i really love this place because their sandwiches are amazing, to die for, and so affordable especially considering they jam pack your sandwich with the good stuff. you can eat half now and half later. the down side is the location, which is OK, i usually can find parking. the inside is a bit dingy, it’s old but that’s good i guess it’s been around the block and people still love it. i highly highly recommend it.

Watch them if you make a request. On 7⁄6 I asked for chicken cutlet lettuce tomato on a roll with mayo and red wine vinegar. He put some other dressing on and when I tried to stop him he said it was oil and vinegar. I said I want red wine vinegar not oil and vinegar.(There is a huge difference) He said ok. Paused said they had no red wine vinegar, only white. Really? Come on Royal Scarlet that can not be right. I said okay skip the vinegar. Than he looked at me and said, «well, what do you want?» The sandwich without the vinegar. Ugh this place has gone down in quality. Not just over that but each of the four times I have gone in the last year. I want it the way it was a few years ago. That was amazing.

Great place for a sandwich. I have been going there for years and years. Say hi to Raymond.

Breakfast was a great choice. Egg sandwiches, pancakes, waffles. All made to perfection. Just some Old fashioned good. But as we were picking up our order we noticed the lunch specials being carried out. Everything looked simply delicious. Clean, great staff. I’ll keep coming.

This place has been my go-to deli for breakfast and lunch for months now. Despite a rather humble appearance, it offers an incredible variety of sandwiches in addition to the standard deli fare. I’ve had the«chicken little», the«Mariano Rivera», and the«A-Rod», all great, as well as a pretty good BEC. The guys who work there are quick, efficient, and courteous, and there is no shortage of chips and snacks to complement your sandwich. Also, the amount of food for the price is phenomenal. Get a wedge, and for less than $ 8 you have a meal that can be stretched out into several. Kudos to these guys, hope they continue to get business because this is a quality deli in a sea of good delis.

Sandwiches are very good, but pricing is arbitrary. Placed an order today from their printed menu that we picked up in the store last week, and when we got there to pick it up, they added $ 1.50 to EACH sandwich. We ordered everything as written on the menu(except for adding ‘salt & pepper’) so it’s not as if we were charged for special requests. Be LEERY, very very leery, of ordering from a place that increases their prices 20% from the time you order to when you pay. BADBUSINESS, SLEAZYPRACTICES

My only elaboration on what the other reviewers have said is to strongly recommend that you order your sandwich on «wedge» which is Westchesterese for a hoagie or steak sandwich roll. You get an enormous sandwich for between $ 7.95 and $ 10.95 which will feed two — but more to the point, the«wedge» bread is excellent. Fresh, seeded, great texture… Today had the Wicked Kwistie — perhaps a ½ lb. of turkey, munster, slaw, pickle etc. The Deep River chips are all you’ll need with it. Bring change for the meters — you won’t need much as these guys are real pros and get the well made sandwiches done quickly.

Cannot get any better than this!!! LOVE this tiny corner deli. It’s the best EVER old school NY deli. Generously made sandwiches/rolls are stuffed and wrapped neatly then placed in a brown paper bag with the price handwritten on the bag — love it! The coffee is very good too! This small store is packed with just about everything! Service is fast, prices good, employees are friendly — and they seem to remember everyone! Truly the best money ever spent at a small business!

This is a really good deli. They have lots and lots of options, and when you order a sandwich from them, you better be hungry. They really pile on the meat. The guys here are really fast, and very friendly. The only downside is that they’re kinda pricey for a deli. On average, a sandwich on a roll runs $ 5.95-$ 7.95 depending on what you get. The specials are usually $ 4.99. But hey, this is White Plains, what can you do really? Overall I’m pleased, been coming here for years, and I’m still a fan.

I can not believe I have not reviewed this place yet. In short this is the BESTDELI. The unassuming storefront does not compare to the magic that is created inside. The bread is always fresh(which is the most important part of a deli sandwich to me). The portions are large and if you want to reduce the amount of luncheon meat just ask for a ‘lite’ sandwich and they reduce the price. I can not think of any deli that actually does that anymore. You can choose from a lengthy list of sandwiches or make your own custom creation with any topping or condiment. Lastly you can upgrade any sandwich to a wedge for a few more dollars and have a meal for two. Whenever I am in the area I definitely go out of my way to stop by and pickup a sandwich. Lastly, this place does not have any tables therefore take-out only.
