this place. Oh well — there goes bikini season. My only wish is that they served Pepsi.
