3.5−4. We came here for a catered event in one of the private rooms(which we luckily didn’t have to pay for), so I’m not sure what the general dining experience is like. The food and service were good, though not as spectacular as one would expect for a high-end steak restaurant. The scallop appetizer was a good bite. The sea bass dish was tasty and fresh, but rather rich and I couldn’t finish the entire meal. I needed a bite of the steak to cut into the richness of the fish, and it was quite tender, though, again, I feel like I’ve had better elsewhere. I had the mousse, which was a good size because it was also very rich. Given the price point here, not sure that I’d need to return if I was actually paying!

What a disaster. First, we had 7 pm reservations, we were seated at 7:20 pm. We had made our reservations weeks in advance requesting our favorite server to be told they already had too many tables. It’s now 8:05 pm and we are still waiting to be served our first course which is one of their standard salads. I’ll be to tired to eat when, if, I ever get anything to eat.

horrible service Bad mgmt and just cant cook a steak right! the timing of the meal is never right usually one part of the course takes forever! its not cheap and they come and ask you if everything is OK but, they dont look and actually care! too many other steak houses, that are reasonable in prices, that have free parking and great service and can cook a steak right hopefully, they get a real grill person, hire a mgmt team that can get service right or this place isn’t for long anyway

A friend and I dined at Morton’s last night. It was a Wednesday evening and we were seated promptly. The ambiance was upscale and extremely relaxed. From the hostess to our server, everyone was pleasant. The bread that was brought out was some the best I ever tasted… fresh, nice and piping hot. And the butter and jelly that accompanied it was a nice touch. I overdid it with the bread, I could barely eat my entrée. For my entrée I had jumbo crab cakes with sauteed spinach and mushrooms, and bacon and onion macaroni and cheese with lobster. The meal was delicious and filling. My friend ordered lamb with creamed spinach. He cleaned the plate so I’m assuming he enjoyed it. We drank white wine with our meal and the restaurant employees were swift to refill our glasses when they noticed that our drinks were diminishing. For dessert, I ordered the blueberry bread pudding. It was not moist enough for my liking but still tasted good. I have definitely had better. From the greeting at the door to the service, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the White Plain area. A bit on the pricey side but well worth it.

Went there on a Saturday night. Food was very good but the waitress kept coming by, at least 6 times while we were eating to ask«Is everything O.K.?» Maybe it was 8 times. One time we asked for more water. She said that she would take care of this. She did not. Finally the girl with the water made the rounds to all the tables and then we got more water. It was noisey. Music was too loud. For the price it was not worth it. I would not go again.

Rated as an upscale steakhouse Morton’s of White Plains provides an extremely relaxed atmosphere. A friendly welcome — a comfortable booth — the three of us were ready for a fine steak dinner. We found our steak choices to be very good but not outstanding. The 12oz Center-Cut Filet Mignon(medium rare) was tender but lacking a bit in flavor. Others at the table ordered the Signature Cut Prime New York Strip(medium and medium rare). Again — enjoyed but not«a cut above» nearby upscale steakhouses. All steaks arrived as requested. The side dishes — Lyonnaise Potatoes and Spinach– were fine but portioned slightly small. The desserts however were enormous and enjoyable. The Chocolate Cake selection — The Apple Crisp with Ice Cream special provided a fine ending to the evening meal. Service for the most part worked. Throughout the evening we had four guiding us through dinner. The hostess was informative, pleasant and friendly without being intrusive. Our conversation with her provided laughs and smiles — she’s a keeper. The sommelier agreed with our wine choice giving background on the selection. He occasionally returned to see if we were satisfied. One waitress however seemed out of place. While very pleasant she had issues opening the bottle of wine. As she stood beside me I had a slight concern that the bottle — when finally opened — would arrive in my lap. Thankfully a second waitress assisted — the bottle was opened immediately. When the three credit cards were returned for signature I found mine missing. When informed our same waitress looked frantically within her work pockets pulling out her own and then finally finding mine. An honest yet worrisome mistake. True Rating — ***1/2

Really disappointing. We went to dinner tonight and our waitress(Steph) was horrible. She never brought us bread after we had requested it, my food came out wrong and she never came over. We had to call another waiter over to help us. She never asked if we needed anything and we had to ask for more water. She was very attentive to another table so I guess that’s why she couldn’t bother with us. Someone like that shouldn’t be working in such a nice place. Maybe there is a job for her at McDonalds. You go to a place like that to expect good service and great food and then your night is ruined by really crappy service. My food came out wrong but the steak was good after the 2nd try. There are so many other restaurants in the area I would much rather spend my money at. I won’t be returning. I recommend going to Benjamin’s to anyone who wants a great steak dinner and excellent service.

Mothers day dinner was ridiculous. Seated at 6:30 food did not come out till 8:30. Kitchen was horrible. Not the first time we had issues with this Morton’s. I’m done here.

Mortons is definitely overpriced. I mean the steak and potatoes are great. But they’re definitely not worth the price … The service is fast and friendly, which is why I gave this place 3 stars. I probably wouldn’t go back, because I can make better steak for 1⁄20 of the price.

This was my first time at Morton’s. I probably would have never set foot in here without a group. I don’t eat meat so a steakhouse usually isn’t my first choice for a meal. However, I was with a group of alumni from the conference who happened to have a hefty per diem, so Morton’s it was. I was pleasantly surprised by the menu options. They had more choices for me than I thought. I’m not vegetarian, I eat lots of vegetable and seafood. So, I ordered the Chopped Salad and Tuna Tacos. Both were tasty. The salad was large, so I ended up taking a couple of tacos to go. I also ordered a mixed drink, which was good too. The service was great. Our waiter was so nice especially since a few of us had special requests like placing the alcohol purchases on separate tickets. We had no room for dessert, but a few people in the restaurant ordered some an the presentation and size of the cakes were impressive. The atmosphere was nice. The dining area and bar were both dimly lit. I guess that’s perfect when you’re on a date. Overall, nice spot.

Great food but super slow service. We both ordered from the restaurant week menu. We received the large loaf of bread and ate half of it before our soup and salad arrived. At least the soup was very hot and the Caesar salad was okay. They gave one very large and very hard croûton. We were able to finish the entire large loaf of bread, had our dishes cleared, and still had 30 minutes of waiting before our steaks arrived. It took a grand total of 60 minutes from when we gave our order for the steaks to arrive. The steaks tasted nice and to my surprise the temperature was what we ordered. I almost never see steak the temperature we order. Dessert took awhile too which was bad because they just take the dish out of the refrigerator and give it to us. Paying the check was brutal too. It took us awhile to get the check and we were not the only ones getting frustrated. There was a bald guy who worked there just standing around doing nothing so a woman asked him to handle their check since she was sick of waiting for our server. You would think after this incident the bald guy would get the hint to get moving and see if tables needed something but he just kept standing there. We had to ask another server to handle our check too. This place is in a pay for parking facility so add $ 4 — $ 5 for parking. The food is good but only come here if you have a lot of time and patience.

Really happy with the food and service here I don’t know why other people decide to rate low based on the absurd prices, they should know their walking into a Mortons, not Applebee’s…This is something you should expect I’ve been to my share of steakhouses, and this one doesn’t disappoint. Steak is absolutely delicious. I believe I got the filet mignon, then another time the Ribeye, both sensational. Don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu Service was all excellent. Waiter came by our table very timely. Never thought it was too much or waiting too long at any point. Perfect restaurant if you want some quality steaks in a pleasing atmosphere

Steak is always excellent. I did not give it 5 stars because the salads and sides are very over priced and not worth the premium. Also the music was a bit loud.

I didn’t want to like this place because it’s a chain and I’m a snob and always feel places like that are for idiots, but this place was pretty freaking good. My husband got a $ 250 gift card here and the two of us went to town. Amazing bread, amazing side dishes and the steak was very good. I’ve been to Peter Lugers, Wolfgang’s, Ruth Chris, blah blah, and I liked Morton’s better than all those places. This was more shocking to me than anyone else. The inside is blah. This is where I felt redeemed in my prior judgements. If it wasn’t dark, I imagine it would look like a hotel conference room. You also have a hodge-podge of slobs and people who actually put on pants to go out to eat. There were couples dressed up for what I’m assuming was their two month Tinder anniversary dinner and then guys coming in wearing sweatpants who looked like they just dropped off bodies in the East River. I’m assuming they paid in hundred dollar bills that came out of a rubberband stack. I wouldn’t go here for the atmosphere, but the food is good enough to go back. I was half-wrong.

I got a gift certificate to go there for $ 200. I invited another couple and ended up adding $ 150 to the gift certificate for lousy service and my ribeye steak was so tough I didn’t eat it. Sent it back and got another one worse then the 1st one. I would never go back there again. I’ve been to a lot better steak places then this. Benjamin’s blows this place away and ½ the price.

I will start off with saying that I made a reservation for 8pm and was not sat until about 8:35.We had a glass of wine at the bar. It really killed the mood starting the night. WHENWEFINALLY got sat we were greeted by a very nice and funny server. It was restaurant week and we ordered steaks off the restaurant week menu and a cocktail shrimp appetizer. We looked over at the table next to us and saw the restaurant week 6oz steaks looked VERY small so we upgraded to the 8oz for about 10 $ more. The cocktail shrimp appetizer’s presentation was very nice it came out on dry ice very dramatically. The service steak was absolutely fantastic that I honestly didn’t care about the long wait to get sat.

I’m basically a Morton’s fan and this location is, as the rating says, A-OK. Service is good without being intrusive, the steaks are top quality and the deserts sufficiently decedent. I ended up celebrating a birthday here and the staff were lovely, showing up with a picture and a free dessert. Nice place and worth a visit. Does a good job executing on the Morton’s formula. Not an outstanding, transformative place but plenty good. Worth a visit if you like the chain.

Excellent steakhouse. Everything always superb from drinks to dessert and service. I like my steak black and blue and its 7th time between 2 locations one in Paramus every time it comes medium rear. I don’t mind because excellent quality meat and seasoned so perfect so I don’t complain. I will go back anytime and always because both locations are in the mall so after shopping we all get hungry lol. But if I plan going to steakhouse I will go to the river palm in edgewater nj ! 5 star all the way.

Excellent service from the bar to the main experience. Deviled egg appetizer a great choice, add to that the Chilean sea bass dish and close with a cappuccino and you have one perfect evening at Morton’s
